Working with Fernando and his team was great. He knew what I wanted, made a few helpful suggestions for me to consider, and got the job done at a fair price. And to top it off, he did it exactly when he said he would do it. He and his team installed a one stage sprinkler system for my backyard in the shape of my rectangle lawn (sprinklers on 4 corners) in a day. I was so pleased I decided to add him to do weekly landscaping for me. Highly recommended. read more

Fantastic experience with Fernando and the team at Garcia Landscape. After months of getting run around by other landscapers who either didn't show up, didn't follow up or had ridiculous quotes - Fernando helped us to do the entire project: lawn, concrete and turf. Fair price and great quality work. He was easy to work with. Always communicated quickly, showed up on time and followed up on anything we needed. We're already having him do more work for us. Highly recommend! read more

We contacted Garcia Landscape for a quote on a full front yard remodel, we wanted to take out all of the lawn and put in hardscape. Fernando came over the next day and gave us a quote so we went for it...they started the work just a few days later and got it done on schedule, the crew was fast, friendly and did a great job. We could not have been happier with the results. Our job came out so good we hired them to do a long overdue major yard cleanup at my Moms house...again they did great job at a fair price and got it done on schedule. read more

I contacted Garcia Landscape for an estimate for a retaining wall for my backyard and Fernando was quick to respond with a date and time to meet in person. He was very friendly and arrived on time to do the measurements and gave his expertise in what he thought would be a good design with the ideas I had for the space. I had a few estimates from different companies around our area and he had the most competitive price with the earliest start date. He and his team started on time and finished quickly. The finish was very clean and nicely presented; I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of helping move some of the extra dirt I had to fill in the space behind the wall. We are very happy with the result and would recommend him to friends and family! Thank you Fernando and his team. read more

We worked with Fernando and his team recently to take out the front lawn and replace with rock and bark. From start to finish, Fernando was excellent to work with. He was quick to respond, provided a very competitive quote, offered design ideas throughout the project, and even started one day earlier than expected. He and his team completed the work on schedule and it turned out even better than expected. I highly recommend contacting Fernando and his team for any landscaping needs. read more

Gave me a quote to maintain my small lawn. Reasonable price. He said they would mow, clean up leaves, branches, etc., fertilize and fight the weeds. Started ok and was happy with the work. Went out of the country for a couple months and returned home to a dead lawn. Turns out a sprinkler failed and it was flooding the gutter with water and no water got on the lawn. He waited more than a month to let me know. I should have gotten out then, but no... had them remove the old grass, prepare the soil, and lay down new sod. This is the worst I've seen. The sod itself was great, but they layed it down without having the edges of the sod butt up against each other so there were gaps. They never rolled the sod, so it was uneven and lumpy. I had another landscaper come in and try to fix it. That still wasn't enough for me, I guess, and I let them keep maintaining the lawn. I noticed one day that all I heard was the leaf blowers and then nothing. Turns out they stop mowing in the winter and just blew the leaves behind the bushes and trees, and up against the fence. That was when I had enough and got rid of them. This is why I generally do my own yard work. Why pay someone who is going to not care about their work and the end product? read more

We are so grateful to Fernando and his super hard working team. We had another company start our front yard but when COVID started they abandoned our project and left piles of dirt, broken sprinklers, trash and rock all over our yard. It was a disaster to say the least. Fernando and his team were on time every day, they did the job as promised on the quote and finished ahead of schedule. There were no surprise expenses, no attempts to up-charge or up sell. He poured concrete, did a ridiculous amount of dirt work, laid sprinklers, sod and made a gorgeous planter bed...in 8 days!!!! I cannot say enough about the final result, it is a dream come true. We highly recommend Garcia landscaping. (BTW the pictures don't do it justice, because the hard work is all in the dirt) read more

1) This morning, 051023, I tried calling the business phone & was promptly sent to a voice mail. 2) So, I then requested an estimate for yard work online today, 051023, & the response was: Fernando G. Unable to service I'm booked for this time 3) I then inquired: What's your next availability? I NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD !!!! I certainly WILL NOT attempt to contact this business again read more

Fernando & crew delivered! We found him to be very easy to communicate with, fair price, and quick and efficient job. He was able to provide us with a quote right away and could get started as soon as we were ready. There was a delay in our concrete borders but Fernando was quick to find a replacement guy for the job and i couldnt be happier with the end result. I highly recommended him to anyone that needs sod, irrigation, etc. Here's some before and after shots: read more

What a wonderful job Fernando and his team from Garcia Landscape did to complete our back and side yard. We are in a new build and we had pavers put in last January in the backyard and nothing else. We wanted decomposed granite, artificial turf, and a small planted area put in as well as to rock our front side yard. Right before they started we requested also a 90 foot fence to be moved. They were able to do it all! A week before completion I found out they would finish the day before Thanksgiving. I was hoping they could finish on Tuesday instead since I wanted to have family over on Wednesday. They finished on Tuesday afternoon!! They were very reasonable priced and hard working. We highly recommend Garcia landscaping. read more

I highly recommend Garcia Landscape - Fernando and his crew redid my front yard and added some concrete steps - the results far exceeded my expectations! He and his crew were very responsive, professional and... "patient" with my many minor changes as the project went along. At all stages in the project, any time I had a question or suggestion Fernando was quick to respond and adapt to whatever came up - truly, it was a pleasure having them redo my yard. I will definitely use Garcia Landscape again for another project I have coming up next spring, and have no hesitation recommending them for the great job they did! read more

We recently moved to Orangevale and ended up with a total remodel of our front yard that we did not expect. Our quest to find a landscaping company to do our yard was a difficult and daunting task. Fernando was one of many landscapers we called but he is the only one that showed up on time and provided us with a quote the very next day. After meeting with him we felt very comfortable with his demeanor and personality. Fernando and his crew were here every day. He was attentive to our concerns and addressed every question we had. He always maintained a very professional and accommodating attitude and work ethic. This brought us great comfort. It was a really big project. New concrete driveway with pavers, paver walkways, drainage, irrigation, lighting plants and sod! We are so very happy with the outcome. You will not go wrong hiring Garcia Landscaping! read more

Fernando did a great job putting a concrete porch with a fence and stones. He did it fast, and for a good price. Highly recommended.

I hired Garcia Landscape to re landscape and maintain my property in Granite Bay. This is a rental property that I trusted he would take care of this property. I was EXTREMELY concerned when I recently saw the property. I had lost so many plants and the auto sprinklers were not functioning properly at all which left dry spots in the lawn..He had not touched the back yard althought I paid him for front and back yards. I CALLED HIM TO DISCUSS ALL I HEARD WAS EXCUSES THAT HE HAD NOT SEEN THE PROPERTY FOR OVER A YEAR AND HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT GOING ON WITH THE CREW ?? I immediately let his services go upon finding out he does not follow up with his crew.. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the future.. Be aware please. read more

I've used Fernando's service a couple of times for annual yard cleanup. Leaves, weeds, trimming down all the bushes, etc. This year I also had him bring in bark for my grassless yard. He has always been very responsive, on time, does great work. He and his team are efficient and professional. His pricing seems to be very fair. And, he's a nice guy! read more

I have been working with Fernando on my backyard for a few months now. I have taken so many before and after pictures. I had to put them in a video for faster viewing. The pictures do not tell the entire story. His crew had to jack hammer out an old Koi pond, rip up all the old drains and replace them. He took down 6 trees that the roots were pulling up the concrete and heading toward the pool. He had to grade the lawn so it will drain properly and put in extra drains so I don't have mud puddles (like before). Rocks, uplighting...you name it...they did it. Fernando and his crew are the best. Highly recommend them. Check out the before and after pictures on the video. http://premiereclip.adobe.com/videos/EnP2_7sFgzH read more

I was searching for a landscaper who would be able to redo my entire front yard and add drip to my back yard. I came across Garcia's Landscape on Yelp and immediately contacted him. Fernando responded very quickly and came out for a quote within several days of my inquiry. I am so happy I selected him! My lawn looks amazing. He brought out a wonderful crew that worked fast! In four days my front yard was completed. You will NOT regret hiring him to work on your yard. He programmed all my sprinklers and explained how I should water my new sod. I am definitely calling him to come back and work on more projects. I will absolutely refer him to friends and neighbors for all future work. Thanks Fernando for being awesome!!! Colleen read more

Fernando was great to work with! I reached out for a quote, he came out the next day, was incredibly reasonable in price and was very knowledgeable about plants and where they would thrive. Bought our house and it came with everything, except a backyard. Lol. It was all rocks and soil and we knew this is not your typical DIY. So, went to Yelp and looked and received several quotes. We needed a landscaper to make our backyard a REAL backyard, at our budget. That's where Fernando came in. He was on time, responsive and worked with us to achieve the backyard we wanted. He (and his team) were very efficient, quick, polite and respectful. The entire project took less than a week and was just completed 2 days ago.... It would have been quicker if it wasn't raining so much! He even suggested a curve on the concrete so we could add a fountain, which we didn't even think about. Fernando took the time to give us our options, suggested what would look better, etc. Oh yeah, he even suggested we DIY painting our fence to save money, and we did! Fernando gave us suggestions on what to buy and Home Depot had everything for our newly painted fence. Now, have a REAL backyard that we can step foot on! Before and After pics attached. Thanks Fernando for your help and to all those interested in courteous, fast, efficient, friendly and respectful service, give him a call. Oh yeah, he can be busy but just be patient and you would be very pleased with the results! read more

We used Garcia landscaping for a full front and backyard landscape job including all new sod, rock work, curbing, sprinklers, removal of old trees/roots/plants/ mulch . Fernando and his team were amazing from start to finish. Starting with the estimate he was on time, had some great ideas and got us a professional bid within 48 hours. He started the project on time, his crew was on time and respectful during the 4 week job and Fernando was always open to change requests, additions or removals from the job. Can't tell you if they are any good at landscaping, but their communication is one star for sure. Fernando did an incredible job with our backyard! We have got so many compliments on how great it looks. From the beginning to the end, he was easy to communicate with. When he came out to give us quotes, he was on time and he explained everything with detail and answered all the questions I had. He also got back to me within reasonable time about my quote. He was busy and gave me a start date a few weeks out, but he then contacted me asking if it was ok to start sooner...well of course! We were so eager to have our backyard done. Fernando also did a few last minute things we asked of him, and he didn't hesitate to meet our needs. Half ways through the work, we decided to do get rid of all trees and we asked to have barc. We also asked if he could fix our sprinklers in our front yard. Fernando gladly met all our last minute requests. Anytime I had questions, I reached out and he always responded quickly. Him and his workers also cleaned up after themselves. I can't stress enough how important it is to find someone who is reliable on top of doing a good job.
