After waiting half an hour, I finally called him at 8:00 AM to ask if he was still coming. His response? "Sorry, I forgot." No sense of urgency, no professionalism, and no respect for my time. He didn't even offer to reschedule until I mentioned it, then said he was too busy and would refer me elsewhere. This review isn't about their painting skills -- it's about how they treat potential customers. If this is how they handle a simple appointment, I can only imagine how they'd handle an actual job. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. UPDATE! After posting my one-star review about a missed appointment, Jordan, the owner, called me and accused me of being malicious for sharing my experience. I explained that my review was accurate -- he didn't show up, admitted he forgot, and later changed his reason from being too busy for my job to having a family emergency. Rather than taking the feedback professionally, he asked me to change my review. I declined and encouraged him to improve communication and reliability. I stand by my review, which reflects my genuine experience with this company.

Excellent Experience with Diamond Star Painting!…read more We recently hired Diamond Star Painting to repaint the exterior of a home in Lincoln, and the entire experience was outstanding. They were quick to respond, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, accommodated our tight schedule to get the project completed on time. From the moment we committed, the process was seamless. At no point did I feel pressured, obligated, or misled. Everything was handled professionally and with genuine care. A special thank-you to Tabitha Sodders, our project manager, for her excellent communication and coordination throughout the project. Even when the crew had to start as early as 6 a.m. and finish earlier in the day because of the heat, everything was well organized and communicated promptly. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail. The crew spent considerable time masking and preparing the home properly, and they showed the same care with the final touch-ups. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. The result was excellent, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We can confidently recommend Diamond Star Painting to friends and anyone looking for a reliable, professional painting company. Diamond Star Painting was able to begin work the following week on a Wednesday, and by Friday afternoon, my house was beautifully repainted. On Friday, they completed a final walkthrough with me, promptly addressed everything we noticed, and then had me walk through the project once more before they left to make sure I was completely satisfied. A friend of mine also hired Diamond Star Painting and was equally impressed with the quality of their work and the reasonable cost. I'm extremely happy with the results and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented painting company.

I am extremely particular about any work that is done on my home, and although I have used my share of contractors, I choose to do many projects myself because I know I'll pay closer attention to detail than most professionals who just want to move on to that next job. Kenny is an exception. He and his crew of friendly, hard working, and clearly very experienced guys did an absolutely outstanding job of painting the exterior of my home. Attention to detail is where I normally have issues with contractors, and this is where Kenny stands out. Out-of-sight areas of my home that even I might have overlooked, he took the time to caulk as necessary, and thoroughly paint. He is constantly watching his guys and quick to point out anything he sees that is not up to his high standards. The clean-up and end result was perfect. His pricing was also excellent, and he even painted an additional backyard feature not on the quote for no extra charge. I could not be more satisfied, and I'm grateful that I was able to find such a great painter. I was not asked to make this review. Thanks again Kenny!
