They are a talented, creative, energetic, and ethical team!!! They and their crew take immense pride in their work and really seem to enjoy what they do. We had some ideas of what we wanted, and they translated it into the backyard of our dreams! It came out even better than we could have imagined!!! They lead with a positive and respectful manner which results in their crew also taking great pride in their work. Their leadership motivated their team to create a beautiful backyard. Gustavo and his crew were on time and worked hard even though it was over 100 degrees on many days!!! When they finished their work for the day, they removed any trash that they could. They started with a completely barren piece of land and installed irrigation, plants, trees, small grassy area (for our dog), uplighting, patio, sidewalks and built gorgeous stone planter boxes with a waterfall for a center piece!!! It is wonderful to sit out back reading and listening to the calming sounds of our waterfall. If our day is stressful, this is the place we go to rejuvenate. We let Ariel and Gustavo know that they are welcome to bring potential new clients to see our backyard. Please come check it out!!! What you see will not disappoint!!!

I was ready to…read moreask for a full refund but John stepped in and offered to redo the patio for free which is why I added a star- took weeks but it did get done. In the end, the project took 6 weeks. For a simple patio, a small dog run and a rock weed barrier. Lucy tried to sneak fees in and without my approval, had her workers rip out 2 of my bushes. After complaining, they replanted them days later but the plants did not survive. They also damaged my drip system (they did fix it after I brought to their attention) also, the workers left trash in the yard. John was kind and understanding but I will continue to tell my neighbors to stay away from them.

I do not recommend Shear Perfection Landscape…read more We had similar experiences to others' poor reviews on here. One specific issue I wanted to note below: Here is what the contract said: "Fix and move existing irrigation in the backyard to new shape of lawn." When they put in new irrigation, they chose to bury an old sprinkler. The old sprinkler is now leaking. Why didn't they just FIX AND MOVE the old sprinkler like the contract said? Owner danced around this question, and they won't repair it. Now I will have to pay a new company to repair it. There were some other questionable events, but I will be respectful and not go into them. I DO NOT recommend using Shear Perfection Landscape.

I am thrilled with the work that Shear Perfection Landscaping did on both my front and back yard!…read more After meeting and being impressed by Andrea, their admin, at a recent Home and Garden show, I scheduled a consultation with Chad, the owner. Chad was friendly, professional, had exceptional working knowledge, explained things perfectly, and listened to my goals (so important!). He immediately understood what I wanted to do with both yards, offering wonderful suggestions based on his years of experience. The quote I received was great, covering everything Chad and I had discussed. They were able to get me on their schedule right away. The team that came out and performed the work (Romeo, Luke, Roberto and Caesar) were exceptional. Always friendly, professional, willing to answer my many questions (lol!), and their work product was perfect. Andrea was a fantastic Admin. She kept all the paperwork and communication flowing, and was a wonderful resource when I had questions. Chad was great - onsite and present often, providing information and ensuring that I was happy with the progress. The project included: demoing the bark, patio and existing fountain; removing plants; replacing old drip and lighting lines; replacing irrigation valves and solenoids; finishing all beds with lava rock; pouring approx (1000) sq ft of concrete - 2 color stamped pattern; installing a header board along a property line; and building a mini retaining wall along the sidewalk. They cleaned up everything when they were finished, it was spotless. The work done was exactly as we discussed and I am so pleased. They will be coming back out to seal the concrete after it is done curing. Based on my wonderful experience with them I highly recommend Shear Perfection Landscaping. I will absolutely be working with them again when I have future landscaping needs. Thanks Shear Perfection for everything!

When they did respond, the guy was unable to commit to a start date which was a RED FLAG for me! I checked the yelp reviews for landscaper designers and consulted with a friend who recommended calling Terrain Creations. Brown areas can result from watering schedules, maintenance, extreme summer temperatures, soil conditions, and many other factors, not simply faulty irrigation. The extreme heat this summer required special care and attention to keep the lawn healthy (especially with very large lawn areas like yours). And this was the second summer after completing your job." RE: I have a professional gardener + a professional weekly lawn care company--this is not a DIY situation.
