    Sampler Platter

Drinks: Pink Palmetto and Meeting Street Flood Water. Good drinks! Meeting Street Flood Water tasted like a spike Arnold Palmer (local favorite) Food: Sampler platter - fried pickles, onion rings, Mac n cheese bites, corn dogs, and mozzarella sticks. Food was delicious! Pickles were very crispy, we thought it would be even better if they offered a spicy dip. The Mac n cheese bites were an unexpected taste, in a good way. Onion rings were very crispy, probably the best out of all the food in the sampler.

Loved the vibe of the bar, especially for watching sports games. The appetizer sampler was perfect for our party of 5!

Perfectly fine burger place downtown. I had an1/2 lb of boneless wings, Nashville Hot, my son had a BLT. My wings were done nicely, the rub was extremely spicy, my kid liked his BLT fine. A million TVs for the sports fans. It was pretty empty, service was OK. Everything was fine and the price was right but nothing jumped off the page either to stand out, very forgettable experience, but also not a bad one. If I went here again I wouldn't be upset by it but I doubt I would crave it. J.Ja

Food here is delicious! Environment is top tier for a bar. Communal seating encourages conversation and was a good experience for me at least! I came here for dinner with a date before we went to the Andy Grammer concert. All the appetizers we got (mini-corn dogs and fried green tomatoes) were awesome and very hot when they arrived. The Classic burger and fries were melt in your mouth delicious along with a nice cold beer! Excellent service!

Great food and the atmosphere was warm. The weather wasn't warm but it was nice in here.

The Brick is a downtown sports bar that has a light, big city feel. The Brick is an awesome place to watch a game and (as you might expect) there are TVs everywhere. Drink specials are nice (especially downtown) and we ordered a few beer buckets while we watched the game. We tried a few of the pretzels, sandwiches, boneless wings, and tots. Food was all just below The Brick's price point and our sandwiches, served on huge buns, were mostly bread. Our main feedback would be to 1) reduce food portion size and/or increase the food cost/quality, 2) assume that patrons order "traditional" *bone-in wings (to avoid any server awkwardness/confusion) when wings are ordered, and 3) frequently tidy up the dining room and restrooms as patrons leave. While we understand what The Brick is aiming for, we feel that these two changes will put them in the conversation of other successful downtown sports bars (Beerworks, etc.).

Cute little bar with good food! Service was fast and space was clean. I tried the fried shrimp po boy and would definitely come back for it again. Also best fried pickles I've ever tried!!

It was great!! My burger was great, and came pretty quick. The server was very nice and funny, and i loved the looks of the place. The kids had the pretzels and cheese, and some mac and cheese, they ate it so fast! My wife and i ordered burgers. Only bad thing was there was no Coke-- just jokes, i don't even like Coca-Cola that much. 10/10 would return.

walked in around the end of lunch time after we pulled into the parking garage next door. was pretty empty, but had an average sports bar atmosphere. seat yourself and a waiter was with us in a good amount of time. I ordered a hokie burger with cole slaw... slaw was a mistake as it came far too dry, but props to them they were able to get me some extra dressing as requested. Everyone else got fries and loved them, they were similar to mcdonald's fry and very salty! the burger was good tho as was the rest of the groups burgers. this is a pepsi establishments as well. fair warning there is an upcharge for credit cards.

We ventured in here for a casual lunch. It wasn't too busy. They have darts in the back, TVs up to watch sports, and mostly high tops and bar seating. There were some low tables. It was seat yourself when we walked in. We were served pretty quickly once we found our seats. We ordered mac and cheese bits and I got the boneless wings. My friend got the traditional wings and loved them (juicy and lots of Buffalo sauce). I got sweet Siracha as my sauce for my boneless. I loved how crispy the outside was. Almost like fried chicken texture. The mac and cheese bites were simple but good and came with ranch to dip. We liked this place and looks like they have a good happy hour.

Stopped in mid day on Saturday and didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes which isn't too bad. You can walk around the hotel while you wait. They had a specialty fall cocktail menu which was super cool. I ordered the Haunted Market Street Margarita and it was amazing. It had charcoal simple syrup and lava salt which gave it such an interesting flavor. We shared the Pimento cheese appetizer and I am so glad we ordered. It was so good and the presentation was beautiful. I don't normally enjoy pimento but I did here. My parents shared the turkey club and said it was great. Will always stop by when I'm in Charleston. The service was warm and friendly, and their attitudes couldn't have been more pleasant. The pimento cheese was spot on and delivered by the executive sous chef herself. I don't know why but that was such a great little extra touch.. However, the place is narrow and crowded. Everyone stands around the bar but it's not large enough to accommodate that so then many people standing are backed up right in front of seated guests dining staring at their butts lol. Ironically the bathrooms were super large and spacious though. I'd come back for lunch perhaps because the food truly is delicious, when hopefully not as crowded instead of an evening experience here personally... Ps. The server who had just moved from Chicago was amazing! I wish I could remember her name. Super friendly, helpful w the menu and sharing about downtown Charleston. It was the first time I've been here so it was nice to hear her share some things for sure and be so welcoming. Give this girl a raise hahaha.
