Jose will lure you with most affordable quote upfront. They seemed nice at first. And your tree planting service is not full service. One tree laid down very next day in mild August wind. And the two other ones went down following days. Blaming for wind, he said. And I am now dishonest person because I didn't ask for staking. And didn't even let me know there would be EXTRA cost when I asked him to come back and finish his job. Another life lessons. Very bad tastes in mu mouth every time I see my trees.

We used Green Vista for a driveway extension and path to our backyard. I had planned to use David…read moreMorris as he had previously poured us a beautiful backyard patio. Unfortunately, Morris was unable to fulfill some additional work that we wanted done at the same time (re-positioning a fence gate, drains). The entire job felt like bait-and-switch. My neighbor had used Miguel from MC Landscape for concrete work - and I was impressed by the work. I set up an appointment for a quote. Miguel was unable to make it because of a trailer tire blowout. Fine, stuff happens. We re-scheduled as the weather warmed up. Instead of Miguel, his brother Jose (of Green Vista) showed up. Entirely different company. I chose Green Vista because Jose claimed he had done many jobs with Miguel, and promised he could do the fence work with the concrete. We signed the contract and Jose was available within a few days. He arrived on time and dug out the yard in the first day. Everything was going fine. However, after the first day, he had another job to go to so there were several days where nothing happened. This was critical because the weather had changed from cool and humid to sunny, warm, and dry, which I believe affected the curing (more on this later). When he returned, he had some logistical reason why he would now be unable to re-position our gate-the main reason I chose him in the first place! Also, he had difficulty finding the metal cap for the sewer clean-out in our side yard (metal was specified in the quote). He installed a plastic "Water" labeled cap, and told me he would return to replace it with the correct "Sewer" cap. I wasn't around for the pour, but when I got home it already looked dry from the sunny. Not good for concrete. Nothing done to preserve moisture. I hosed it off several times that evening and the next morning. I received a call from Jose the following afternoon, instructing me to hose off the concrete. Ya, well I was already doing it. I asked about the sewer cap, and he said be was working on finding one, but that it would be plastic. Over the next couple weeks, I called several times, but my calls were not returned and we still have a "water" cap on our sewer cleanout. It's been about six months, and the concrete shows signs of cracks beginning, and several cracks have already formed in corners. Next time, I'll stick with Morris for concrete. He was the same price anyway.

What started off as a 5 star service went down quickly to today's one star rating. A foreman…read more/manager met me at my property on the first visit. It was clear he understood what was going to be required for my twice monthly service. I have a yard that requires very little maintenance except for winter pruning of shrubs and 3 small crepe myrtle trees. It has taken them 3 months to respond to my requests to do what they promised. When the two workers come each time, I discuss what is required based on my agreement, and several times they have told me "next time." After several visits and the "next time" as promised does not happen, I had a talk with the workers. So this last time they responded with pruning 2 of the trees, butchering them, and the 3rd tree they left have unpruned! Seriously??? Also the two "next time" other items were not completed at all and they left their tools laying in my yard and left when I was not watching. To see if I could correct these issues, I emailed the office asking to cancel my remaining monthly service. No response in a week. I have left 3 phone messages in the last week with no response. Update: Did get a phone call from owner. He apologized. He said that his employees were not doing the job that he specified to them with written instructions. I did cancel the contract. The owner refunded my last month payment. I wonder if he will fire the non-performing employees. I have a low maintenance property. I'm just going to do all the landscape work myself.
