Unlike so many others in the industry, Grady is responsive and when he says he's going to show up, he shows up. Grady and his team were very professional. We are so happy to finally have a backyard we can enjoy and be proud of, and can't wait for the weather to cool off enough to really start spending time out there. We only wish we had a third yard so that we could hire Grady again.

In the end, the project took 6 weeks. For a simple patio, a small dog run and a rock weed barrier. Lucy tried to sneak fees in and without my approval, had her workers rip out 2 of my bushes. After complaining, they replanted them days later but the plants did not survive. They also damaged my drip system (they did fix it after I brought to their attention) also, the workers left trash in the yard. John was kind and understanding but I will continue to tell my neighbors to stay away from them.

I spoke to Mike first and he was very helpful and informative and patiently answered all my questions. He and his team kept this responsiveness and quality experience throughout the whole project. This company is also very honest. They accidentally underquoted me for the project, but they honored their original price without hesitation. They also demonstrated flexibility by working with me on scheduling and adapting to our needs. I had a question about our sprinkler system after they finished and they got back to me with an answer right away. Not only do I think the new retaining wall looks fantastic, but even my gardener, who sees a lot of this type of work, was impressed. He commented that he could tell Stuteville Landscaping took their time, didn't skip any steps, and performed high-quality work. We chose AVR because Alex was patient, listened to our ideas, and gave us helpful advice. When the size of rocks we wanted was not available, I was willing to use larger ones. But Alex took the extra time to find the exact size we wanted. This was our first landscaping project, so we had many questions. Alex was always friendly and helpful. He also carefully checked the pavers on our patio to make sure they were level and water would not collect. Our project included three walkways, garden bed borders, a paver patio, and a large Japanese-style rock garden. After a year, everything still looks great, and the maintenance has been manageable. We really appreciate Alex's patience, hard work, and attention to detail. We highly recommend AVR!

Brandon, Amanda, and their crew did a fantastic job with our backyard…read more Brandon is truly gifted when it comes to design. He worked with us very patiently and you can tell that he views every project as an opportunity to dream up something new - I.e., he doesn't just apply a cookie-cutter design to every backyard based on budget. He really cares and demonstrated that throughout the design/construction process. He does have his own unique "style" when it comes to materials and we were very impressed. Personally, I haven't found another contractor in the area who puts out a product that looks as high-quality as Brandon's does. Amanda kept everything smooth on the backend and was consistently checking in with us to make sure things were going well. We ended up splurging on some pavers and it was the best choice we could've made. They're really stunning and add such a premium look to our backyard. That along with sod, rock, mulch, some concrete for our side yard, and a really nice plant selection mostly curated by Brandon. Reliable will be our first contact for any future landscaping needs and we would recommend them to anyone in the area.
