Prompt replies to my questions. Also included a detailed list of services that the monthly payment would cover.

Had to update my review. T called after initial review promising to render services in exchange for deleting the review, and was very apologetic. Me, trying to be understanding, decided to give his company another try. Well, guess what! No call, no show... again. I'd rather drink the algae in my pool than fall for any more shenanigans. Good luck getting him to show up. read more

Ta'vion was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to diagnose and correct the issue right away.

Amazing service by Ta'Vion. We've lived in our home since 2008 and have had several different pool service company's. And finally we got so lucky we found TJ's pool service. We were planning on just getting the pool drained cleaned and then continuing to service it our selves. But after seeing how amazing Ta,Vion made our pool look we are definitely hiring his company for monthly service. His communication is great and his so professional and polite. Was super informative and went above and beyond. We are so happy we found TJ's if you're looking to start your pool service or need anything with your pool. Please I can't express how highly I recommend TJ's. You will not be disappointed! Thanks!! Happy customer in Elk Grove. read more

Don't waste your time with anyone else - he's the pool wizard. Local, responsive, communicative, trustworthy, pleasant to work with, fast, and knowledgeable. Came out to my equipment pad one morning and noticed there was some leaking at the spigot off of the pool pump, there was a crack within the fitting where the spigot was attached to. I contacted this company on a Tuesday, sent some pictures and videos of the problem. Tavion and I think Nate (sorry if I'm wrong!) came out on Thursday afternoon and had the job done in 30 minutes. Found TJ on Yelp and he had high reviews/ratings. I asked for a quote and I left a message that my pool vacuum line was clogged and I was getting no suction. This disabled my pool vacuum and my pool was a mess. TJ got back to me very quickly and I discussed the problem with him. We made an appointment later on in the week and set it for Friday afternoon at 1 pm. We discussed cost and his quote was extremely reasonable. Friday arrived and at 12:45 TJ called and said he was running a little late but would arrive by 1:30. Surprise!! TJ communicates with you!! He arrived at the reset time and he looked over my problem and immediately started working. As it turned out my pool vacuum line was extremely clogged with plastic bag pieces and small wood pieces. It took several attempts with various inventive methods to clear the line. Finally after two hours of persistent effort and attempts the line cleared and my vacuum line works again at full strength!! TJ kept his cool the whole time and was pleasant the whole time. This problem had plagued me for many months!! I was so pleased that I am having TJ return to clean my pool from dirt and stuff collected on pool bottom from the months of non functional vacuum line. I highly recommend this business and TJ is a great example of a small business giving high quality, ethical and honest service. read more

Tavion replaced broken spa and pool lights for me, but unfortunately one of the lights were broken upon arrival. We worked to get them returned, and when the new one arrived he promptly rescheduled at a time slot that worked well for me. Tavion communicates and keeps the customer informed. His expertise was invaluable in making sure that we got the proper LED lights, and that they were installed in a timely manner! Excellent, Friendly, Timely, and Courteous service! Highly recommend TJ's Pool Care! read more

They were so helpful, he came to help me with an issue with my pool sweep and didn't even want to charge me. I'm so lucky I ran into Tavion at Leslie's. I would recommend their service to everyone. Seriously 10/10!!!! I'll be contacting him whenever I have any issues with my pool read more

I had an urgent need for a pump repair earlier this year and I was SO IMPRESSED with TJ's pool care. I spoke with multiple companies and ultimately chose TJ's because he had the best service, sounded most knowledgeable about my problem, and he quoted a very fair price. I had a motor replaced on my pump and we were so happy with the entire service call. If you need a repair- this is your guy! You won't be disappointed. I am out of his service area or would have immediately transferred my weekly pool service to him. read more

This is a full service pool care shop. Repair and weekly maintenance. I was happy with my previous pool service, but switched to Tj's when I needed some plumbing fixed that the other company just didn't have the expertise to do. They referred me to Tj's. They are a newer business (hence fewer reviews right now). But these guys clearly have been working on pools for a long time, and they enjoy it. What I like is every week they send a recap of the water chemistry with a list of the services and chemicals added. Our pool was relatively clean before, but the equipment was in rough shape and I constantly needed to manually skim the pool. They fixed the bearings on my polaris 360 (saving me big on the cost of a new one), cleared out the polaris lines, fixed a backwards weir door on the skimmer (how did this happen??), and a bunch of other deferred maintenance stuff. We've had issues with tons of debris clogging up the pipes and the various baskets, and I am happy to report they have gotten it resolved. The biggest issue Tj's fixed for me was with the flow of the plumbing. Things were really non-optimized. Some other company or the prior owner had added on solar, but in a way that made the whole system work poorly. Basically the way our solar was plumbed created backpressure on the outlet line that made it slow, and the solar outlet only flowed through the sweeper! In half a day, they re-plumbed the entire system and replaced the filtration with something higher quality and modern. Because of their expertise, I didn't even need to replace the pump, which surprised me and saved a load of money. The pump has plenty of power now. They could have easily told me it was shot, and needed replacing, but I appreciate the honesty. And since they are the ones to service the pool every week, I have confidence they're choosing equipment that will last - so they don't have to constantly maintain it :) Overall I'm grateful and hope to be a longtime customer. They already taught me a lot about pool maintenance. I'm less afraid of all this equipment that I don't understand. I have confidence the pool will stay sparkling clean, and if something breaks I don't need to coordinate with another company to get it resolved. read more

My pool has been beautifully maintained by TJ's Pool Care for the past year and I highly recommend their wonderful service! Tavion and Jaxon are prompt, knowledgeable, hard-working, professional, friendly, great communicators...they're terrific and go above and beyond on a regular basis! My pool was in awful condition when TJ's took over the service from my previous pool company. They were honest about what needed to be done, quickly took care of all that was necessary to get the pool equipment in good working condition, and my pool has been looking great under their care. I am grateful to have TJ's reliable service and plan to be with them for years to come. read more

We accidentally let our pool get a little out of hand. So out of hand that we needed to have it fully drained, unfortunately. T and J from TJ's Pool Care did a fantastic job. The team professionally surveyed the problem and recommended the best solution. The stayed until the job was done, made no unnecessary mess, and were very communicative. Happy to recommend this business to any fellow pool owners who may need advanced pool drainage and refill or just general cleaning. We need to hire them to do scheduled pool cleaning after this! read more
