Dog & Duck absolutely delivered on flavor and comfort food vibes. I tried the German jojos--crispy potato wedges smothered in melted cheese and packed with savory goodness. Highly recommend as a shareable starter appetizer. Also tried the French dip paired with crunchy, well-seasoned pub chips that I could've eaten by the handful. We also had the fish & chips, and the batter was light, golden, and perfectly crisp without being greasy. Casual, friendly service, and full of flavor--this is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back and work your way through the whole menu.

Dropped into Dog & Duck on Clements Ferry and had a great experience. It's a classic American pub vibe--plenty of TVs, a lively yet laid-back atmosphere, and a solid drink and liquor selection. I started with the barbecue quesadilla appetizer, which was smoky, cheesy, and just the right amount of messy in the best way. For my main, I ordered the hamburger salad. Think of a chef salad, but better--loaded with seasoned hamburger, crispy bacon, and fresh toppings. It totally hit the spot. One fun little touch: they serve drinks with tiny rubber ducks floating in them, which adds a quirky, memorable twist. Service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and fast without being rushed. I'll definitely be back. Great spot for a casual meal, to catch a game, or just unwind with a drink.

Sephanie here was awesome. Carrington and kellan are the best bartenders around. The whole staff is amazing!

Sephanie was very funny and got all of our orders correct. Dog and duck is a really friendly environment to get a drink and watch a great game! You'll have to ask for Carrington and kellan, the best bartenders around!

This is our food facilitator Emma! She's smiling with our son Mark as we celebrate his 31st birthday in style.

Friday night, no waiting & Emma took such good care of us you'd think we were family. A couple of BLTs (my all-time fav) three tacos which Mark made quick work of, and an order of a dozen wings, soaked in sweet pepper sauce. We all enjoyed everything. Highly recommended! Very conveniently located.

It's a small place with great food. We enjoyed each entree. Everything was freshly made. Our server was very nice and attentive. I recommend Dog and Duck.

This is a great place to get to ole bar food, hang with your friends, and have a few drinks. Foods pretty good, prices are reasonable, and parking aplenty. Great place to play bingo on Mondays or later in the week they have music trivia. Staff is always a pleasure.

The food is very good, had chicken salad and fish and chips very tasty. If you like sports there is lots of tv's with different sports on them. The only issue I had was the place was very loud. The wait staff was excellent

Great little bar and good service. Not too busy for Fourth of July weekend and the drinks were fantastic! The food is great, I got the turkey bacon grill, but didn't take a photo. All the drinks we had were fabulous and it's a great place to come and hang out with some friends!

Great bar food. Excellent sports atmosphere. Friendly staff, recently experiencing some HVAC issues with the opening of the Cigar bar.

Manager's dog bit my 4yo daughter. The staff knew and provided us with first aid materials. Meal was not comped. Crazy.

The back opens up to another bar with outdoor seating, very cool. The bartender out back took our drinks, I forgot her name but she was from California originally, La Jolla area? Anyways, very friendly and was attentive even with all the guests in need. We hung out for hours, meeting locals and enjoying drinks. Decided to order food and they had a cheese dip that was spot on. My wife ordered the steak salad and the steak was overcooked, but when asked how things were, they were quick to make it right, and brought out another steak to fix the issue. 5 stars! I hope they see this review and know that they are doing something right. I do wish they had better merch. I wanted to buy stuff but was told their shirts shrink quite a bit after washing. Bummer.

A group of about 8 of us went out for drinks Saturday (5/2/26). We were having a great time (respectful, quiet, not causing a problem). Last call hit at 1:30 so we decided one more drink before we went our ways home. 10 mins later we're were asked to leave the courtyard and head inside - not a problem. We will finish our drinks inside. 5 minutes after that, we were asked to take our last sips and leave. 15 mins before the posted closing time. Again, we weren't causing a problem, weren't loud, weren't disruptive. This was a group of 8, most of us well into our 40s (or older). But they were telling all guests to leave at 1:45a?? Just after we bought drinks? The posted hours say they close at 2a. Not 1:45a. Most of us left half finished drinks. The large bouncer was nice enough, the tiny one in a hoodie with glasses was totally unprofessional. So beware. The Blind Tiger has what it takes to remain a Charleston institution. Their staff, might ruin that chance.

Stopped in mid day on Saturday and didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes which isn't too bad. You can walk around the hotel while you wait. It had charcoal simple syrup and lava salt which gave it such an interesting flavor. We shared the Pimento cheese appetizer and I am so glad we ordered. It was so good and the presentation was beautiful. I don't normally enjoy pimento but I did here. My parents shared the turkey club and said it was great. Will always stop by when I'm in Charleston. Great place to watch a game if you can get a seat at the bar.

It sets the tone immediately, and the festive energy carries straight through the meal. We kicked things off with Bloody Marys and a Morning Fog -- simple, classic, and done right. For starters, we shared the Hula Hoisin Wings. They were definitely on the heavier side with the hoisin, but still absolutely delicious. The Mistletoe Mango Tuna Poke Tacos were a standout. They come as a small plate with three appetizer-sized tacos, and every bite was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Buddy the Elf Burger offers a choice of a single or double patty; ours was cooked perfectly. The smoky bacon really brought everything together and gave it that extra "wow" factor. We rounded things out with the O Come, All Ye Fried Rice with Hanger Steak, which was another winner -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. As if the meal wasn't great enough on its own, we happened to be there while Emily Curtis was performing. She's truly incredible and added such a fun, memorable vibe to the day. I'd be remiss not to mention Kevin our server. Go see him. He was great. The whole team works great together. Don't let the bar-like atmosphere fool you -- Prohibition is far from your typical bar food or bar scene. There's a great space in the back, and the elevated menu makes it absolutely worth the visit. A festive, flavorful, all-around fantastic experience.

The restaurant is nicely spread out, so even when it's busy, you don't feel crammed in or shouting over the table next to you. There are plenty of TVs and good sightlines, making it easy to stay locked into the game without feeling overwhelmed. The Eats The food holds its own for a sports pub. I've ordered the wings and a couple of burgers, and they've always been enjoyable. That said, the real MVP here is the nachos. Loaded, satisfying, and perfect for sharing -- they're easily the best thing on the menu in my opinion and my go-to order every time. The Service Service has been consistently solid. The wait staff works their sections well, greets you quickly, and gets orders in without long waits. Parting Thoughts If you're looking for a reliable place to watch a game with good food and enough space to be comfortable, Charleston Sports Pub is a strong choice.
