Tommy was very professional. Listed options on plumbing and went with unions vs hard gluing 2" PVC schedule 40 connections. So if pump were to have issues in future no more cutting pipes. Just loosened and swap in the new pump. Tommy worked digitally and had it in just under 2 hours and helped me set optimized pump program settings on mobile app. He painted the white PvC pipe so that the suns PVC don't harm the pipe. I immediately told him to f*ck off and hung up--we may be divorced, but that level of misogynistic BS is inappropriate even if I didn't still call her a friend. And he should have never called me in the first place--he knew I'd moved out and have nothing to do with the house anymore. Further, he claimed to her that he had told me "many times" that the filters needed replacing because "you have to replace them every three years." I last replaced them in May of 2022. From May 2025 to November 2025 he never said anything about it. ETA: interesting that Dave is worried about my review but only addresses the least important part. Also notice his scare quotes, denoting insulting attitude. What about the fact your men didn't properly lock the filter lid on on several different service dates? What about your employee's incredibly unprofessional phone call? And for the record, I'm not saying you missed a lot of days, but suction pressure isn't filling a filter basket to the brim. Pull the other one. You have mostly good reviews. You can handle a few bad ones, and until you admit to your employee's unprofessional behavior, I'm leaving this here.

One thing I really appreciate is their communication. They text about 30 minutes before arriving, and we usually get the same technician, which I love because he already knows our setup. When they finish, the pool water always looks crystal clear -- that satisfying "sparkling blue" moment when you walk outside. They're also very organized. After each visit they send a report with a photo of the pool and detailed notes on the chemicals and everything they checked, which I really appreciate. One thing to know: they won't remove items from the pool unless you specifically ask. My daughter once left some pool toys in there and I assumed they might grab them, but the technician explained they leave anything in the pool alone in case the homeowner placed it there intentionally. Totally understandable -- just something to be aware of. The owners are very responsive as well. We had an issue once and they actually came out themselves to help resolve it quickly. When he came, the services were top-notch, however, services aside his communication was extremely poor. Any other servicer I've ever used has called me prior to their arrival or has called me whenever the gate is locked and they do not have access. Unfortunately, he only let me know of this issue one or two times before he stopped altogether and left my pool to sit for four weeks with zero communication that he couldn't get in. I understand it's frustrating for him, but I never received a timeframe of when he would be coming other than Wednesday and Thursday and in citrus Heights, where I live, you can't leave your gate unlocked for two straight days. It's simply not safe. The biggest blow of it all was I paid for the month of February and got zero service(because he never told me the gate was locked) . I initially wasn't even distraught until he had said he would show up this Wednesday/Thursday and service my pool a last time before parting ways and then ghosted me and never showed up.
