Turns out they have been in business for 20 years and this family owned business didn't use social media and their business was word of mouth. Daniel came out right away and gave us a very fair quote in person and via email and we accepted. We are so glad we did as they put us on the schedule very quickly and literally did Top Notch work! This was a great experience and we will use them again for our future concrete needs. Highly recommend!

Several years ago, Jose transformed both our front and backyard, and we still receive compliments on his craftsmanship. He built our beautiful handmade brick garden wall in the front yard, created stamped concrete stairs and walkways, extended our driveway, planted all of our roses, built our backyard brick fire pit, and even constructed the brick foundation for our water fountain. His attention to detail and quality of work really made our home stand out. Throughout the entire project, Jose was kind, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He took pride in his work and always treated our home with respect. Over the years, normal settling has caused a few areas of brickwork to need attention, but that doesn't change how much we appreciated the quality of the original project or our experience working with him. We would gladly recommend Cruz Landscaping to anyone looking for beautiful hardscape and landscaping done by someone who truly cares about his work. Thank you again, Cruz, for helping create a yard that our family has enjoyed for years.

I had my backyard completely redone with this company in 2020. I had a patio awning installed. They…read morehad it permitted through the city and inspected. It passed. Just two years later we started noticing that the window directly under the awning was leaking during severe weather. (So once or twice a winter) it has been a nightmare ever since. I called Salens to have them come inspect. They did not come out. They gave me the number of the company who did the awning. My husband and I both reached out to them to NO RESPONSE. At that point I felt like I wasn't going to get help from Salens or this other company. I reached out to several awing companies and explained the issues I was having, to see if they would come inspect the work. To no surprise very few people felt comfortable inspecting work that wasn't theirs. I found someone who did come out, pulled back flashing, recaulked, and sealed some cracks around the area. This helped initially but the leaking came back. I had a leak detection company come out and they couldn't replicate the leak. At this point my option is to pull the awning down and throw 6,000 down the drain or cut a whole inside my home in the drywall to see where it's leaking. Pulling the awning down will require me to completely resucco the backside of my home. Theres no visible damage from the leaking. Our Insurance company couldn't find the source and declared it wasn't from a storm. I called Salens back because I really wanted to speak to the owner about this and I left a message with another staff member. It's been two weeks with no call back. All of this to say I would vet the subcontractors this company uses. I also would not recommend drilling into stucco !

However, when rainfall came, I noticed considerable amount of water ponded on the surface of the concrete and it did not drain. Turns out, the concrete was not sloped at all in some areas and less than 2% in other areas =( I brought this to Walter's attention and he said he would fix it by installing an overlay.
