While visiting town I was craving wings and I found The Pub on 61 online and someone told me about it too, this is a cool local bar with live music nights, pool tables, darts and a jukebox! Super cheap drinks and bartender was very welcoming even tho I'm not a local. I had a couple beers and of course I ordered 6 Sweet Chili wings and 6 Old Bay wings, wings came out perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I definitely have to come back! read more

The Pub on 61 is a fun divy pub with lots to offer. There have darts, billiard tables, and corn-hole boards. They also host plenty of events to include trivia weekly. The food is typical American pub food. The wings; either bone in or boneless, are great with plenty of flavors available. The smash burger is the absolute best! Good local bar with tons of locals who know each other, pool tables, some TVs, friendly staff, decent bar food on a limited menu, and phenomenal prices. Local dive bar with decent food. Wings were very good. Bartender was friendly. Not really a place for younger kids although I've never been there for lunch. Beer is cold with a decent selection. I was visiting the area for a comedy show and stopped by here to kill some time. I was VERY nervous at first as it's your typical dive bar. Pool tables, chips on clips on the wall, tables and chairs from 1990. I was starving and decided to grab something to eat. It was the BEST sandwich I ever had. Wish I got a picture, but it was the special French onion shaved rib sandwich with Au ju and tater tots. It was like a grilled cheese and a French dip had the PERFECT baby. Very good food. Bartenders are less than friendly. Food is mediocre at best. Order chicken sandwich with no mayo. Of course it arrived with mayo on both buns. This has become our local place for a great burger and beer. Don't expect the food to come quickly, so relax and have a good beer - they have a good selection on tap. One of the best burgers around - I recommend the black and blue burger with onion rings (just a few - but great). If you are really hungry, try the chili cheese fries - tasty and filling. This place sucks. You sit at a table and nobody even recognizes you're there. They just look at you from behind the bar and ignore you. Then after 15 minute you have to go to the bar to order your food and drink, just to turn around and find someone else sitting at the table you were sitting at. It's also as much of a dive bar as you can get. Super dated and dumpy inside. The food however is decent, but beyond that, this place sucks. Not once did the waiter/bar tender come to give me a refill nor ask anything nor bring me my check. I had to go to the bar to ask for a refill and my check. Not even realizing they had food beyond wings or fries, we asked for a menu and wow, I didn't expect that many options. I ordered lumpia- freshly made by a local lady from the Philippines. Then I decided to try a salad, it was a basic house side salad type. The tots were good, and so was the $5 burger with any toppings I wanted! In the back outside there are cornhole boards, inside there are pool tables and darts, and a couple arcade games like maybe bowling. First visit on a Sunday night, seems like a great neighborhood bar. Talking with a co-owner Ingrid, they attempt to have a band every Friday and Saturday night. Ingrid was also our bartender, made us two perfect rum and cokes. We each had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Awesome burger, fries were a little over done but edible. As of this writing...$5 burgers on Tuesday nights, that's well worth a visit for the value. Sunday's are $10 wings. This isn't Chili's or Henry's Rooftop, but if you're looking for good priced food and drinks off the beaten path...give them a visit. We will return to hear some music very soon. read more

This is our neighborhood Pub and are "second home". Drinks never go empty. There is always a friendly face behind the Bar. I should mention Mike, Mitch, Chastity, Stephanie, and Jenna! Also the beautiful face of the owner, Ingrid sometimes serves us behind the Bar. It doesn't end here though. The menu has some many options, and everything I have tried from the menu has been great! Again, great cooks in the kitchen. If Chastity is cooking, you will not be disappointed. You have got to check this place out. Totally not what you expect when you first drive into the park lot.
