Our first afternoon in Charleston coincided with the first day of March Madness. What better way to enjoy the games than sitting at a nice bar in a city we'd never been to? Our server, Blythe, was super friendly and made us feel welcome. She also made great drinks, especially the Orange Crushes! Very fun place with plenty of TV's! Glad we found it!

An okay dive bar located in the French quarter. This place gets really busy! The staff was lovely and people from all walks of life go here. I recommend stopping by.

This is the first time that I went at Christmas time and it was quite a nice surprise! The entire bar and outdoor patio are decked out and decorated for the holiday. If you're looking for a wonderful place that has character, charm and feels like that local pub you've been searching for then you'll definitely want to make a stop at Blind Tiger this holiday season. It was even more fun because right now they have a special holiday menu that fits right in with everything that's going on. On this visit, I enjoyed a Holliday Mule, which is actually a delicious citrus version of a Moscow Mule. We also enjoyed the super soft and chewy pretzel sticks with the white cheese dip, which were served warm and perfectly salted. We also enjoyed the buffalo chicken dip, which we elected to get the potato chips. Definitely a great choice if you're looking for two delicious appetizers on Broad Street. Pro Tip: I would definitely recommend that you plan ahead a little bit as it can get very busy during the holiday season and some times can be a substantial wait depending on the time of day that you're there. However, once you're in, you'll probably forget all about the wait and actually enjoy yourselves in a special way that is uniquely what the tiger has to offer! ; ) Prost & Guten Appetite!

Fun dive bar in downtown charleston! This place is a charleston darling and for good reason. There are 2 bars inside and plenty of outside space as well. It can get a little crowded, but they do a good job with service. They also have a fun Christmas vibe in December, which is when we came. We ordered festive drinks and the bleu chips appetizer. The peppermint White Russian was so yummy, however the Santa's secret punch was a little bland. The chips are always a hit though. Check out this place any time for a great divey vibe, or add it to your Christmas bar crawl!

A classic Charleston spot! Blind Tiger Pub is perfect for a martini on a fun night out or a casual bite. Keep an eye on their calendar for oyster roasts, they're always such a good time. I've been here numerous times in the year and a half I've lived in Charleston, but I had to leave a review to rave about their buffalo tots. They're unlike anything I've ever had. I'm a sucker for anything buffalo, and the blue cheese crumbles on top was the perfect touch. The portion was huge, but we still managed to clean the plate in minutes. I always recommend grabbing a seat at the first-come, first-serve bar or enjoying a drink out back on their porch. And if you go during the holidays, try something from their festive drink menu. I've loved everything I've tried!

Stop in for a bite or drinks. This old style full servicr pub accommodated our large group as a meeting place for some libations. The indoor seating was plentiful but we chose the outside patio and Joe as our bartender who kept quite busy, making drinks and cleaning up empties. Enjoy!

This was our last stop of the day, and it ended up being the perfect way to wind things down. The back patio is pet friendly and surprisingly spacious--plenty of room to stretch out and relax, even with a pup in tow. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fans to keep the air moving and water bowls set out so dogs could stay cool and comfortable. It had such a laid-back, welcoming vibe, the kind of place where you could easily linger for hours. The only minor drawback was the lack of an outdoor bartender, which meant we had to head inside to order our drinks, but it wasn't too much of a hassle. Once everything was in hand, we settled in and shared the tuna nachos as an appetizer--and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, definitely one of those dishes you'd come back for again. Between the food, drinks, and relaxed atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to wrap up the day. Went again during Christmas time: This spot is always a good time and was decorated beautifully for Christmas, both inside and out. The outdoor bar was fairly busy for a Wednesday evening, but we still had great service and excellent drinks. I ordered the Mrs. Clause's Martini with spiced pear Tanqueray gin, St. Germain, cinnamon, and lime for $15. It was very light, refreshing, and easy to drink. My husband had the Crimson Noel made with Casamigos Blanco tequila, pomegranate, grapefruit, ginger syrup, and soda for $15. He enjoyed it, though he didn't feel it was especially Christmassy. We shared one appetizer, the bleu chips, which are house kettle chips topped with gorgonzola fondue, crumbled bleu cheese, hot sauce, bacon, and scallions for $13. We added chicken for an extra $6. The flavors were great, and it was a very tasty appetizer. My only small critique is that the sauces could be layered a bit better, since once you get through the top layer, the chips underneath are a little bare. Our total bill came to $55. We've reviewed Blind Tiger several times before, so I'll keep this short. They consistently deliver good food, solid cocktails, and a great atmosphere.

Came here with a group of 6 on a Sunday. We had made reservations the day prior so we were able to get seated quickly. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Oysters were very good. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich unfortunately was not hot nor did it look anything like the online menu photos. Was still a good chicken sandwich just not what we thought we were getting. The Parmesan truffle fries were delicious. We sat outside on the back patio and they had adequate shade so no one was stuck sitting in the sun.

The free oysters on Sunday were outstanding The bartenders were so nice and happy to see us The smiling dogs in the courtyard were so fun to see

    Shrimp & Grits. Very good.

Service was slow as molasses! Our server never checked on us and we had to go to the bar to get refills. Otherwise would've been a good place. Food was great and so was the ambiance. Found out later on a ghost tour that this place has "a history".

The food was ok, the service was good and the ambiance was that of a bar. It was very loud. We are seniors and I think it's more for a younger crowd

Amazing holiday pop up!! I wanted the illegal s'mores martini I saw on insta... but they got rid of it. Settled for a holiday version of aperol spritz. Only downside was I had nowhere to set my drink or sit because of how crowded it was.

GREAT place to come after a HOT walking tour. There was a wait for 2; 30 minutes. The bathrooms were nice (they have 4) and the A/c felt amazing lol. We needed a snack before our next adventure. It was around 2:00 in the afternoon. We ordered the orange crush -tequila, FRESH squeezed orange juice, soda water. So refreshing and fresh. Ordered smoked wings and a side of plain fries . You can order truffle fries but my mom is not a fan. The smoked wings had an amazing Smokey/sweet dry rub with a take on Alabama white BBQ sauce, celery sticks, and the fries were crispy and perfect shareable. Overall, a win on this hot Charleston day

It sets the tone immediately, and the festive energy carries straight through the meal. We kicked things off with Bloody Marys and a Morning Fog -- simple, classic, and done right. They come as a small plate with three appetizer-sized tacos, and every bite was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Buddy the Elf Burger offers a choice of a single or double patty; ours was cooked perfectly. The smoky bacon really brought everything together and gave it that extra "wow" factor. We rounded things out with the O Come, All Ye Fried Rice with Hanger Steak, which was another winner -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
