They couldn't figure out the electric timer which is real basic requiring 3 different people...maybe 4. They broke my filter and tried to use the silicone to rig it which failed. Broke the filter valve and stem in the sand filter. They also broke the stand but made sure they told me they replaced the $10 stand. We also had numerous delays. When I spoke to their pool equipment sub, he didn't know how the sand filter worked when he was hired to move, place it and re-plumb it. Wtf..... I previously wrote a much harsher review but took it down because I felt bad. This is my 3rd weekend in a row fixing the issues I paid them to do. Service level and quality is total crap.

Unfortunately, because I'm not the homeowner, I'm stuck with this circus of a company. But if you…read morehave any choice in the matter, let me save you the headache: STAY AWAY. RUN. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY. Let's start with the basics: every single time I call, they act like my account is part of some secret witness protection program. They can never find it. Not once. Not quickly. Not without me repeating the same information like I'm reading lines in a hostage video. Now onto the disaster that pushed me over the edge. We had a pool leak. Pool Time recommended Leak detection, they came out, pointed to a spot I already knew wasn't the issue, but whatever--Pool Time took their sweet time (about two weeks) to show up. When they finally did, they dug a 4x4 crater in my yard next to the pool like they were searching for buried treasure. As you can tell from the pictures, they also used an old table I had in a trash pile along with my ladder to cover the freaking hole. Knowing damn good and well that I have a dog. Shockingly, there was no leak there. Leak detection returned, admitted their mistake, sent corrected paperwork... and Pool Time? Radio silence. Absolute crickets. No call. No scheduling. No urgency. No accountability. Just a giant hole sitting there like modern art. I've called multiple times. Left messages. Followed up. And every single time, they STILL can't find my address or contract. It's like dealing with customer service powered by a Magic 8 Ball. Meanwhile, my pool is turning green--because someone, for reasons unknown to humanity, turned off the pumps during the hottest week of the year. So now I have a swamp, a crater, and a company that apparently doesn't believe in returning calls. Their customer service isn't just bad--it's nonexistent. It's a void. A black hole where competence goes to die. If you value your sanity, your time, your money, or the color blue in your pool, stay far, far away.

This is the first time we've owned a home with a pool so we were coming in as complete novices. Greg and I spent about 20 minutes on the phone as our first meeting and he explained the steps he would be taking to understand where a leak would be coming from and what it would probably take to repair. When he showed up he quickly identified the compromised areas and walked me through what he'd like to do to as permanent repairs. We also reviewed all of the pool equipment and he offered his suggestions to either replace or upgrade. He was thorough, honest and was very knowledgeable. We have agreed to initially fix the compromised areas and stop the water loss. After we looked at his high-quality work we had no doubt we should move forward with him and replace most of the pool equipment. He was upfront with his quotes and offered us different options if we wanted to do it in phases. We decided to pull the trigger and replace almost everything including some of the plumbing. There were a couple small surprises when he started taking things apart but again, was upfront and honest about what he'd like to do to make it all work right. It's been about a week now and we could not be more happy with our experience with Greg. He set us up with wireless controls for our pool, pump, lights, and spa. I would hands-down recommend Greg for any pool repair, pool upgrades or pool equipment work.

He dialed in the automatic chlorine feeder and replumbed the system, removing the old waterfall and integrating it with the new variable-speed one I already had. He also took the time to integrate all of my new add-ons into my Pentair panel and set everything up with specific schedules so everything works together properly. He made sure I understood how everything was connected and how the different components work. The setup came out clean, professional, and exactly how I wanted it. This entire project exceeded my expectations. I'll continue to use Keoni and Nevergreen for my pool needs, as usual. Highly recommend!

My heart!!!!! This makes me so sad to leave this update. We used Nevergreen for nearly 4 years. We…read morehave loved them and their service. A few hiccups, but they were always dealt with in a respectful way and timely manner. We recently ended service with them only because we are trying to sell our home and we are trying to cut costs. We figured we could maintain the pool ourselves through the rest of the year. We called and were able to cancel our monthly service with them pretty easily. They were kind and helpful, but no information was given about the way they would leave the pool on their final service. Their departure, unfortunately, was disappointing and ended up costing us almost $400 to fix their mistake which actually defeated the entire purpose of trying to do this on our own to save money. I'm not sure if it's standard practice to leave everything with the pool completely OFF, but some notice and communication would have been nice. Everything was turned off. There was no power going into our pool. The filter, vacuum, pump, everything was turned off and in August heat this was a disaster for algae to grow. We didn't notice it until it was too late. I guess it grows quick in the heat because 2 separate trips to the pool store and $400 later we were able to get the pool back, but what a disappointment. I thought we had a week from the time Nevergreen serviced our pool until we needed to worry about it, but that was being under the impression that the filter, pump, vacuum etc was still running and keeping things clean. I do want to note that I really enjoyed our pool guy - I wish I remembered his name! Austin? He was super nice and helpful and when he learned we were cancelling he even took some time to show me a few things about the pool and equipment. Super helpful. I don't blame him. I don't imagine it would be his responsibility to communicate with me those details and he doesn't see me every week regardless. I am more upset with the back office and the lack of communication (no call or email explaining what to expect) when closing out an account and not going over the way things will end. Unless this is not common practice -- if everything should have been left on as it was, then I'm sorry to whoever services our pool lol I don't want to get him specifically in trouble, but this was a very costly mistake for us in an already difficult financial time. Pic for how the pool was left on his final cleaning.

That said, it was always a challenge to get them to use salt instead of chlorine when they would adjust chemicals and clean my pool. No matter how many times I asked, they would forget and continue to use chlorine, which unfortunately was too harsh on my toddler's skin. I made multiple calls about this and reminded the technicians multiple times about this, but I would still get a new technician every six to nine months, and I had to start all over again. The two straws that broke the camel's back were: 1. A 30% increase in monthly pricing 2. A new technician explaining that the reason they can't add salt is because it slows down his route I switched over to Ralphie's Pool Service and am already much, much happier. Ralphie's pricing is significantly less expensive, they bring their own pool salt, and they don't even charge you for the salt. Bishop also charges $300 to clean pool filters compared to $100 with Ralphies. Joel (my technician for the past year at Bishop) was awesome btw.

He still said no and then his next issue was our heater was too old, probably going to be "too much of a headache". Uh, gee of course it's older, that's probably why it broke down and needs repair. I would imagine new heaters generally don't need repair, but I guess logic and Mike the Poolman don't mix. I found another Company that came out the same day and determined it was unrepairable as the part needed wasn't available anymore. So, guess what? My warranty company authorized a brand new installation of a replacement as the old one is unrepairable.
