Although Jeff did a fantastic job on my pool the concrete pour was disappointing. The pewter color added is blotchy over 3500 sq feet of concrete. Jeff's response to this issue was "The blotching you were seeing does not have anything to do with the color installation. The color is part of the mix when it came out the truck so it is not as if there was "not enough" color added. Unfortunaly blotchiness and uneven color can be a negative part of concrete I'm removing two stars for the negative concrete, I definitely would not have requested color if I had known this would be the outcome. read more

Proscapes is by far the best contractor we've hired in our 50 years together. Onsite to start the work 15 days early to Start excavating for the pool on June 29, 2022 and completed prior to October 2022. On site manager Brian kept us informed every step of the way, we had to coordinate with a propane company, the builder of our shed, and many other items. There were change orders which were discussed in advance so no surprises occurred. All invoices were electronic and I was notified in advance through email that a new milestone payment was necessary or to take care of a change order. Our pool and landscaping started after many of our new neighbors and ours was one of the first completed. Every employee from Proscapes treated our property with respect and we're easy to deal with. Built a new home in Folsom and worked with Bryan at ProScape to landscape the entire property (.3 acres). Half of the yard is on a slope and a lot of granite so there were some challenges but Bryan/ProScape did a great job. Bryan is very conscientious and diligent about the end results and he's really good about responding to your texts/calls. Had my new home done 8 years ago by this company. We had some struggles during the initial work, but we got though them. Bryan was a super nice guy to work with. Problem is... time shows where quality was lacking. I've had to replace almost every plant they installed, and redo some of the stone veneer on my fireplace and BBQ island (after they did it a couple times already). Holes for plants were dug to small, drainage for potted plants wasn't done well, and seems the irrigation drip heads weren't sized right for the needs of some of the plants. Not to mention that most of the plants / trees that have not been replaced were so unhealthy when planted they've hardly grown at all compared to other similar plants / trees in the neighborhood that were sunk in the ground around the same time. I have plants that I put in myself three or four years after the Proscapes work was done that have surpassed the growth of what they provided. Im on the fence with replacing my trees at this point to get one's that will actually grow and be healthy. Point to be made here is I'd recommend doing your homework before jumping in with these guys. If you do decide to go with them... I strongly recommend you insist on where they buy the plants from and that they use a qualified mason to do any stone work. Nice people... mediocre quality that you won't realize until they're well long gone... so only 3 stars. read more

I recently had ProScapes complete a significant landscaping project for my wife and I in our backyard. It includes a full patio, Jacuzzi area, a retaining wall, a half-court basketball area, three raised gardens, an orchard with 9 fruit trees, an elegant fountain area and much more. We recently purchased the house and it sits on a 1/2 acre lot. Since the house was relatively new, the previous owners never did the backyard. Anyhow, ProScapes did an excellent job from start to finish. It has been about five months since they completed it and we have not had any issues. Even though we had a blueprint complete by an independent landscape designer, ProScapes did make a few suggestions throughout the project that added a lot of value to the completed project. We also received a total of five bids with ProScapes being about in the middle for costs. I highly recommend them for your landscaping job. They are honest and hard working. read more
