I came for a quick bite after the Thanksgiving market and our service was quick and efficient! We were in and out probably within 20-30 minutes. We ordered the nachos and patty melt - the patty melt was delicious!! Very fresh and filling, fries were hot and crispy. The nachos were pretty good for not having any meat on it. Our server was amazing and brought everything quickly and got us in and out just as we were hoping (without rushing us)!

This is one of our favorite places to go-- morning (brunch), noon or night! That have fun cocktail specials each month and $12 mimosa carafes (OJ, pineapple or cranberry) all the time. The hummus plate is a great app to share with whipped feta and drizzled honey- served with veggies and pita (so for sharing GF & G-filled alike)! Their burgers live up to the name for the Char-bar and have a nice flavor. I also quite enjoy their rice bowl with blackened chicken. Plenty of seating inside and out. Parking is the only downside here, but after many of the surrounding businesses in the Avondale area close, this becomes less of an issue. The staff are welcoming and friendly and will accommodate most sized-parties.

Great atmosphere, great food, great prices, and great service. If you're looking for a low-key and fun dining experience, this is the place. It has indoor/outdoor seating and fun, colorful decorations. Burgers seemed to be their specialty. I got the spinach salad. Others at the table got burgers, sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. The mocktails were delicious. Highly recommend trying Triangle! Only consideration is the small parking lot, so plan ahead.

A great get together wishing a very talented guy farewell. Pedro Toro best wishes and a safe trip to take care of your Mom. It wasn't too crowded so we had plenty of quiet time to share. We enjoyed our luncheon with family and friends. I had the Salmon and asparagus which was very good. I had to finish a delicious lunch with a loaded Reese's Shortcake loaded with Reese's pnut butter cups and whipped cream. Always an enjoyable place to have fellowship food with Family and Friends. Parking is available but can get packed quickly.

Service was amazing by the employee with the beard and black hat! Food was so tasty and yummy. For a random spot in the block I'm shocked to find this spot hit the spot! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in SC.

Saw this place on way out of town; was looking for late lunch options. Food was great-we had the brisket-Mac lollipops, Low country egg rolls, and burger with sweet sticks (sweet potato fries dusted in cinnamon sugar) with apple butter. Apple crisp for dessert! Staff was so nice and efficient, laid back, casual with great food!

My girlfriends and I tried Triangle in West Ashley for brunch since we hadn't been there in several years. The place was bustling when we got there and we had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a table, but that was ok since we got some mimosas at the bar while we waited. For our food My friend next to me got the Hog Wild Frittata which had pimento cheese, caramelized onions, scallions, cheese and pulled pork BBQ on top of fluffy eggs. She ate every single bite of it. My other 2 friends both got the Chorizo Hash that was served atop crispy home fries with chorizo, onions, peppers, cheese, scallions, sunny egg and drizzled with a lime crema. They both said it was really good and filling. I got the Captains Breakfast Quesadilla, which isn't like a normal breakfast burrito. Instead of sausage or bacon in it, it had grilled shrimp as the protein. The quesadilla was huge and very good. Additionally, our server was extremely friendly and helpful.

Triangle has definitely stepped up their game recently! I had Sunday brunch here last weekend and we were so pleased with the whole experience. I had the steak fritatta and a couple mimosas. The fritatta was delicious and the carafe of mimosas was just what we needed! The service was excellent and I would definitely return again soon!

The food was so good I COULD NOT STOP EATING . The service was so fast it was blinding. The ambiance was good fr there were rainbow lights. Also my cousin thought the drinks were so good she drank 2 pitchers of sweet tea. (lol)

Triangle Char & Bar is still a good choice for pub grub in West Ashley/Avondale. I've returned many times since my review and haven't been disappointed. The brunch specials and burgers are good, including the black bean burger. You can find the latest specials on their Instagram or on signs in the restaurant. The prices are fair for the portion you receive. I do agree with a previous reviewer that the sweet potato fries are way too sweet and more like a dessert. Mimosas are always cheap and go down easy! Triangle sponsors local events such as the Avondale 5K, where they host an epic after party at the run/walk finish line, and proceeds benefit the Charles Webb Center. I'm glad to see a local business helping nonprofit organizations and special needs kids. The parking lot is small, so I usually park down the street at the grocery store (Harris Teeter) and walk over, then pick up any groceries I need.

This is the first time that I entered this restaurant. The staff greet you with a smile and hospitality. The service is awesome and quick fashioned. An omelette, bacon, grits, and mimosa made a great brunch on a Sunday! The meal in entirety was amazing and delicious albeit how simple the actual meal itself was. The interior is very appealing and decorative. Local artists are featured. The environmental design was very interesting also. Although slightly noisy, the atmosphere and vibe is chill and hipster-ish. It's that feeling when you see a lot of underground low brow art along with sports in the background. The staff and the diners alike have the cool funky awesome sauce vibe. Overall, the dining experience is excellent!

I got the classic burger with Brussel sprouts. $5 uncharge to swap fries for Brussel sprouts seemed a little steep for a quick burger joint but the Brussels were actually really good. Not sure what they were cooked in but it added a bunch of good flavor and there were a few pieces that had a nice crust on them. The burger was delicious. The buns were perfectly toasted so each bite had a nice buttery crunch to it. I don't know what's in their special sauce but it really brings everything together.

This time around I was dining with friends, which meant we got to order a whole bunch of dishes - a foodie's dream. We started with the Hunter Cattle Beef Tartare, topped with shoestring potatoes, smoked cheddar, and egg yolk jam. It was rich, flavorful, and while the presentation looked a bit like dog food, it was otherwise the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the table, we also shared the Roasted Carrots, served with chamomile honey, labneh, puffed rice, candied peanuts, and an olive crumble. I know, carrots aren't always a "must-order," but trust me - they were fantastic. We also couldn't pass up the Hearth-Baked Skillet Cornbread with Broadbent bacon crumble mixed throughout. Southern comfort food!!! For my entree, I ordered the Blueberry & Corn Salad, which was anything but an ordinary salad. Between the BBQ pecans, ricotta salata, bacon fat honey mustard, and fresh seasonal ingredients, every bite was packed with flavor. One friend ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo with compressed cantaloupe, marigold, and leche de tigre. It was bright, refreshing, and beautifully plated. Our other friend opted for the South Carolina Golden Tilefish, served with Kindlewood Farms summer squash and serrano, and it, too, was a hit. For drinks, one friend enjoyed a glass of wine while I ordered the Dragoon Punch. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed to learn my beloved Primrose Path was no longer on the menu. I even asked if they could make one, but unfortunately they were missing one of the ingredients. No worries, the Dragoon Punch was delicious and a worthy replacement. My friend and I sat at our table for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I finally flagged down a waitress, who apologized and explained they were short staffed. She took our drink order, and then a different server came over later to take our food order. I ordered the Mediterranean wrap with no onions, but it came out with onions anyway. Our server was nowhere to be found, so I started picking around them and eating the wrap. A few minutes later, she came back with the corrected wrap, but by then I'd already started eating the first one. The flavors of the wrap were actually good, but the texture of the chicken was awful. It was so off putting that it honestly made me nauseous. I only managed a few bites before I was done, and no one ever asked if everything was okay or why I had barely touched my meal. That said, the restaurant itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is what really stands out. It feels like you're dining inside a church, and I believe it actually is a restored church. Between the stained glass, the artwork, and the writing on the walls, it's a really unique and impressive space. I'd probably come back for drinks because the bar looked like it had a great vibe, and the bartender seemed to be providing excellent service. Next time, I'd definitely sit at the bar, but I don't think I'd order the food again.

I saw a woman who had just finished a conversation on her cell phone walking into one part of the L-shaped facility, so I followed her. "The host" asked whether I wanted to be seated inside or outside. I told him I had no preference. Landon, who became my server, then escorted me to the attached building, carrying menus and two glasses of water. Shortly after I was seated, Landon approached and asked if I would like a drink. I ordered a Margarita. Since I already knew what I wanted for my entrée, I also ordered the French Dip with French Fries. The French Dip arrived warm, but the fries were cold. When Landon inquired about my meal, I informed him of the situation. He immediately took the fries away. After I finished the French Dip, I received the fries. I do not know whether they were the original fries that had been reheated or a fresh order. Regardless, these fries were hot. Shortly afterward, the young man who had originally asked where I wanted to sit came to my table and removed my dirty dishes. Landon then brought me my check. Due to the circumstances, I was given a discount on my bill. Anyway, I did not hear either of them ask whether I wanted dessert. Perhaps because of my complaint, they just wanted me out. Oh well-- their loss! I really wanted to tried their Sundae! Landon again apologized for the cold French fries. He provided very good service throughout my meal, so I do not fault him for the kitchen's mistake. Based on the restaurant's L-shaped design, with two separate buildings and the kitchen located in one building while some of the dining area is in the other, I realize that meals may become cooler by the time they reach the table. Therefore, I would highly recommend requesting a table in the building where the bar is located. Lastly, serving water in a plastic cup, in my opinion, gives the restaurant a rather cheap appearance. Considering the overall setting, I would expect water to be served in a proper glass.
