I came in for a date night and we were promptly seated for our reservation by someone who I believe is the manager (Mallory?) and she was absolutely amazing throughout the entire night. The food was delicious but service was the slowest I've ever had so it greatly affected our first experience here. I'm not sure if this was because of restaurant week but service at other restaurants I've visited during RW has always been great. To start, we were sat down and nobody came to our table for 15 minutes, not even to bring water, so I spoke to the hostess to let her know. Our waiter finally came and she was sweet but not attentive at all through our dinner. We were there for 2.5 hours, waiting a good while in between courses. Others around us were also getting irritated - another couple left after having been seated for a while and I believe changed their minds after talking to a couple beside them who definitely looked annoyed by the long wait times. A few tables even asked to have the remainder of their upcoming courses packed to go because of this. We were given complimentary champagne and mussels for the initial wait after being seated but service sadly fell short from there. Like I initially said, Mallory was amazing and the food was delicious but the overall service experience needs some work.

Really great service and the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend. They're new and we're not busy, but they should be once word gets out!

The food was wonderful. Very creative concepts. Chef Michael is very talented and Eli's Table is a wonderful addition to the Charleston Dining experience. The jazz music playing in the background and the way they made every guest feel like they were the only one was very nice. The beignets were amazing!!!

I dined at Eli's Table with my family to celebrate my birthday. It was a lovely restaurant with friendly service. The food was tasty, but I especially loved the dessert. I appreciated that they had a kid's menu. One thing that was surprising and disappointing though was the state of the bathroom. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. Other than that, the restaurant was very nice.

OMG.... What an incredible breakfast place! We were lucky to find this restaurant so we made this our morning breakfast spot during our visit to Charleston. We were greeted and shown to a great table in front of a window. Jess B, server, had greeted the three of us. Jess, very personable, had went over the menu. I had ordered the Two Eggs Your Way and my friends had ordered the Crab & Egg. While were waiting, Jess, would cover and chat with us. Within a few minutes, our meals were delivered. All of our meals were good size portions and seasoned just right. With my meal, I had a homemade biscuit with an incredible jam that we couldn't get enough of. Jess was so nice and gave us a complimentary order of Beignets with the same jam. The Beignets were out of this world. The dining area is well lite and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and service!! Thanks again, Jess for the incredible service.

    What are the vegan options?

They have quite a few side dishes that are vegan acceptable, but the only dish they have on the menu I know of that is vegan is their vegan risotto.

Do they have a happy hour, if so what is on the menu?

Happy hour is 4pm-6pm. During happy hour, they offer a three course meal (appetizer, main course, and dessert) all for $30!

Although some dishes are seasonal, these happen to be entrees that are served year-round according to our server Both were quite delicious. The vegetarian plate had a wide variety of veggies -- from mashed potatoes, to wilted spinach, asparagus, green beans, and fried tomato's. There were only two medium pieces of fried tomato so I do wish they put more in the plate but oh well. My partner loved his bouillabaisse and apparently it's the southern rendition of a French dish that is one of their most popular dishes. It has lots of seafood in it. The meal also came with complimentary warm bread, which was nice. The pecan pie was very good, but the crust was kind of hard and there were fewer pecans than I'm used to and more caramel. The ambiance is more formal but people were dressed mostly casual (and chic if I might add). Dim lighting and if you don't want as much noise to carry I would ask for seating in the back because it's noticeably louder in the front. Overall the food is very good and prices are not as expensive for the quality. Our server was great!

The batter was crunchy, and perfectly applied so you didn't bite into a hunk of just batter. Likewise, the sides were some of the best I had during my trip to SC. Lastly, the pecan pie was really good also. However, I was expecting a bigger & taller slice. Regarding the ambiance, its smart casual here. The decor is fancier vs the down home cooking. My friend said the tomato pie was really good but it's all cheese and tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes were crispy but needed seasoning. They were incredibly bland. For the main dish she ordered the smash burger and I ordered the fish and grits. She took one bite of the smash burger and sent it back saying it tasted like a frozen burger you'd get at Walmart. The fish and grits were ok. They too were bland and needed salt. A LOT of salt or any other seasoning. The okra, Lima beans and corn that come in this dish also tasted like it came out of a frozen bag. There is no seasoning in this dish whatsoever. Unfortunately this place was a miss and we won't be returning. Also the bathrooms look like a porta potty. You know the cheap plastic that porta potties are made out of? Yeah that's what the stalls are made out of. It looks so cheap and a big contrast from the rest of the restaurant. The staff was nice but they also look like they hate working here.

Everyone was so personable and attentive. For appetizers, the beef carpaccio was my favorite. For entrées, we ordered the pork chop, tuna, duck, and lamb -- and we all shared bites. Everything was delicious. My pork chop did come out a little dry, but when I mentioned it, our waitress didn't hesitate at all. She immediately took it back and insisted on bringing a new one, making me feel completely comfortable about saying something. While I waited, she brought me a complimentary soup, which was such a thoughtful touch, and the replacement came out quickly. The manager personally brought out the new dish and waited while I cut into it to make sure it was perfect. She even came back later to check again. That level of attention to detail really stood out. To top it off, they brought out dessert and a round of champagne for the table. I wasn't drinking, and they noticed -- so they brought me a mocktail without me even asking. That kind of attentiveness is rare. The inside looked beautiful, and I'd love to sit inside next time to experience the full vibe, but outside was perfect -- not too cold, not windy, and overall just a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice! She was very helpful with her recommendations and very attentive. My husband and I both ordered drinks and my daughter ordered a Shirley Temple. Her Shirley Temple was extremely grenadine heavy, which I think they assumed they were doing her a favor, but she was a bit overwhelmed by how sweet it was. They serve it with a Sprite instead of Ginger Ale, just FYI. For dinner, I of course had to order the She Crab soup. Believe the hype! It was the best She Crab soup I had in Charleston. It was sheer perfection. I ordered the Skillet Chicken Cutlets and my husband had the Braised Beef Short Ribs. His dinner was delicious, the short ribs were so soft and tender and just melted in your mouth. I enjoyed the few bites of his more than my chicken, even though my meal was still good. There was A LOT of corn with my meal, but everything had such a great taste to it. We rounded the dinner off with a piece of Pecan Pie and vanilla ice cream which was very good as well. This restaurant is definitely on the more expensive side so be ready to drop a pretty penny. Overall, it was pretty darn good, and we will probably be back!
