Great option for easy bar food and laid back atmosphere. Super easy parking, mostly bar or high top seating but they also have a little backyard area. The wings were great as were the fries. The bartender was super nice and speed of service was as expected. read more

The Pub on 61 is a fun divy pub with lots to offer. There have darts, billiard tables, and corn-hole boards. They also host plenty of events to include trivia weekly. The food is typical American pub food. The wings; either bone in or boneless, are great with plenty of flavors available. The smash burger is the absolute best! They would also recommend the pub favorite French Dip. The drink prices are very reasonable. They have a large selection of local brews as well as popular brands. read more

Stopped in with the kids on Sunday to grab some food. Good local bar with tons of locals who know each other, pool tables, some TVs, friendly staff, decent bar food on a limited menu, and phenomenal prices. Really refreshing to pay what I would consider normal prices for a burger and fries. Food was fast despite us being there an hour before Super Bowl kickoff. Typical local bar ambience... everyone seems to know each other, folks are there to talk, hangout, and have a drink or three. J.Ja read more

Good bar on 61. Good service and food. Great location on Ashley River Road! I look forward to my next visit!

Local dive bar with decent food. Wings were very good. Bartender was friendly. Not really a place for younger kids although I've never been there for lunch. Beer is cold with a decent selection. Overall, above average dive bar. I changed my 4 star to 5 because the bar is a solid 4.8. Yelp should allow for fractional stars. I very rarely give 5 stars. No one's perfect :) read more

Brianna our server was amazing! She easily handled the whole bar plus the tables. We asked a lot of questions because we're not locals. And she was very gracious. This is a total local spot with great food and great ambience. Excellent music! Hail the 80s!! Nachos were GREAT with the chicken added. read more

Diverse sums up the music, clientele, and staff.. I'm happy to be part of the regulars and scene. Celebrations every night.

Hole in the wall. You'd never think of ordering here but you was I surprise. Their wings especially the hot honey mustard melted in my mouth. Their fries are fire, don't let this place fool ya their food is great. read more

BEST WINGS IN CHARLESTON! While visiting town I was craving wings and I found The Pub on 61 online and someone told me about it too, this is a cool local bar with live music nights, pool tables, darts and a jukebox! Super cheap drinks and bartender was very welcoming even tho I'm not a local. I had a couple beers and of course I ordered 6 Sweet Chili wings and 6 Old Bay wings, wings came out perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I definitely have to come back! read more

I came to pub on 61 for trivia as I found it on the trivia website I was surprised by how cool the bar is. Is everything you wish on a dive bar, cold cheap drinks, fun games and amazing service. I had a couple of beers and snacked on the pretzel with queso which was very enjoyable and yet simple. Great neighborhood joint read more

It's a friendly neighborhood dive bar. Bar food. Service was pretty good. Not great. The server was not going to break any records for quickly getting to my order. Chair was a bit broken. Not for me. read more

I was visiting the area for a comedy show and stopped by here to kill some time. I was VERY nervous at first as it's your typical dive bar. Pool tables, chips on clips on the wall, tables and chairs from 1990. I was starving and decided to grab something to eat. It was the BEST sandwich I ever had. Wish I got a picture, but it was the special French onion shaved rib sandwich with Au ju and tater tots. It was like a grilled cheese and a French dip had the PERFECT baby. Very good food. Good vibes. Great service. 10/10 would recommend you stop by here. Don't let the sketchy looking exterior keep you from here read more

Love a dive bar and this place delivers! This is undoubtedly one of the best burgers I have had, and drinks were good as well. Kudos to Austin the chef and Brianna the bartender!!! Awesome place!!! read more

Food was fantastic, great burger. It's a dirt bar, with great people and great service.

Bartenders are less than friendly. Food is mediocre at best. Order chicken sandwich with no mayo. Of course it arrived with mayo on both buns. The bartender was less than friendly so I did not feel at all comfortable telling him about it. Bartenders are supposed to make you feel welcome and wanna be at a place. Not the case here. read more

The Pub on 61 is hands down led by the most amazing staff in Charleston. The food and drinks are not only of amazing quality but great prices as well! Just to mention some names Patrick, Mike, and Cait are just a few of the most kind and caring bartenders you'll run into. Definitely stop by for a great time! read more

This has become our local place for a great burger and beer. Don't expect the food to come quickly, so relax and have a good beer - they have a good selection on tap. One of the best burgers around - I recommend the black and blue burger with onion rings (just a few - but great). If you are really hungry, try the chili cheese fries - tasty and filling. Chicken wings are also excellent. We are working through the menu and not found anything that was not top notch. This is a great local place to hang out and relax. read more

Great atmosphere, awesome staff, lots of TVs to choose from for your sport while hanging with friends. Food is pub style with GREAT BURGERS and WINGS. You can be indoor or outdoor. Yard on the side of the bar has corn hole. They have live music, pool and darts. Whatever you are looking for when you want to chill it's here. Everyone welcome... They LOVE veterans. I LOVE THIS PLACE read more

Great food and great company!!! Mike behind the bar worked fast and efficient. I got the hot buffalo wings and they were absolutely delicious. My friend got the burger and was more than pleased. Can't wait to come back! read more

Best hamburgers around!! Always cooked the way you like it. This is pretty much a self serve as we usually have to place our orders at the bar but they do bring it to your table. This is your typical dive bar but so friendly both the staff and customers. We really love this place! read more

This place sucks. You sit at a table and nobody even recognizes you're there. They just look at you from behind the bar and ignore you. Then after 15 minute you have to go to the bar to order your food and drink, just to turn around and find someone else sitting at the table you were sitting at. It's also as much of a dive bar as you can get. Super dated and dumpy inside. The food however is decent, but beyond that, this place sucks. Not once did the waiter/bar tender come to give me a refill nor ask anything nor bring me my check. I had to go to the bar to ask for a refill and my check. Never seen such poor service in my life. read more

I have had such a fun time each time I have come here. Not a fancy bar. Very neighborhood pub feel. This last time I came for the trivia night and it was really fun. Not even realizing they had food beyond wings or fries, we asked for a menu and wow, I didn't expect that many options. I ordered lumpia- freshly made by a local lady from the Philippines. Then I decided to try a salad, it was a basic house side salad type. The tots were good, and so was the $5 burger with any toppings I wanted! In the back outside there are cornhole boards, inside there are pool tables and darts, and a couple arcade games like maybe bowling. Good neighborhood pub with a variety of beers on tap and good selection of liquor too. read more

Great dive bar. Friendly staff. Nice selection of beers. Good food. Three pool tables and two dart boards

Ah, my home away from home. Love it here! The entire team is welcoming and genuine. The bar food is on point too :)

First visit on a Sunday night, seems like a great neighborhood bar. Talking with a co-owner Ingrid, they attempt to have a band every Friday and Saturday night. Ingrid was also our bartender, made us two perfect rum and cokes. We each had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Awesome burger, fries were a little over done but edible. As of this writing...$5 burgers on Tuesday nights, that's well worth a visit for the value. Sunday's are $10 wings. This isn't Chili's or Henry's Rooftop, but if you're looking for good priced food and drinks off the beaten path...give them a visit. We will return to hear some music very soon. read more

This is our neighborhood Pub and are "second home". Drinks never go empty. There is always a friendly face behind the Bar. I should mention Mike, Mitch, Chastity, Stephanie, and Jenna! Also the beautiful face of the owner, Ingrid sometimes serves us behind the Bar. It doesn't end here though. The menu has some many options, and everything I have tried from the menu has been great! Again, great cooks in the kitchen. If Chastity is cooking, you will not be disappointed. You have got to check this place out. Totally not what you expect when you first drive into the park lot. Our number one hangout is Pub on 61! read more

We stopped in to grab some good old fashioned American burgers on our last night in town. The staff were really friendly, very helpful, and not at all judgmental when we said we didn't drink. Great little place, the food was delicious and the music was good, (when they weren't playing trivia, which was also fun to listen to even though we weren't playing), and they even welcomed my service dog with no hassles! read more
