We are so grateful to Nature's Harmony, especially Richard and his crew. We have a beautiful backyard garden that we needed some help sprucing up, filled with many flowers, herbs, fruit trees and ornamental plants. We were planning on putting our house on the market, and wanted to work with a team that would do our garden justice. Richard responded to our call very promptly, and came by to give us an estimate. He was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. It was wonderful that he wasn't at all intimidated by our lovely, but somewhat overgrown garden. He knew exactly what we wanted, it was so easy and a pleasure to show him our garden. He gave us a great estimate, and assured us that the pruning we needed would be done to our specifications. In the pruning of our trees, shrubs, and vines, they were mindful to discuss with us in advance how much to cut back in order to keep the plants happy, the flowers blooming, and the fruits available in the timeframe we were working with. Richard is detailed, a great listener, and we felt we could trust him completely. About two weeks later, we had some back and forth, and Nature's Harmony was able to complete everything we asked, and even more! For example, they noticed that our hanging baskets in front of the house was not on our drip system- and they just put it in for us, without us needing to make another specific request. They totally went above and beyond and made our garden and front look beautiful and polished. As home sales go, of course, through the course of a month, we kept having additional requests of Richard's crew, and each time, he responded with professionalism and kindness. We decided to relocate so that our home would be staged and cleaned up, to put it's best foot forward. We knew we could rely on Nature's Harmony to do a great job, even without us there. Richard woud keep us updated on anything that was relevant. We were so appreciative to have such a responsive, professional, kind, and knowledgeable team to rely on! On one occasion, we requested specific weeding on an area of our garden for the listing pictures, Richard responded that he could get around to doing it on the following Tuesday. On Wednesday, Richard called and apologized that something came up and his team was unable to complete the job on Tuesday, would it be alright if they came by today to finish it? That really gave us trust in Nature's Harmony. So many vendors fail to complete things on time, and they're full of excuses, Richard simply apologized and tried to work with us to find the best possible alternative. We appreciated his apology and honesty so much; in these times after COVID, we've all come to appreciate how things don't always work out perfectly on time, but wow, the results of Nature's Harmony's work speaks to the care and dedication they bring to every project, every task. We sold our house, and our garden was a major feature. It would not have been possible without the beautiful and dedicated work Nature's Harmony brought. We had Nature's Harmony excavate our backyard and install a large section of DG. After getting multiple estimates, we decided to go with them are are so happy we did. While most other landscapers only wanted to work with us if we had them do an entire project costing upwards of $10,000, Richard was willing to do the work we needed help with and let me do the mulching and planting since I've recently gotten into gardening and was also working on a tight budget. Richard was so patient and made three separate trips to our house before we hired them because I kept changing the design of the project. Communication was seamless and he responded promptly to all my questions. The crew worked hard and efficiently to get the job done and were thorough cleaning up afterwards. The Nature's Harmony team was superb in helping us implement our vision of a front yard without the headaches and high water consumption of a traditional lawn. We had previously hired the team in 2022 to help with a backyard clear-out and heavy pruning of numerous overgrown shrubs in our new house (after seeing the transformative work they did on our neighbor's front yard). After a lot of research and planning, we came up with a design that incorporated a lighted new walking path to the front door, free trees from the Sacramento Tree Foundation, pollinator friendly drought tolerant plantings, a small sitting area, and a colorful, textured palette complimented by a dry creek bed and small mounds. We showed Richard our design and were relieved to learn he could help us think through the final pieces of the design/implementation and fit us into their schedule. His knowledge and personal insights we truly valued. Each day from sunrise onward, the Nature's Harmony team worked steadfastly with a tireless work ethic! Regeither Richard or Francisco checked in about the project status, and we often brainstormed together when changes were needed at various stages. Team members Francisco and Mel daily displayed their amazing strength, stamina, professionalism, and versatility. After two weeks (on schedule!) we had a front yard that went beyond our vision, and paid a final invoice that was fair and well-deserved (Cost-wise, we saved a little by shopping for plants ourselves at several sites in the region). Richard and his crew (his family) did a great job with my backyard project. I wanted to redo my entire backyard DIY but didn't want to demo work myself. We set a date and they got to work, grinding out all my old tree stumps, cut out and hauled out my lawn, and moved loads of rocks around my yard and then regraded everything. It was done a day faster than projected, they pressure washed everything and basically reset my disaster of a yard to square one. Wow WOW! initially my appointment was supposed to be on Monday but they had a cancellation on Friday the week prior and asked me if I wanted to be seen early which was perfect! They showed up on time firstly, which as we are so far out here, was super amazing. They fixed our sprinkler system which had some leaks and a broken irrigation valves and ran a new low voltage wire to our timer and set our timers for us. Installed 3 new sprinklers and lowered some that were missing the center of our lawn. They did a great job and even walked me through all of it after step by step! They addressed my needs and even made suggestions about things I was not sure about. We just moved into our house so I tried to mow the grass and cut around the areas that they would be working but I forgot to go around my planter boxes near my drip lines. Not only did they cut near the lines but they cleared up the whole area around them and made it look great. Last minute they even added a gutter cleaning to the job! The area they dug up was almost completely undisturbed and still looks nice and even. On top of that I had been doing yard work the other day and had two piles of leaves in my yard that were not in the area they were working and they cleaned them up for me!!! Their prices are reasonable for repairs and I also asked about their lawn service. If I am not able to keep up on my yard when I start back at work I will definitely be enlisting them. We hired Nature's Harmony to plant 15+ fern pines and a couple of baby spruce trees in our backyard and give our plain backyard some color. We love the way it turned out! They did a great job with the trees and hooked them up to an existing drip line hose. The ground in Elk Grove is so hard, like clay and cement in some points. They have the tools and manpower to make the holes for the trees saving us body aches, time and energy. The crew finished the project in 2 days and cleaned up the area really well, I was very impressed. When we met Richard, he was friendly, informative and easy to talk to and had great suggestions. Richard effectively melded my objectives with his unique vision for the front yard to produce a design that effectively blended with existing terrain and neighborhood aesthetics.
