This place came out and gave us a quote, we accepted the quote and then the office called to book the job. It took a month and a week but they came in time the day they said they would! Service was impeccable! Cleaned up all mess and made sure we were satisfied before they began cleaning up. The value was good, fair price for quality work. I would definitely use them in the future if I ever needed another fence and I recommend them to my family and friends! Support local small businesses! Give them your business! read more

Castillo Fencing - Redwood fence - Fences & Gates Near Me - Sacramento, California

I had a fence in my backyard that was severely damaged by the late December winter storm. I finally got around to replacing it, and Castillo Fencing was recommended by a friend of mine. Their sales rep Gerver came to my house and gave me a very reasonable quote to replace 100 feet of my damaged wooden fence. Their 2-person crew came out yesterday to replace the fence. And WOW what a fantastic job they did!! Their crew was prompt, courteous, professional, and did a brilliant job on my new fence. They also left my yard spotless after they left. I could not have been happier with the finished product. I highly recommend Castillo Fencing if you have a need for any fence job. read more

We had previously contracted with their competitor who cancelled 2 appointments after we had been waiting for 2-4 hrs. Castillo showed up exactly at their appointment time, were professional and the fence repair looks fantastic. The price was equivalent to their competitor read more

I've used Castillo 3 times. They are professional, hard working, and the materials they have access to are superior to what I could buy at Home Depot. My recent repair was a 10 foot gate opening. They fabricated the metal frames in advance. All welded steel and 4x4 heavy duty posts. Also heavy duty hinges that were welded to the frames. They built a 6 foot and 4 foot gate so we can use the 4 foot regularly for garbage cans etc. Opening both sides gives 10 foot wide access for a vehicle if needed. Here are a couple pics. Works like butter. read more

We had Castillo Fencing install the structure to support shade cloth over our Dahlia garden. They showed up when scheduled and stayed until the job was finished. They did an excellent job and staffed the project well. I am very pleased with the overall quality of work and the quality of individuals that were on our project. We received multiple bids and chose Castillo fencing over the others because of the value for the price they proposed. They were a very professional outfit and conducted themselves with a high degree of decorum from the original estimate through the completion of the job. read more

They came out and gave me an estimate the week that I requested. The individual that came was professional and provided a written estimate. We approved the bid. They sent me and my neighbor an email to digitally sign for the contract splitting the cost 50-50, as my neighbor and I had agreed. They came out after the rain stopped installed three panels of fencing in about two hours! In our contract, they provided the instructions for fence care. This is the second time that I have used this business and I am still very happy with them! I highly suggest getting metal posts! We have had them replace three fence lines. Best workmanship and quality I have experienced. Prices are competitive.

As of today, our house is surrounded by fencing we have had installed by Castillo Fencing. We won't go with anyone else because we know nobody will beat their price, quality of service, and professionalism. Their guys always show up on time and communicate with us throughout the process, asking any questions that come up to ensure we are happy with the finished product. That is super important to us. They are very efficient and work with such precision, it's impressive to watch them, a well oiled machine. I also appreciate the quality of work, the time it takes them to get a job done and how well they clean up when they are done for the day. I have watched them pace the yard line and pick up any scraps they may have left behind. Little details like that really do make a huge difference. We have our entire backyard fenced in by them as well as out front yard done by them including gates and they are extremely sturdy and look great! Can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a new fence. You can't beat their services. read more

In 60 years of owning 15 homes and having had built many fences for those homes, I have experienced many different fence crews. Today I had the opportunity to meet the "Best". Fernando and his assistant are outstanding individuals. They worked with me to realize the type of fence I wanted. Making small adjustments here and there to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, when the fence was completed. The work area was always kept clean and neat. The old fence was torn down and loaded onto the truck. From the time they drove up at 8:15 am to when they finished around 1:00 pm, they never stopped. Each one knew exactly what they had to do to, building the 34' ft- 8' ft. tall Redwood "Board on Board" fence. A heck of a 2 man team. It started all with Gerver, the estimator that came to my home. He took time, listening to me, looking at the old fence, and designing one that mirrored the old one but was 10x's stronger and better looking. His estimate was extremely fair. I did not have to call any other fence companies. I decided to go with Castillo Fencing. Fernando and his helper, did an outstanding job in building the fence. They took their time, measured twice and cut only once. When the job was finished, you could not tell that a fence crew had been there to build a fence. Bottomline, it is beautiful Perfection!!!! Outstanding office personnel, always communicating with me, via email or a phone call. Sending the contracts the next day for me to sign. Getting on the schedule right away. I appreciated the phone calls and emails to keep me in the loop on what was happening and when they where coming out. If you want the best team to build your fence, contact Dave at Castillo Fencing. They are an honorable, and fair company, one you can trust to build you an outstanding fence. read more

I love my fence, Great service! Follow up for fence tuneups years later is much appreciated.

No need to go into too many details when a picture speaks a thousand words. Had 3 competing quotes, went with this company because they had the lowest price. Little did I know it would be the lowest quality, too. The workers did very little communicating with me that day, spoke in Spanish the whole day to the resident neighbor who told them his household needed space for their garbage cans (when the owner of the house refused to pay their portion or talk to me prior to the project, until I served them with court papers a few months after the project was "complete"). That neighbor spent the whole day drinking and chatting with the workers and helping them. Literally! Castillo Fencing workers put the posts almost a foot into my front yard. Huh?! Management and owners were rude AF on the phone, told me we could sort it out later if I got a survey. Of course I stupidly said, "yes." What else was I to do when the old fence was already gone? Long story short, it will cost $15,000 to get a professional survey and county recording done to confirm what common sense can see. I'd rather spend that sum of money on a bathroom remodel and to get away from these lousy neighbors. So yeah, buyer beware, i don't know of any company that would look at this and say, "yeah, this seems right!" Also, a few tips: Better Business Bureau will get you nowhere with these clowns but you do have four years to pursue a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Please, if you're reading this, it is my opinion that you go with a better company! read more

I just called to cancel- BUT ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK! I just got off the phone and I've been anxious as hell because I had a family emergency come up this weekend and the money I had saved for the fence repair and gate extension is GONE! It's scheduled for this Friday 10/27 and here I am already feeling bummed AND having to call and cancel made me so nervous bc I thought I would have to reveal the reason why and explain extensively and what not. But nope- I spoke to Dave and he said sure no problem and I asked him how long is the quote good for (since I'm going to probably delay until January or so) and he says no we just do a materials check make sure prices haven't changed and if so we only change the amount for materials. Now, I'm not sure is that's the case for everyone but it is for my quote. Might as well review the initial consult with Gerber-a great guy very thorough and answered all questions. The quote wasn't "cheap" but it's doesn't matter when customer service is top notch... this is where I want my money to go, a local company that cares about customers! Only doing 4 stars bc the actual job hasn't been done but rest assured I will be back to add pictures once I get my project done in a few months. read more

Exceptional. My neighbor and I went with Castillo because of their attractive pricing, but their work has made me a fan. On the day of he installation, the crew was able to be here early. They were able to take away the old fence, and install a new one in less than day. I was able to communicate with the lead worker of what I wanted on site, and he was so helpful. Because of the recent storm, I had a small tree stump that got up-rooted. I asked if they can break it down so I can put it in my trash, and the worker replied "Don't worry we will take care of it." And they hauled it away. Here is the kicker: while one of the workers was leaving my backyard, he noticed my gate on the other side was in need of repair (it was dragging on the ground and wouldn't close). Without hesitation, they fixed it. The new fence makes my backyard look new. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. Thank you! read more

A friend recommended Castillo fencing. Very happy with my new fence separating my pool from the rest of the yard. The staff are responsive, listen, follow-up, and did their jobs as we discussed and designed. For example, when it looked like we would have to have a small panel to make sure one of the gates was centered where I wanted it, they worked to center the gate with only larger panels, and I was fine with it either way! Already have people complimenting the fence, too! Beautiful! read more
