I had such a great experience with True Quality Pools! I believe the owner's name is Rene -- he was extremely professional, personable, and kind. I called yesterday with an issue regarding our pool heater (something my husband usually handles, so I was completely out of my depth). Rene and his team were incredibly patient and thorough in walking me through everything. To my surprise and appreciation, they came out the very next morning to take a look. Their responsiveness and professionalism were truly impressive. Based on this experience, we're actually planning to have them come back to possibly replaster our pool! This company charges a lot. But they provide rather irresponsible maintenance. They aren't very responsive.

I have used true Quality Pool through my home warranty 3 times. They are the only pool company that will call to schedule appointments as soon as order is placed with home warranty. They always diagnose the problem with first visit, and order parts. Soon as parts come in they make an appointment for repairs. I have had very bad luck with every other pool company that has been assigned to me through warranty company. I was so pleased when they finally sent someone out , that provides a service that I am paying my warranty company for. If you are going through a warranty company I recommend you ask if True Quality Pools are one of their contractors. read more

Its no fun having pool equipment problems, but they are going to happen from time to time. For me, over the past many years of dealing with many companies to provide my equipment service needs, I've come to the conclusion there's just ONE company I'll call going forward. Rene is unbelievably responsive, knows how to run a company, knows how to treat a customer. I've now had several experiences with Rene and a couple of the technicians he employs - haven't had an issue/problem yet that wasn't promptly diagnosed and corrected, and it never hurts that he's just a really nice guy at the core. True Quality Pool Service was the contractor assigned by my home warranty company to handle a pool pump replacement for us. The owner himself came out recently to handle the installation. He had recommended a variable speed pump and negotiated with the home warranty company to ensure that we receive the pump that was right for our needs. The new pump has been performing well, and I appreciate very much the friendly, professional service that the owner himself provided. I recommend their services without hesitation! read more

I have been a customer of True Quality Pool Service for several years. I met Rene when he first started his company, and in the beginning Rene did the weekly service himself. He was always prompt, professional and did a great job. When I had equipment issues Rene was there to diagnose, and repair. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. However recently, as the company grew to several employees the service has deteriorated dramatically. The service technicians are not supervised, and provided poor quality weekly service. The pool equipment was not checked as claimed. For example after draining one half of my pool to move some pipes, no one even looked to read the salt water meter which has been blinking "need salt" ever since, nor did anyone consider to replace the salt lost from the draining. We did a large deck replacement last month, and despite several assurances from Rene that he would mark the line where he wanted the trench to be dug to move the pipes, he never managed to do that. The contractor finally dug a trench in the general area, but when Rene's employee arrived to move the pipes it was not to his liking. He delayed the contractor 2 full days of waiting for the work to be done, and they ended up using a separate trench the contractor had dug for a drainage pipe, requiring the contractor to finally put in a french drain. Further, Rene promised to provide me a quote for the work in advance twice, but failed to do so. I was dismayed to receive a very large bill as soon as the pipes were relocated. The invoice was specifically for "relocate 2 valves, Vacuum pool, remove all dirt, clean filters". When I asked Rene to complete the vacuum service he told me that the vacuuming was "a courtesy", and that the pool did not need to be vacuumed. After I sent him a video, he finally agree to vacuum - which was poorly done and the pool is still very dirty after several weeks of service and running the cleaner. As a final step in closing to our weekly service agreement, after notifying Rene in the middle of this month that I will no longer be using his company for my pool, and having paid for the month of August in advance, he refusing to service the pool this week. His response was "Service has been competed for this month, we provided 4 weeks of service on 8-2, 8-9, 8-16 and 8-23". Wednesday August 30 is as far as I understand still in the month of August and the pool should have been serviced this week. Rene has grown his company dramatically, but not provided the employee training, or supervision necessary to grow a good service company. When questioned Rene constantly complains that he is "down 2 employees" or "has 400 pools to service" and is too busy to respond to his regular customers needs. I started with True Quality when it first opened and would have given rave reviews, and recommended Rene to friends. I would not recommend this company again to anyone for any reason. read more

Rene was very professional! He showed up early in the morning just as he promised, drained and cleaned our pool and in less than 3 hours he was filling it back up! Great job! Will definitely have him back to install new equipment and use them for our weekly pool service! read more
