Chicken tenders
Lauren W.

Wow! Wish I could give this place 10 stars. From the service to the ambiance to the food. It was all fantastic. Our sever Christina was incredible she was so attentive and really made our night fun!! The Bartender (i didn't catch her name) went above and beyond for us as well to try their different sauces, and sample the different drinks on tap. They have great indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside so my son could play at the playground. He enjoyed it and made some friends. The honey mustard was unreal, the sweet tea vinaigrette on the salad needs to be bottled, and if you're a ranch lover their ranch is delish!! The country fried steak had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly and the chicken tenders had great flavor!! Literally everything we had was great! Can't wait to go back!! This is my new favorite spot.

Ceviche (spelling?)

Very cute restaurant with indoor & outdoor setting along with an outdoor bar. BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI courtesy of the beautiful & talented Monet (bartender at the main bar). I am a connoisseur of espresso martinis and I've had a lot of bad ones in my life so I can tell you right now....This is the best one I've had on US soil.. Food was great! Waiter was Jimmy, he was busy but set expectations & had a great way of pointing out his favs & popular menu items! Loved his presentation abilities! Pros: A lot! Food, atmosphere & drinks. Cons: only thing we did not like was the ceviche (spelling). We will be back! Thank you for a great night out with friends!

Collards & filet

This is a very typical local restaurant with an assortment of surf and turf options. Nothing too fancy on the menu and well-priced for what it is. Not many tables and it shares space with a bar. My service was totally fine, very pleasant and food came out fast. I had a filet & collards and the Ice House salad; steak was borderline between rare and medium rare (I ordered medium rare) and was fine. Collards were nothing special though I never have high expectations there, salad was actually pretty tasty and didn't need dressing. Overall the price was not too high, it was actually well priced for what I got, so I can't complain. Like a few other places in Summerville, the site makes it look much more upscale than it actually is. J.Ja

Caesar salad, white bean and sausage soup, and my favorite IPA

Give The Ice house a try, I'm glad we went back again. On this second visit we dined inside on the upper floor, and it was a cozy vantage spot overseeing the 1st floor bar and tables. The ambiance from the brick walls, low lights, fireplace arch, and ceiling beams gave TIH an authentic feel. The food didn't disappoint. My Caesar salad was good, and my white bean and sausage soup was excellent - tops that I've had. TIH has a full local draft beer menu, and so I enjoyed my favorite IPA. Our waitress was polished and polite, and contributed to our relaxing late lunch. We'll be back.

Nice pub in the heart of downtown Summerville. The restaurant was unfortunately closed, I will go back to try the food and do another review. The bar however is up the stairs, nice live music from some talented musicians. I let the bartender know it was my first time and he gave me a bumper sticker and some matches as souvenirs... that was nice. My drink was amazing. The interior was so cool to look at! I would go back for sure.

Amazing food and service at an eclectic bar/restaurant in Summerville. I highly recommend the steak bites and the goat cheese salad.

YUM. This place is fun AND has good food! We got lucky and unknowingly came when they had live…read moremusic and it was great! My husband and I came here on the first night we moved to SC from out of state. I ordered the smoked wings w/signature dry rub and a side salad. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak and was very excited about the house-made cheese-whiz. The wings were excellent!! That dry rub is a chef's kiss. And that delicious side salad was a HUGE portion size! We already can't wait to come back here again! :)

The shrimp had a very strong, fishy smell that was honestly off-putting, and the flavor matched. It almost seemed like the addition of wine was an attempt to mask the issue rather than enhance the dish. The grits were also disappointing--lumpy and lacking the smooth, creamy texture you'd expect. That said, not everything missed the mark. My coworkers ordered the chicken salad, chicken wrap with sweet potato fries , blackened chicken pasta, and bruschetta, and all of those dishes were absolutely delicious and well prepared. They definitely helped redeem the overall experience and show the kitchen is still capable of putting out great food. Adri was our server, and she was an absolute delight--a total gem. She never missed a beat and was completely on top of everything. I also appreciated the convenience of the location. I parked across the street in the garage, which was well lit, safe, and very close. There's plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, which adds to the appeal. I'm hoping this was just an off day, because Montreux has been a favorite in the past. I'd love to see the shrimp and grits return to the quality they were once known for. Located in a safe part of Summerville by Lowes, Charleston Sports Pub is a decent place to hang…read moreout. Walking up it doesn't seem that big but once you go in, it has a lot more space than I anticipated. Moreover, its very clean with a well-stocked bar and enough wait staff to maintain quick turnarounds for food and drinks. That said my waitress was a bit slow and odd but she was nice. As for the food the burger was pretty good. I noticed it wasn't overcooked while a little under seasoned. The toppings of lettuce and tomato were fresh and the fries.... they were fries, nothing special. I absolutely loved the pretzel as it was moist and chewy with nice chunks of salt clinging to dear life on the pretzel. I'm not sure about the sauces as the only sauce I like is a beer cheese sauce. I guess the objective is to buy a beer to enjoy with the pretzel? Regardless the queso and honey mustard sauces where average. I'd tweak this, but that's just me. As for the beverages, they were fine. My bourbon and lime was good and the chilled Tito's shots were perfect while being none to costly. As for the ambiance, there are literally tvs of all sizes everywhere. I don't believe there's a seat in the house that doesn't have a good view and sports were on everywhere. Also the people were very nice and my table made friends with the table next to us, giving it that home town feel. Overall I didn't try much on the menu, but the food I did try was decent, but not great. Then again, this is a pub so focus on the drinks and friends while watching sports and everything will be alright. I'll be back one day as I think this is a decent place to stop by for some suds after a hard day's work.

I normally dislike 1/2 lb burgers, they are too much and taste like boring slabs of tasteless meat but this one was pretty decent. The bacon was great but it needed more than the two strips I got. I liked the fries a ton and I am picky about fries. The thing keeping this out of five stars is the pricing. A $17 burger in Summerville is absurd. They want $13 for a pretzel with cheese. This is just way too much money. I have had better burgers for much less in Summerville, and these are King Street prices. If they drop a few bucks off this meal, it's a great place to go. J.Ja

The drinks are priced on the higher end, but the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes it feel approachable. We also love that they offer seasonal and holiday cocktails, which is right up our alley. We brought Luna along and sat on the patio, which was a nice option. I would love to see heaters added outside to make the patio more comfortable on cooler nights. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Fireside Chat (served warm), made with Four Roses Bourbon, Croft Tawny Port, apple cider, orange juice, grenadine, turbinado sugar, allspice, and clove ($15). I really enjoyed the flavor profile--warm, well-balanced, and perfect for the season. That said, I was a little disappointed that my second drink wasn't garnished nearly as nicely as the first, especially given the price. Flavor-wise, though, both were very good. My husband started with the Gingersnap, which includes Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch whisky, Disaronno almond liqueur, butterscotch liqueur, spiced ginger syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, cookie rim, and nutmeg ($16). He enjoyed it but felt it was definitely a one-drink cocktail due to how sweet, creamy, and heavy it was. He also ordered the Smoked Maple-Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon fat-washed bourbon, spiced maple syrup, tobacco bitters, and a salted brown sugar rim ($16). This one was a miss for him--too sweet, with the maple and smoke overpowering the drink, and not much bacon flavor coming through. That said, the presentation was excellent; watching the smoke being lit was a highlight, and I even grabbed a video of it. Our total came to about $71 before tip, and we didn't order any food, so it's definitely on the pricier side. Still, for the ambiance, creative cocktails, and overall experience, I think it's worth it--especially for a relaxed night out with a more elevated feel.
