Initial communication via email and phone was great. Designer showed up on time and discussed plans with me for about 90 minutes. All was well and I was told I would receive an estimate in about a week. 4 weeks passed and I followed up with Nate. He said designer should have sent proposal already and would email the designer to ask why I hadn't. Never heard back. I followed up one more time and got no response. I thoroughly checked my spam folders to make sure I didn't miss anything but no such luck. Im disappointed in the experience and wasted time. read more

Brandon, Amanda, and their crew did a fantastic job with our backyard. Brandon is truly gifted when it comes to design. He worked with us very patiently and you can tell that he views every project as an opportunity to dream up something new - I.e., he doesn't just apply a cookie-cutter design to every backyard based on budget. He really cares and demonstrated that throughout the design/construction process. He does have his own unique "style" when it comes to materials and we were very impressed. Personally, I haven't found another contractor in the area who puts out a product that looks as high-quality as Brandon's does. Amanda kept everything smooth on the backend and was consistently checking in with us to make sure things were going well. We ended up splurging on some pavers and it was the best choice we could've made. They're really stunning and add such a premium look to our backyard. That along with sod, rock, mulch, some concrete for our side yard, and a really nice plant selection mostly curated by Brandon. Reliable will be our first contact for any future landscaping needs and we would recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

After several consultations and estimates from many different landscape companies my wife and I chose to go with Brandon and his crew at Reliable and couldn't be happier with the results. We had been sitting on a landscape design and needed someone to bring the vision to reality. Brandon immediately translated our plan into his software so we could discuss options and take on suggestions for improvement. He was quick and precise in making adjustments to appease our HOA and fit within our budget. The crew was meticulous in their work on the yard. If it was on the plan it was replicated in the yard. If we saw something that needed a slight adjustment they were happy to accommodate. I recall a situation where we needed a concrete walkway to go wider around an AC unit. The crew quickly responded by forming a wider path. Nate was great at scheduling project dates and also helped to make sure our AC units were reinstalled in a timely manner after our concrete was poured. We were relieved to have them up and running again before a forecasted heat wave arrived. Brandon was there at every stage of the project and was always quick to respond. He was at the nursery with us when it came time to choose the plants, making suggestions for plants that best fit our specific environment. During the middle of construction a rain storm hit our area and we had some concerns about how the yard would handle it in an unfinished state. He came out late at night to make sure the drainage would be okay until the storm passed. Upon completion of the project he was there to make sure everything was tidied up after the final walkthrough. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation on a yard install or remodel I would surely tell them to call Reliable Landscape and Design. read more

Reliable Landscaping? This company is the furthest thing from reliable. I completely regret choosing this company and trusting them with a major project. We signed a $67,000 landscaping contract with this company in March. While we understood the initial weather-related delays, the way our project was handled afterward was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On our scheduled project start date (May 26th) no one showed up and we received no phone call, email, or update. After taking time off work to be home for the project, we had to call the company ourselves, only to be met with confusion and surprise, as if they were unaware our project was even scheduled to begin. They then scrambled to contact employees and send someone out later that day for a "walk through." This is something that should have been completed well before the scheduled start date. We were then assured work would begin the following morning at 8:00 AM. By 10:00 AM, no one had arrived and again we had received no communication. When we called for answers, an employee told us the owner and our project advisor should have already been at our house to speak with us. That had never happened. When we calmly expressed our concerns about the repeated lack of communication, the no call/no show, and the fact that we had now missed multiple days of work for nothing, the owner, Brandon, immediately responded by asking if we wanted to cancel the project. We explained that cancellation was not our goal. We simply wanted accountability, communication, and follow-through. Brandon then stated, "I don't like the tone you have. I've been in the landscaping business since the 90s. I have 9 other projects going on and I don't like your tone, so we can just go ahead and cancel this project." At no point were we disrespectful. We were frustrated customers trying to understand why a major project had been mishandled from the start. For a company handling projects of this size and cost, we expected professionalism, communication, and BASIC reliability. Unfortunately, our experience has been the exact opposite. I do not recommend doing business with this company. read more

Brandon and the team at Reliable Landscape were amazing to work with. We got quite a few bids for our backyard project, but what won RLS the business was their knowledge and vision. We came to them with an idea in mind but because of their expertise and experience they actually counseled us away from it (admittedly, because our idea wasn't a good one and would have cost us much more money in the end!). Instead, they delivered a product which was infinitely better, more durable and cost-effective. As Brandon walked the property with us he patiently and expertly walked us through a grander vision than we could have come up with on our own and we're excited to continue to work with him in the future to build our dream patio and landscape. Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

Nate, didn't show up on site to provide me a quote. He said he never received a confirmation email, even though I have sent the confirmation email two days before the scheduled appointment. As far as I know emails don't disappear in thin air read more

Our experience with Reliable was great. First time home owners and first time having to design our front yard and back yard and they really helped us make our dream yard a reality. It was pretty special to see it all come together. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to design their yards. They really listen to what you want and help make it come to life. read more

Reliable landscaping was the third landscaper we had come out to our house to try and help us realize our vision for our front and backyard. My wife and I were disillusioned by the previous two landscapers that did work at our home and didn't really listen to what we wanted and did not do good work. Luckily, third time is the charm! We hired Reliable Landscaping to fix grading and drainage, which was not done properly in with our previous landscapers. We also hired Reliable Landscaping to add pavers, lighting, plants, trees, and turf to our front and backyards. Brandon helped us design our project and went with us to Green Acres to pick out the plants for our front and back yard, which was really important to us, since we did not know what plants we wanted. Brandon provided value by recommending plants based on our preferences for maintenance and colors, while considering where the plants would be and the level of sun exposure they would receive. Our project just wrapped up this week, May 13, 2024. The whole process felt very inclusive every step of the way, from design, product selection, and adjustments. Brandon was very responsive throughout the entire project from design to delivery. His team was very thorough and did an excellent job on our backyard and front yard. I would not hesitate to recommend Brandon and Reliable Landscaping to anybody needing landscaping done! read more

I'm very satisfied with the front yard renovation that Reliable Landscape designed and built for me. The project consisted of better defining both sides of the entry to my driveway with large boulders, building a retaining wall and stone steps that leads up a hill to our Oak tree and a natural patio area for a bench at the top of the steps and under the Oak tree. The result exceeded my expectations. I've worked with several landscape companies over the years for a variety of projects, but this was the best experience I had from start to finish. Brandon really took the time to listen and understand my vision for the project and provided me with an excellent design that fit my budget. He provided an excellent design package for submittal to the HOA which made the approval process very easy, and remained highly engaged throughout the build process, making adjustments as necessary and immediately handling any issues that cropped up. read more

It was a pleasure to work with Brandon on the transformation of our backyard. We purchased a new construction lot with which they give you no landscaping whatsoever in the backyard. This was a blank canvas to work with. We interviewed many landscape designers and chose Brandon for his years of experience in both landscape design and construction. This blend of experience gives him the well rounded insight to know what ideas will work in your yard. Brandon iterated on our design many times to get us the best backyard for the budget we gave him. Each design session was an interactive zoom. He was transparent in the tradeoffs both visually and in price between the options we considered. We appreciated Brandon's ability to give us 3D walkthroughs of each design rendered against our actual lot. We loved sharing these renderings with our friends and families. Brandon's landscaping crew are masters of their craft. They took my blank page of a yard and made the design a reality. It's truly impressive how skilled they are. Brandon's expertise extend beyond design. When it was time to pick plants, Brandon took us to a local nursery and was instrumental in picking the right kinds of plants, shrubs, and trees that would compliment our yard and look good year round. When setting the budget for your design, set aside 15% of your project budget to account for any unforeseen changes that come up during the construction of your yard. See the before and after photos. I wholeheartedly recommend Reliable landscapes and design with Brandon at the helm. read more

It was surprisingly so difficult to find a landscaper that would respond to us with a call back and even to come out to give us a bid and the ones that did was horrible at communication. Luckily we came across Reliable Landscaping And Design. Brandon and Amanda was wonderful to work with. They put in landscaping in both our front and backyard. Communication is huge to us and making sure we get our project done in a timely matter and they delivered. They put together a design and bid for us quickly and once we signed they were on it. Everyone with Reliable Landscaping and Design was so amazing to work with. Brandon immediately caught my vision, which I had actually lost a long time ago, thinking it would never happen. He was so easy to work with. I loved the designs he incorporated with some of my ideas. He worked with me every step of the way and made the project fun. Amanda was so friendly and such a joy to work with. I actually felt like I made new friends in the month or so we worked together. The crew was amazing. They worked so hard from sun up to sun down. My large yard, which was all moss and full of roots had to be dug up. I couldn't believe how hard Temo worked to dig up all those roots. And at the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the dirt, gravel, etc. that was on the patio, walkways, driveway and street and put all their tools together before they left. Max, the foreman, was very responsive to have the guys make any little change I asked for and spent time with me explaining how the irrigation system worked. He also assured me that if I had any questions or needed help with anything after they were done they would be there for me. I have worked with many companies and contractors with my job and personally, and I have never worked with a business that was this great to work with in every aspect, from design to the completed work. They were very professional, but very personal and made the project exciting and fun. I highly recommend Reliable Landscaping and Design! read more

Brandon's "Reliable Landscaping and Design" has been a company that stands up to it's name. We were so fortunate to have a friend recommend them for the perfect choice to landscape, renovate, and create our new front yard. We are so happy with the results of our beautiful yard. We would highly recommend this company and hope u consider them as the perfect choice for your landscaping needs. read more

We had a great experience working with the team! My favorite things: they explained their process, were transparent and incredibly responsive! Brandon was flexible and worked around our crazy schedules. He listened to our wants/concerns throughout the project: the design process (as we made several changes), selection of plants and the walkthroughs. He was always on time and personable in meetings. He used landscaping software and sent video walkthroughs of each design change YouTube, which was an awesome help to visualize the design concept. The project was to redo our front and side landscaping. They kept the features we wanted, like the stairs, and demoed everything else. He showed us samples of everything, went with us to pick out plants and give his experience and knowledge. And he did everyone he could to stay in our original budget as we kept adding things to the design. We went over, but only because we added the grass and more plants than we originally thought. read more

We needed our backyard 'refreshed' for a planned get together. Given the tight schedule to get the job done, Amanda at Reliable Landscaping and Design came through wonderfully to bring our vision for the backyard to life. While their quote was comparable to another bid we had, their level of service, in just the bidding process alone, was superior. Their superior work and customer service carried all the way through to the completion of our project with Amanda providing exactly what we were trying to accomplish. She took the time to thoroughly understand our goal for the backyard, created a CAD drawing showing the desired result, met us at the respected suppliers to select materials and then their crew brought the plan to life. We are very satisfied with the results and will call upon Reliable for our next project. Amanda was a complete joy to work with along this entire project. We were faced with a daunting drainage issue at our home that was created by someone we hired to put in sod in our backyard. There was water puddling up against the foundation for many winters and we spending a lot on those quick dam flood barriers that had to be replaced annually. It was time to reach out to a company that knows how to deal with this water problem. We found out about Reliable Landscape and Design thru a friend that is a realtor that had firsthand experience working with them. Brandon came out and assessed the situation and quickly came up with an overall plan to solve the drainage dilemma. From the beginning of the project and up until completion, my wife and I were treated with respect. Brandon, Amanda and crew are consummate professionals. They went above and beyond in all aspects and made sure we were happy with the outcome. They are an honest company that I highly recommend and live up to the name: "Reliable!" read more

For my project I gave a detailed description of what I needed done and the size of the area. I then asked if there was a minimum. Then a guy called and started asking me for my personal info. I said wait, first is there a minimum? He said yes $10,000. So I said I described in detail my project, and there is no way that it would even meet the 10,000 threshold. And I also inquired if there was a minimum with no response to that question. So after all of that, the guy is still calling me to waste my time. This is the type of business that doesn't listen to the customer. I would not recommend them. read more

We wanted a low maintenance front yard and a place to entertain and relax in our backyard. The service we got from Amanda, Brandon, and their crew was excellent! Brandon was able to turn our vision into a reality and gave us suggestions to elevate and tie our design elements together while working within our budget. Never thought we'd be so excited about pavers but the craftsmanship was top notch, especially near our pool area. It's actually our favorite element of all the work that was done. When it came to landscaping, I wanted some native plants that we had previously in our landscape. Brandon's suggestions gave the planting palette more depth and textures to make it even more beautiful. I can't wait for the plants to get bigger! We definitely got a show stopper of a property with neighbors wanting tours of what was done in our backyard. They also go beyond with making sure all our gates worked properly since elevations changed. My husband and I were thinking of simple changes to the gates to make them functional again, but they made it better than we'd hope for. Thank you for delivering an attractive and relaxing place for our family to enjoy for many years to come. read more

We absolutely love our new front yard landscape designed and constructed by Reliable Landscaping. When Brandon arrived for our first discussion, he listened to our ideas, our requirements, and assessed the architectural aspects of our home. We threw him some challenges to accommodate a "toy" storage space too. He then delivered us a great design rendering within 2 weeks. The rendering showed us, using a video walkthrough, what he had in mind. It was nearly perfect with the first time ... a few tweaks here and there and we were excited to sign the contract for construction. Along the way we were kept informed of all aspects of the construction on a daily (sometimes twice daily) basis. From initial groundbreaking to final walkthrough of the completed project, he and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The results are beautiful and the envy of the neighborhood.
