I reached out to Ross and on the first call he covered all bases and showed up at the end of that very same day to take a look. With little ones running around it was a pretty sickening feeling thinking about the germs and microorganisms probably growing in there and thinking about draining and cleaning and the headache of getting the pool back to normal and safe for them to get in. Ross reassured us with a plan and got us scheduled for the very next day where Taras showed up and did the dang thing!! Within 48 hrs there was a huge difference, and every single day after there was a noticeable change in appearance. On one side it was gettin cleaner and cleaner of objects and gunk, on the other side the the tint of color change was happening. It wasn't until I went back and looked at pictures side by side where I saw that day over day switch from green to blue. Massive change! All in all, great service since even before starting service and could not be happier with the service since then. Looking forward to some warmer days to start jumping back in! It was well worth the drive from Stockton to Rancho Cordova to find a place that cares about their customers and takes time to answer all your questions. He did my pool for over a year and everything randomly stopped on his end. Super random and out of the blue. We hardly spoke or interacted, only when he needed me to pay him extra for parts or filter cleaning. He usually comes on Thursdays and had access to my backyard since I provided him my gate code so he can go in and out without any in person interaction. I always paid him a week or a few days in advance before the next month begins, which I know made him happy since people would pay him late. I paid him for November and December's maintenance but receive zero service. No refunds neither. Very unfortunate because he was great for a year, but because of this issue - I would NOT suggest anyone to get service from this company. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Khang quickly diagnosed both problems, repaired the shaft seal, corrected the wiring, and got my pump running perfectly. He didn't just fix the problem--he took the time to explain what went wrong, answered all of my questions, and gave me practical advice on maintaining my older pool. He pointed out that my 72-year-old fiberglass pool only has one return jet, explained why that affects circulation, and even showed me why he believes there's a partial clog in the plumbing. He also recommended products that would actually help instead of trying to sell me things I didn't need. He even told me to return the metal stain remover because he didn't think my stains were caused by metals, which I really appreciated. Khang was honest, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. As a first-time pool owner, I learned more from him in one visit than I had in months of trying to figure everything out on my own. I highly recommend Khang to anyone needing pool repairs or maintenance. I'll definitely be calling him again.

We had an issue last month, issues happen, what matters is how businesses respond. I was pleasantly surprised to get a visit by the owner, Darell, who came in and apologized for the problem and corrected it himself. He went above and beyond showed up to the next service day as promised to conduct training himself with the two new hires he had. All of the employees are hard working people but sometimes unless it's pointed out, things can be missed. I appreciate the quick response and the level of service Darell provided. It's nice to not have to worry about my pool & hot tub being clean and ready for us to use whenever we want to.

I also appreciate that he installs reputable equipment that doesn't result in callbacks. He also replaced the rubber seal rings as his standard protocol. Cheapest part but a lot of other companies don't do this. When it comes time for us to replace all of our equipment, this is the company I would go to for advice, new equipment, and installation. I'd like to personally apologize and thank all of our patient customers this year, this year has been a complete struggle for everybody in the construction industry. With on and off material delays shortages ect. While I understand how frustrating this is thank you for being patient and understanding. Our communication has been a bit spotty this season with our build projects due to most our resources have been dedicated to constant phone calls with suppliers and manufacturers, tracking down orders shipments what's in stock what's not so we can try and give our customers the best positions to not be held up to long. Along with these issues our service department has struggled this year with steady employees that are reliable we have since fixed that issue, we have had to take on almost a 300% increase in all material and chemical costs this year which has been passed down the industry to our customers again frustrating I understand I just wanted to apologize if Myself or my company has caused you any frustration during your project due to delays and or lack of communication. and let you know I care and know it's happening and we are working day and night on solutions and answers to expedite the finishing of these projects. We have talked with our sales reps of the manufacturers they have assured us production has ramped up and supplies are on the way we are going to see this turn around in the next month and product will be back on the shelves! read more

After months of meetings with numerous pool companies, we chose Sac Pool Pros to start installation of our new pool in early December 2024. The various crew members during this process were professional, very knowledgeable and maintained a high standard for quality. A very momentous occurrences happened during construction that I am happy to share as it touched me deeply. During a high wind storm, my flagpole blew over to have my American Flag lay in the mud. A Sac Pool Pro employee picked up the flag, wiped it off and placed the flag inside my patio. I will never forget this man and his patriotic gesture. Thank you again. We we're swimming and enjoying our new salt water pool/spa in April 2025. We did much research and decided to have Sac Pool Pros maintain our new pool. Brandon, pool services manager, is very knowledgeable for the care of and the importance to maintain proper & safe pool chemical levels. Chris is the pool tech who services our pool weekly. and does a GREAT JOB! We had some issues with calcium fallout for which Brandon and Chris were very diligent to address/correct. Keep up the good work. This is my first company review and post. I wanted to wait and to validate Sac Pool Pros as a company. First off let's start with Tommy the sales associate, absolutely a pleasure to deal with! My property situation wasn't the easiest to design and he blew it out of the park! I had three other estimates and without pool builders even knowing the dollar amount of there competition they beat them by a far far amount. They also include a lot of things that other companies do not, so make sure you do your research before choosing. From start to finish everything that was stated was done, keep in mind there's always going to be slight delays on certain portions of the build but they'll keep you notified through the entire process. My supervisor was David and I can't say enough good things about him and how he builds pools. All questions answered and if there was a problem he got it handled. Dre in the office who I think is a construction coordinator was a pleasure to deal with, also made sure everything was on time and kept me up to date when needed. Honestly, I'm not one to give reviews. I really had the best experience with this company. All my friends who have used others for there pools mentioned to me what a nightmare the process will be. Sac Pool Pros delivered and there were no nightmares, just an honest group of people doing what they do best... building pools! The absolute WORST service I've ever had and I've had a pool for 10 years. David is a LIAR, a CROOK, LAZY, ENTITLED and just not a very good person. He ignores texts/calls AFTER he's promised to show up and doesn't. He will send his most inexperienced hired help with little to no hands-on training to service your pool and inevitably when it's damaged, he will claim ignorance. Plain and simple: I am warning whomever is needing a pool service company, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!! What kind of person would lie and say their mother died as a reason why they haven't returned calls? What kind of "Pro" would no call/no show when they say they're going to come by for WEEKLY SERVICE?? Then when you ask them about it, they say, "we did come over" and you know it's a lie because you were waiting for them out back ALL DAY...What kind of "Pro" would agree to pay for half the cost of a used pump THAT THEIR EMPLOYEE BROKE and again, no call/no show??Bottom Line? Hire this guy/company at your own risk. Don't say you weren't warned... Last thing: David I see you pick and choose which reviews to respond to. I DARE you to dispute anything in this post. Awesome!!!!, David the owner is great, very nice guy, hard worker, this is his lively hood after all, and Sac Pool Pros is the only company I will call for my future pool needs. I had a pump issue and let it go for about 5 months, but with weather getting nice, and me tired of looking at a green pool, I stated my search for the right pool company. I called 3 different pool company's and David, the owner, actually answered the phone, imagine that, ha ha,,, unlike the other companies that lets there voice mail answer for them. David happen to be coming to my area (Carmichael) to service his other clients, and was willing to stop by my house and asses my issue. Within in 15 mins, he was in my backyard, messing around with my pool pump, and 15 mins later, found the issue, check to see if he had the part I needed in stock(which he didn't, it was in Stockton), placed the order for me and was out of there back on the road to finishing servicing his other clients. 5 days later, I was back to running order, and he gave me some how to get rid of the algae pointers, and bam, 2 days later my pool was not longer green....simply awesome, you won't be sorry to contact Sac Pool Pros. Sac Pool Pros is in Sacramento and I live in Vacaville. This was my first experience ever having a pool built. Even though the sales guy explained everything when he came out,I truly had no idea what to expect. Whenever I had questions, Dave (the owner) always answered my text or call to reassure me through the entire process. Even with COVID19 restrictions and rules changing everyday, this company was able to start my initial dig on May 12 and ended everything August 1st! Dave even came out to do a final walk through with me and made sure I understand everything and told me if I EVER have questions just let him know. I was extremely pleased with their overall professionalism and timeliness. Him and his crew were never late, if anything they got here earlier and earlier each week. Other than the customer service, the best part about Sac Pool Pros is 90% of this company is in house. The only thing that was contracted out (to my knowledge) was the Gunite spray. I came across Sac Pool Pros on Yelp, and soon after discovered a friend had used them last year for their pool build. Out of the builders we met with, Dave was the most professional and by far the best at understanding what our wants were, and what would work best in our yard. The contract and design process was seamless, communication was better than I could have imagined, and the entire project went incredibly smooth. We appreciate the design and engineering that went into our pool and decking, and Dave truly designed a gorgeous pool that our family will enjoy for many years to come. I did so much research within pool companies before I chose Sac Pool Pros. I mean, I was asking questions from multiple people who had pools installed from various companies. There's nothing but good things I heard about Sac Pool Pros but I could not say the same about all these other companies, which I won't mention names just because I'm not the type of person to bad mouth anyone. It seems like you're out of all the stories. I heard every other company drop the ball at some point in their building process but nothing but positive things were said about Sac Pool Pros so I went with these guys and let me tell you that I do not regret it. We received multiple estimates from other companies, and while some of them came in lower than Sac Pool Pros, Eric took the time to walk us through the differences. Our pool was completed last summer, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Sac Pool Pros. We were referred by a friend who had used them, and that recommendation definitely paid off. After contacting the office, we were connected with the sales designer, Eric Broussard, the very same day. He actually came out to our house that same day, sat down with my wife and me, and designed the pool right there on the spot. By the next day, we had our estimate in hand. When I first contacted Dave Randolph, owner of Sac Pool Pros, I was impressed with his knowledge and how much of the local market he had been able to earn. When we first started the service with Sac Pool Pros, it was a little rough. I couldn't tell if or when his guys showed up to complete the servicing of our pool. I had a difficult time reaching Dave to get information on this, but later I realized he had been hit very hard staffing challenges, and he was simply taking on the brunt of the missing people on his schedule. Once we reconnected, he has been extremely responsive and he even helped me with a failed pump issue very quickly and in such a way, I became sold on Dave and how he helped us a number of times. If you are looking for a pool service company, Dave is absolutely my recommendation, and deserves to earn even more of the Sacramento area market share. read more

I am very pleased with responsiveness and professionalism of Sac Pool Pros. David returned my calls in a timely manner and showed up when he said he would. We started using Sac Pool Pros Service last 6 months. We had a negative experience with our previous pool services company. They did not clean our pool properly. And charged very high. But David has been handling our pool for last few months and is doing an excellent job at keeping our pool clean. But the big surprise has been in the maintenance of the pool equipment. We have had some small repairs that were needed, and I have been truly surprised by how little they charged for obtaining and installing the parts. I utilized this company for an one time service because I already have a pool service but they were excellent! The reason I called for their service was because I had my house painted and there was a windstorm accompanied by rain and a lot of debris ended up floating in the pool and also stuck at the bottom. I tried cleaning it myself but paint gunk and little paper pieces are frustrating to clean with the net and I don't have that much patience. The girl who answered the phone and called back to answer questions was upbeat and pleasant. The guy who serviced the pool was very informative AND he did an excellent job. I utilize another service and have for over a decade now but I'm seriously considering switching over to this local business. Thank you for making my pool look sparkling clean. read more

I wanted to wait a year after my pool was built before leaving a review. I wanted to make sure everything ran right and if I came across any issues how they would respond and take care of them. I can say that I'm beyond pleased on how my concerns were met, 1 how long it took to someone to respond and 2 how long it would take for my issue to be resolved. Brandon the service manager always been pleasant to talk to and has answered questions during after hours, which isn't something that I felt needed to be done with my issue but I felt was great and an important customer service trait to have. If there is anything for improvement I would say the office can communicate a little better even with that I would recommend them to anyone! Btw my pool is beautful! read more

We had our pool/waterfall and spa built by Brandon and his crew at Sac Pool Pros, and they did a beautiful job from start to finish. Brandon walked us through the entire process (which my wife and I appreciated) and always made sure everything stayed on track. As new homeowners, that gave us a lot of confidence and made the whole process far less stressful. The finished pool/waterfall and spa turned out beautiful, and it has already become the perfect spot for family get togethers and relaxing weekends at home. They were fabulous from start to finish and although everybody was very helpful and friendly, I have to give an extra special. I would like to compliment David and his professional, kind, and knowledgeable staff on the service they provide me and my family. They not only service my pool but 2 other close family friends. Ok, so first things first. (Trying to manage expectactions) The communication was a bit confusing…read moreat times and I found it difficult. That said, and past that? AMAZING AMAZING Job. I cannot begin to praise this job and how happy I am with it enough. To know how we got here, we have to know how it started, so I bought my house under the impression I had a working pool. 5 days after I moved in, the pool pump died and most of the water leaked out through cracks I was unaware of. It was devastating! I got some quotes to fix it, and that was really not in my budget. Fast forward 8 years, my homeowners insurance decided to drop me and no one would pick me up until I fixed the pool. I wasn't ready for the cost, but I didn't really have a choice if I wanted to continue to be able to insure the biggest purchase I ever made (my house) Now about this pool, it's a real piece of garbage, I would come to find out from the neighbor, it was home made had no plumbing, and was not plumbed correctly. This was like all my worst fears coming true. (Literally at times sick to my stomach about it) Sleepless nights, crying, telling my wife "I don't know what we're going to do." Then Antonio came by, He seemed confident and I really liked something about his character, he didn't say a lot but I believed him and ultimately went with North Star to fix my pool. It was AMAZING the way they took a piece of crap and turned it into a diamond. I have never had service so good. I mean if you understood, this was literally a dream I thought was never going to come true that I had all but given up on. The amount of work and the quality of this job was first class second to none. I cannot praise North Star pools enough. I researched them beforehand and I even read all their one star reviews (to see what I was getting myself into right?) I mean, those reviewers were tire kickers and if you clicked them and read their other reviews they have a history of giving everyone bad reviews. So I didn't find them credible against all the other good ones. I mean it you will see for yourself as I did. Again, let me reiterate, the communication is not their strong suit and if you expect that you will probably be disappointed, but if you sign on with them, shut up, and let them do what they do, they will produce the most stunning results you could ever imagine. I am beyond grateful to Antonio and North Star Pools for the amazing quality job they did. Don't believe me? See the pics for yourself. I shed half a tear every time I walk out and see the pool I thought Id never have. Thank you Antonio, and thank you North Star Pools, for making an 8 year dream come to life. I will refer you to EVERYONE I can and for anyone reading this in need of this type of service, please do yourself a favor and look no further. Use this company for your pool.

Not only is this the most worthless pool contractor in the greater Sacramento area, he is also perhaps the least professional person I have ever dealt with in my life. I can't believe the 4.9 stars he has on Yelp. They must either be fake reviews or he likely bribes people to write them. We needed someone to replace the tiles and plaster on our wading pool. His terrible, slow and disjointed communication from the start should have been the first red flag. Finally we manage to schedule a date to remove the old tile and plaster. His team shows up late, removes the plaster and tiles, and leaves without telling me. Now the fun part....they never came back! I called and texted for 4 days with no response. When I finally texted back to say that I assumed they had abandoned the job, he texts back in 5 minutes saying that "his phone had been broken." As an added bonus, his incompetent crew damaged the structure of the pool by jack hammering the old plaster off. Now I get to pay the new contractor extra to repair that before I finally get the new plaster on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INEPT AND INCOMPETENT BUSINESS UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING HOURS OF YOUR TIME AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!

We worked with Mike during the construction portion, then transferred over to Chandler for all service issues. Our Salt Chlorinator started to malfunction just outside of our warranty. Chandler scheduled a service call the same week and was able to talk with the manufacturer to have our salt chlorinator replaced fairly quickly once the part was available. Any service issues or questions that come up, Chandler is quick to respond. Chandler also follow ups after the service was completed to verify the work was completed and is working properly.

Mike, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable. Before beginning the new installation, he took the time to identify for me all the old and unmarked water and electrical lines in the area. if there was a. better way to do something, he discussed it with me. And, when he and his worker came with the new equipment, they had it all installed in a day. The end result is so much better than what was there before. Lights, slide, jets, all work great. Best of all, I can now operate the pump, heater, timers, etc, from my phone and the app is so easy to understand. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of pool construction, repair or routine service. I feel my pool is in very good hands!

We contacted many remodelers and re-plaster companies. After our search we decided on Generation…read morePool Plastering. They are a small family owned business which I liked. Their prices were reasonable, and they did not attempt to up sale unnecessary items. Picking the surface and tile was easy thanks to the samples they had in the show room. They also provide the catalog to see other options as well. The quality of work was satisfactory. We have no complaints. Big thanks to the one guy who spent two days installing 2 new skimmers and trenching and piping about 100 ft of new pipe. That man worked extremely hard and I was impressed he did it by himself. They dont do concrete. So if you're doing concrete, make sure you have good communication between your concrete guy and them. Coordinating the two was probably the worst part of the remodel. Nobody's fault, just need to get both contractors on the same page scheduling wise. If you get dark plaster, it WILL NOT be even. They explain this and make you sign. I honestly like the variation in our darker color. But don't be surprised or upset. It happens and its just cosmetic. I waited a year to do my review and we have had no issues. Would use again, but hopefully not for another 15-20 years! Thanks Valentino and team!
