One of the best companies I've hired. High quality work. Great experience from top to bottom. Small team of experienced, professional real humans. No drama, no surprises. After a prompt initial visit and estimate, Steve, Hannah and their team weathered multiple revisions, delays, and changes in direction from yours truly over next few months. All of this plus a bunch of custom detail requests on a comparatively small fence job. No grumpiness from them. In fact, Steve handled all this so serenely I thought maybe some of it wasn't registering. Nope: the team perfectly executed every detail I asked for, in nary a day. The final product is gorgeous, and we couldn't be happier. Hire these folks. You will not regret it. read more

Showed up to my house on time for a quote which I appreciate. Some of the other fence companies gave me a four to five hour window and just expected me to wait around all day. Two guys came with a big truck. Knocked it out in a day. Price was exactly what was on the quote. No surprise or try to up sale me etc. Fence looks great. I would do business with them again. read more

The team at Legacy Fence was very responsive and communicated well on all aspects of the job from coordinating getting a quote to getting the job done. Our project was booked and completed in a timely manner. Ron and his crew was able to knock out our fence in a single day. They did a great job on the fence and talked with me about options and potential adjustments that were specific to our project. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves too. I would absolutely use Legacy Fence again in the future! The price was right as well! read more

Steve responded quickly to my initial estimate request and after a quick visit quoted me such an incredible deal compared to everyone else in town on a 90-foot fence that I thought there must be something sketchy at first. But after patiently confirming everything for me over several messages, he sent a crew out in just a few weeks and I was more impressed than I thought possible with the high quality of the work, especially when considering how their bid blew everyone else's out of the water. Ron, Nolan, and Skyler were super friendly, efficient, and did an amazing job on the fence. They were super helpful and patient with my little questions and requests about things, and helped me remove and cover à pipe from a neighbor's shed intruding jnto the fence area and chopped off a bunch of bigger overhanging branches I couldn't get. Really appreciate the great work, awesome value and friendly, reliable service. I will definitely hire Legacy any time I need any more fencing help! read more

Great price, great materials, great installation team. Also, best price out of the three companies I interviewed. Recommended.

We had Steve and the team at Legacy Fence build a huge part of our fence that came down a couple years ago when all those crazy storms knocked it down. The service and communication was excellent, and so was the value. Not only that, but recently we had a small issue with our gate (from my son slamming it all the time) and they came out and fixed it at no charge! I was so impressed and grateful, it really shows how much their value their customers. You can't go wrong with them! read more

This is the second time we have used Legacy Fence. They just completed a 50 feet long fence with two separate gates for our property and our next door neighbors. Excellent work, really good value, I would heartily recommend this company for your project. read more

Fantastic job. They do such great work and for a price that you can't beat anywhere. They are super quick because they know their trade very well. They have a family operation and longer term employees so you know they take care of their workers. Definitely go with these guys. read more

Legacy Fence replaced 3/4 of our fencing in 2024 at our request. They did a wonderful job, so when we were ready to complete the remainder of the fencing project in 2026, we called on Legacy again. Steve was prompt with a quote that was very reasonable, and the work was completed on 8/4/26. I was really happy to see the same workman on this job as two years ago! He did an awesome job with tough areas to work around (trees, wrought iron railing, etc.). Because we have an in-ground pool, the job had to be completed in one day, and it was, even though it was 105 degrees! I would recommend Legacy Fence to anyone for craftsmanship and price! read more

Had Legacy Fence come out for a fence replacement project. They had some of the best pricing. The day of the install, Ron was out right when they estimated the start time and they worked all day til it was completed. I was very happy with the work, as was my neighbor. Definitely would use them again on future fencing projects. read more

This review is a little late because after the initial fence work was done in October, I changed my mind and decided to have Steve and his crew come back out and add a lattice to the top. I was trying to block new construction that is going in behind me. Anyway, the fence came out beautifully and the work was done very quickly. The old fencing was hauled away and the yard was left spotless. I would have no reservations recommending Legacy Fencing to any of my friends. Great job! read more

First off, I rarely waste my time to leave reviews. But this company deserves props. Best price around and great craftsmanship. Board on board high quality redwood fence with top cap and gates with black heavy duty hardware. I'm very impressed. I will definitely use and refer Legacy Fence for all my future fence projects. You will not find a better company anywhere in Sac. Great down to earth customer service and very pleasant. Humble hard working group of guys. This is rare to find nowadays. So many companies are full of themselves and think their work is the best so they wanna overcharge. Thanks Steve, u da man! read more

Great job at s reasonable price. Highly recommend if you need any fence work done. Referred by a friend and he was spot on

Great job on my Dad's fence. And affordable! And nice owner and employees. And reliable.

This is the worst fence job I have ever seen. The fence is is leaning, crooked, and not level with almost a foot incline over the 32 foot length. They moved the good neighbor fence almost a foot over the property line and completely destroyed my landscaping by chopping up my plants. Total waste of money. read more

Steve, owner, is great. Helped with neighbors that had to agree to split the cost. Very good quality work and was still the lowest bid of three companies. I would never try a different fence company. read more

I've hired Legacy Fence 2 times now to replace 2 separate fences and they have done an amazing job! I have ZERO complaints. They were quick to get me a quote, and I mean quick. They gave it to me right after they were done measuring and asking a few questions. The craftsmanship they did was above and beyond what I was expecting. For instance as a dog owner, the gate is very important. I want to make sure my dog can't get out and 90% of the time when dogs do get out, it's because the gate was left open or didn't latch all the way. Not this time doggy! The gate not only looks amazing and looks as if it would take a ram to break it down, it's also so smooth and easy as possible to open and close. No cussing under your breath trying to shake the door while you reach over blindly trying to open it. Latches every time keeping the dogs safe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEGACY FENCE! read more

Showed up before appointment time. Told to drive around back just to see the area for fencing then return to front door to meet with owner. He remained in the back lot & the Legacy office had to be called to get him to come to the door. I am disabled & cannot maneuver to the back. When he finally returned to the door after 40 minutes, the discussion did not go well. All other bidders were very professional & polite. I would never recommend Legacy with so many other great options. read more

I highly recommend Legacy Fence. Steve and his installation crew were very professional. They replaced the shared fence between properties, a gate and added a spot for our trash cans. They took down and disposed of the old fence. Great communication and a quality job. They do require payment at the end of the job and do charge a fee if you use a card for payment, but all of this was explained at quoting time. read more
