He was gracious enough to come out to the house to walk the pad with me and explain in person what was needed. I highly recommend this business! My wife and I recently bought a house with a broken pool pump. I reached out to receive a quote to replace the pump, upgrade the filter, and convert the pool to a salt cell. Kevin their Service Manager came out to inspect the existing system. He was professional and able to answer all of our questions. We were then provided a detailed quote. The owner Mike was available to discuss any questions we had and answered promptly. Derek and the install team came out the next week. They removed the old system and installed the new one, including new plumbing, in three hours. During installation, an additional problem was discovered. The team was clear in explaining the problem and offered to install the part at cost. Kevin serviced my new pool for a month. He was fantastic. Patient, extremely knowledgeable, professional...and efficient. Unfortunately, M&M does not service my area otherwise I would not make a change. I am very pleased with the service I received from M&M Pool Construction. While my pool was undergoing resurfacing and some other aesthetic upgrades by Parrott Pools (another good company), M&M replaced my 44 year-old dinosaur of a heater with a new Pentair 400,000 BTU heater. They moved my spa plumbing to a more convenient location and elevated the controls from underground to a more accessible level. They replaced the old valves with two new 3-way valves for isolation control between the pool and spa. They installed a Pentair EasyTouch automated control system programmed to control both my new heater and my pool's solar panels. They also installed a brass hose bib, so I would have the ability to drain my pool if it became overfilled by rain (which I needed recently!). Mike, Darrick and Kevin were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The installation of all equipment was completed in only one day, and the area was left clean and tidy. Lastly, they provided the essential pool startup process. The startup consisted of several visits over a period of one month by Kevin, who was patient in instructing me on the use of the EasyTouch panel and answering my many questions. Unfortunately M&M doesn't service my area because I would love to have them continue the pool service, but understand the reasons why they no longer service this area- getting over the bridge is like driving in L.A; 1 mile = 30 minutes. i used this company for cleaning and maintenance for three years. the tech involved with the pool maintenance was great. the office and accounting was awful and disorganized in their billing practices. sent me invoices from 2021 and 2022 presenting them for automated payment - when those invoices had already been paid. they never acknowledged the error. clearly they were hoping i would have paid them again without checking. i gave them a month's notice that i'd be stopping service and they stopped immediately. i only found out they stopped when i returned from vacation and mentioned i hadn't seen pool guy on my ring camera. the email exchange i had with mike made clear that service was meant to continue through july. they never let me know otherwise until i asked for some evidence they'd been coming. by then my pool sweeper (only a month old) was broken from trying to run over-filled and my basket was over-packed. it was during the heatwave so my chemistry was way off. very dishonorable people. read more

The only recommendation I have is that a representative from the contractors should be on site for the inspection. The written correction process is very slow. But that changed this week and motivated me to share our experience. We needed to have our pool drained & acid-washed. Once it was completed, my husband called to have pool service restarted. I recently purchased a home in Carmichael and the prior homeowner had provided me with her Pool guy's number insisting that I would want to keep him. After several attempts to call with no answer, I had no choice but to start looking for a new Pool Service provider as strong winds blew way too many leaves in my pool over the week and really couldn't wait any longer to get it cleaned.
