Julio and his team are outstanding. They made an incredible gate for us, super high quality. The team was always on time, friendly and quick. Julio was communicative throughout the process and reliable. He was open to our suggestions and worked around our schedule to ensure the project happened in a timeframe that was good for us and didn't interfere with other things that were happening. Highly recommend you consider Fence Bldr if you are in the market for their services. We will definitely use them again! read more

We looked at several fence builders in the area and interviewed more than five companies before making our decision. Fence Bldr stood out as the clear choice, and they exceeded our expectations from start to finish. They were fast, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. Everything they quoted was accurate, there were no surprise costs, and the project was completed on time. They even added a few thoughtful extras we hadn't discussed, like making it easier to open our gate from both the inside and the outside. A new fence is a major investment, so choosing the right company really matters. The difference between a great experience and a frustrating one often comes down to the people you hire. We honestly couldn't be happier with the results. Fence Bldr did an outstanding job, and we recommend them without hesitation. read more

We had several contractors come out to give us a quote for our fencing job. Julio of Fence Bldr stood out - he was able to identify several solutions to our fencing problem that other companies did not. There were multiple ways to approach our fencing need, but Julio came up with the best solution that none of the other contractors even thought of. The result is not just astehitically pleasing but also is going to last longer than any of the other options provided by other contractors. Julio was easy to work with, always took my call if I had a question and his crew worked long days to get the job done without cutting corners. Save yourself some time and go with Fence Bldr. Highly recommended. read more

Update: I happened to be near my open front door and overheard from a couple walking by: "Wow! That is a beautiful fence". They then backed up on their walk to get a better look and discussed the gates and how they probably worked. We could not be happier with the work done by Julio and his team! read more

I appreciate the professionalism provided by Julio and his team. His team was on time, worked diligently, and did a thorough job cleaning up. I had fence bldr put in metal framed gates on my property. I went with them because I wanted gates that will last me a long time, and I'm now more convinced than ever that they will. The workmanship really showed through tight tolerances and how light and smooth my double 8.5 feet wide fence opens and closes. Fence bldr brings a lot of value because I got a lot of quality for a fair price. read more

Where do I start? The best place would be to say, no need to finish reading this review. You are in good hands. We are so glad that we chose Fence BLDR to complete this project. Julio and his team (I wish I had gotten all of his team members' names individually because they are all rockstars) were extremely professional, on time, and left our backyard cleaner than when they started. Being that I work from home, I was able to watch some of the process from a distance, and it was extremely impressive to see the level of detail and care that the team has, from keeping the fence perfectly level to working around in ground rocks and everything in between. Our fence is phenomenal, to say the least. I will add photos to my review, but my favorite piece was the custom metal and wood gate. It is so smooth, sturdy, and the best part was getting to see the fence door crafted and welded live. Our fence went from a rotted, falling apart fence to a beautiful fence with a luxury vibe. All of this is to say that when we need more work done, we will not be looking anywhere else. I highly recommend Fence BLDR to anyone in the Auburn, CA area or neighboring towns. Go with them and know that you are going to get quality work that is worth every penny and more than what you see on the invoice. Thank you to Julio and every member of the team who helped make this possible! read more

Julio and his team went above and beyond for our fence project. We were redoing a fence with two of our neighbors. Julio had a flexible schedule and had great communication and understanding as we figured out logistics between the three parties. The crew was punctual (not common of contractors in our experience), extremely professional, very respectful of us and the properties, and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. Not only that, but the work product was absolutely impeccable and for a reasonable price. There should be no second guessing when it comes to Fence Bldr. If you're not convinced by this point in my review, the before and after photos of the work will be the kicker. As us and our neighbor stated referring to the fence's perfection, "this fence looks like ChatGPT." read more

Fence bldr and Julio are the absolute BEST. Since the completion of the 5 ft hogwire fence surrounding our front yard, we have had at least 5 people stop and compliment it and ask for the companies name. Truly, one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Julio is a very proud and thorough business owner who clearly takes pride in his work and craftsmanship. Julio came out more than once to walk the job without before we started. He would come and check on it every day and even had his team re-do some parts he wasn't happy with. After completion, he sent someone back out to re-secure a loose piece. His company is the only fence company I will ever use again and I will recommend him to anyone looking to build a fence. read more

Fence Bldr exceeded my expectations! Julio was professional, responsive, and took time to explain all my options clearly. He provided a detailed written estimate with pricing for each option and communicated well throughout the process. The price was reasonable and competitive. The crew arrived on time and as scheduled. Their workmanship was EXCELLENT. They installed 10-ft steel fence posts set 3 ft deep in the ground instead of 8-foot posts, giving the fence extra strength and durability. They cleaned up thoroughly after the job was finished. Will contract them for more projects; highly recommend. read more

Beyond Excellent Service and Craftsmanship and Value! I'm usually a big DIY person, but our fence project was way beyond what I could handle. The fence needed to wrap around curves, steps, a retaining wall, and even flow around our pool to keep our little ones out. Things I would never have been able to bend or align properly. Julio and his team at Fence Bldr absolutely nailed it. Every single curve and elevation change was matched perfectly, and the end result looks incredible. Julio impressed me from the start! He came out right away to give us an estimate and even managed to fit us into his schedule earlier than expected when another job finished sooner. He knew how important it was to us to have it so our kids could play safely in the back yard as soon as possible this summer. His team worked extra long hours, on some of the hottest days, just to make sure the job was finished right and on time. Before this fence, we couldn't even let our two toddlers play in the backyard safely because of the open retaining wall, steps, and pool. Now we have not only safety, but a backyard that looks beautiful thanks to the amazing craftsmanship and detail work Julio and his crew put into every bend and curve. Even on the tricky curved stairs down to the pool. We are forever grateful for the hard work and skill Julio and his team brought to this project. If you're looking for a fence builder who goes above and beyond, with true craftsmanship and integrity, look no further than Fence Bldr! read more

Julio is one of my most trusted contractors. I am a Realtor and I met him after interviewing multiple fence contractors for my rental on East Sac. We hired Julio's team at Fence Bldr to rebuild our front RV gate, rebuild our front fence and add a gate, and repair another gate that collapsed during a wind storm. The team came to perform the bid and everyone was professional, respectful and hardworking. The team worked together in a collaborative and efficient manner. They cleaned up well after themselves and were mindful of leaving construction debris in my garden with I greatly appreciate. The fence came out beautifully, with a solid redwood construction, metal posts and a very sturdy gate. We had it stained as well. I was happy to note the team disposed of flammable stain rags mindfully. These guys know what they are doing. We are impressed with the quality. The value was superior to other estimates we received, and with higher quality materials and more features. We look forward to hiring Fence Bldr for some future hardscaping projects we have planned. Highly recommended. read more

Julio at Fence Bldr is great. Out of the bids we got to do our backyard and gates, they were right in the middle, but what sold us was you could tell that he was very professional and clear understanding what we were looking for. Not sure what else to said except that if you are wanting a well constructed fence and gates these guys are the ones to call. Thanks you and all of your crew. read more

I went with Julio and Fence Bldr to add a fence on my side yard to extend my living space as well as to give me added security. I needed them to build a custom fence to match one that is original to the property. I could not be more pleased.
