My wife had a stroke a few years ago so honestly it was the last thing for us to focus on. Throughout the different not so pleasing events, my wife always dealt with the women Anna and Angie and she appreciated their kindness so we just stayed with the company. One incident, one of the pool technicians brought their young daughter to work which is unprofessional and a bit scary for any possible accidents. Another incident was the main pool guy that would come to service our pool, let another technician who was not supposed to be let alone on a job, came and turned on our water to fill our pool and left my home!!! He didn't tell me that he was there and turned the water on or that he would be returning. As soon as I seen he drove away, I called the office and reported that he did this. He came back and was upset and said that he was coming back, I advised could have left a note or knocked on my door to inform me. Then I found out that he should have never been at my pool to do maintenance alone. They apologized. I also had to make a complaint about the monthly fee and the monthly service that I was not pleased with. My pool would barely be brushed. They would only check/change chemicals and take out leaves with net. I had to constantly request for my pool to be brushed. This last incident, we had an ongoing situation with my pool losing water and the pool tech advised that some work can be done with the floater valve they quoted me a set amount . I scheduled the work for Friday at noon they didn't show so I called them fin showed up at 130 . The owner Darrell knocked on my door I let go in he took a look at piping and mentioned he's guy is on the way with the materials . I opened the side gate and they started working about 20 to 30 minutes into the work Darrell knocks on my door and begins to explain that he can't complete the job .. beciase that couldn't take off the valve .. I asked if he needed to borrow tools . He said no we decided not to continue so he gathered hes tools and left . I was very upset . He left it worse then it was before .I am canceling The concert and finding a more reputable com!!

Their service is fine, but their professionalism is where they fall apart--they don't have any. But the kicker came today, when Mike called me. Now, I've moved out of the house and turned the account over to my ex-wife. Within 30 seconds of my answering the phone, Mike said, and I quote, "I think she's batsh*t insane or something." I immediately told him to f*ck off and hung up--we may be divorced, but that level of misogynistic BS is inappropriate even if I didn't still call her a friend. And he should have never called me in the first place--he knew I'd moved out and have nothing to do with the house anymore. Further, he claimed to her that he had told me "many times" that the filters needed replacing because "you have to replace them every three years." I last replaced them in May of 2022. From May 2025 to November 2025 he never said anything about it. ETA: interesting that Dave is worried about my review but only addresses the least important part. Also notice his scare quotes, denoting insulting attitude. What about the fact your men didn't properly lock the filter lid on on several different service dates? What about your employee's incredibly unprofessional phone call? And for the record, I'm not saying you missed a lot of days, but suction pressure isn't filling a filter basket to the brim. Pull the other one. You have mostly good reviews. You can handle a few bad ones, and until you admit to your employee's unprofessional behavior, I'm leaving this here.

Khang quickly diagnosed both problems, repaired the shaft seal, corrected the wiring, and got my pump running perfectly. He didn't just fix the problem--he took the time to explain what went wrong, answered all of my questions, and gave me practical advice on maintaining my older pool. He pointed out that my 72-year-old fiberglass pool only has one return jet, explained why that affects circulation, and even showed me why he believes there's a partial clog in the plumbing. He also recommended products that would actually help instead of trying to sell me things I didn't need. He even told me to return the metal stain remover because he didn't think my stains were caused by metals, which I really appreciated. Khang was honest, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. As a first-time pool owner, I learned more from him in one visit than I had in months of trying to figure everything out on my own. I highly recommend Khang to anyone needing pool repairs or maintenance. I'll definitely be calling him again.

We had a big tree fall into the pool last December and much to our surprise, they helped us get the pool blue again in just a few days. My major concern about having a hot tub was ensuring that the chemicals/water remain balanced at all times since my husband and our son have sensitive skin (especially our son, he can break out in hives very quickly if his body doesn't like something). Before purchasing our hot tub I reached out to this company to explain my concerns. The owners Everett and Loren are both very nice, friendly and professional. Everett was the one who assisted us through our process. He assured me that he could help me with all of our needs to make sure the water was always safe for my family. We set up a time for him to come to our home to balance the water the day after the hot tub arrived. He also suggested that I obtain everything I could need, chemical wise in case the water ever needed to be adjusted throughout the month in-between services. He walked me through everything that I needed to go get to keep up on chemicals from a day today perspective and what test kit to purchase. I know that this is not a normal request, I just need to be able to adjust my water every day to ensure I am never the reason why our son breaks out in hives. Everett also suggested another local business to obtain my supplies. He told me that he trusted them with his customers and they did not disappoint (All Clear Pool & Spa Supply on Elk Grove Florina and Bond, another review for them will happen shortly)! During my trip to the supply shop, I had a few additional questions and Everett answered my call and resolved my additional concerns while I was standing inside the store. When Everett arrived at our home he was incredibly professional, nice and took his time to explain everything he was doing to us and why each part was important for our safety as well as the longevity of our hot tub. He answered all of our additional questions and helped put our minds at ease. Everett has been back to our home since the initial visit to handle additional things for us and the company continues to amaze us with how responsive they are and how much they seem to care about their customers. I want to point out that at this time, we are facing COVID - 19 and my family and I are social distancing at all times. Even during this time, River City Pool Pros are still servicing their customers and they are doing so correctly and safely. They came to our home yesterday to service everything and I asked that they knock on the door to let us know that they were here and that they then use the side gate to get access to what they needed to do. They did not have a problem with that and even when we had a discussion with them once they were in the backyard, they proactively kept their distance to keep everyone safe!
