Grabbed a quick brunch after visiting a nearby yoga studio. They had several doors and we walked in a back one. No one acknowledged us, finally had to ask someone if we seat ourselves or how that works . A waitress finally told us where the hostess stand was. A weird way to start the visit. The hostess was really sweet. Had the BELT sandwich and it was really good. Cereal milk latte was not so good. Left 3/4 of it. Would try again in the future

Came here after yoga and was blown away by how great the food is. Located in the shopping center off Clements Ferry. Our waitress was nice and gave great recommendations. I got the chef's special omelet and it was the best chicken omelet I'd ever had. It came with crispy potatoes and sauce on the side. The location was clean and had a modern feel to it. I would definitely go back.

Nice option for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the ever growing Clements Ferry part of Charleston. The restaurant is bright and inviting. We had our choice of seating with few diners at 11:00 am. The menu is designed to please a variety of dining preferences with prices to match. I had the Omelette of the Day ($10.00) (with an upcharge of $3.00 for egg whites), accompanied by a generous portion of house breakfast potatoes. Loaded with bacon, a yellow cheese and diced tomatoes, topped with shredded mozzarella, it was delicious, though small. (The photo is deceiving.) Toast or a muffin would have made a nice addition. The potatoes were the right temperature and tasty. My friend had the Prime Rib Melt ($17.00) which looked yummy. Served as a sandwich, the right- sized slices of sourdough were filled with tender prime rib, caramelized onions, pepper Jack cheese, aioli and bacon. This beautiful sandwich was served with the choice of a side. It was hard to pass up the pimento grits. Our server was attentive and friendly. Go! There's so much to like about Coastal Skillet!

Stopped here after running a trail 5k (so I was slightly muddy). This place is in the new-ish development and everything in the surrounding area was so nice! This restaurant was clean, inviting, and the food was delicious. They have a full bar and had some good local beers on tap. The restaurant wasn't super busy, which was surprising. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got a skillet. His portion size was on the smaller side but I think it was the perfect amount of food. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING. We live kinda far from this spot but if we are ever in the area we will be going to this place. Also...the outside is dog friendly!

I was visiting my sister from out of state and we decided to try costal skillet. The restaurant has a great vibe. Big windows everywhere and was very bright inside. There is also seats outside that is part of the bar which I thought was very nice. They had a solider table which I thought was extremely cool and thoughtful. Our server was great and attentive. I ordered the vegetable panini and added grilled chicken. The sandwich was delicious. It was toasted perfectly and crunchy every bite. My sister got the Buffalo chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. She loved the Buffalo sauce it was the perfect amount of spice. My mom got the costal skillet - only complaint she had was her poached egg was over cooked and it wasn't runny other than that 10/10. Great atmosphere. The bar section was cute and they also have an outside area. Will definitely be back!

In from out of the town and super excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, the were closed for "summer vacation" BUT they didn't change any of their information online so we drove 30 minutes to drive up to a closed restaurant. Just bad business.

This place is a great new brunch spot! The bar service was fanatic, the inside is a little small, so get there early to grab a table on weekends. The prices are very reasonable and the food is fantastic! The decor in the restaurant is great and I can't wait to come back and sit on the patio!

We decided to give this restaurant another chance after our first visit wasn't that great. Unfortunately this time around wasn't any better. When we walked in, both servers were sitting at the table eating watermelon and one yelling at us that someone would be right with us. Unfortunately our server was just extremely unfriendly. We weren't greeted, she didn't introduce herself to us. The food did not impress at all. The grits were very watery, the tomatoes in the panini weren't ripe, and the country potatoes seemed to have been drenched in hot sauce. No hot sauce mentioned on the menu. It was altogether a very disappointing experience and we will not be back. There are too many other options out there to be treated this way.

Ilya was awesome. Thanks for the beautiful Blue Hawaiian.

Ilya was awesome! My friend couldn't decide what drink to have so he offered to make her something. He came back with a beautiful Blue Hawaiian.....so refreshing and light! I ended up ordering one as well. Thank you Ilya!

The quality of the bourbon and the information shared by CJ made this a great experience and one I would recommend. It was fun to chat with CJ and learn more about his experience working in the industry and Charleston. It was great to also be able to try their oysters, new slider, and wings. All of the dishes we got were unique spins on classics and flavors we wouldn't be able to get anywhere. All of the whiskeys were very smooth but we could definitely tell the higher proof ones. I also tried their house made ginger beer to have in case a chaser was needed and honestly it is the best ginger beer I've ever had! I can't wait to come back to try more of their drinks especially something with their ginger beer and other menu items.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a bright, cheerful space, flowers everywhere and the welcoming smell of fresh waffle cones being made right behind the counter. The staff? Absolutely wonderful & intimate comedy show setting. This is an up close and personal experience,…read morewhich is harder to find in the past few years. This was our first visit and excited to come back! The building is attached to Kings BBQ for delicious before show bites. We went for their "Golden Hour" and loved every moment. Glad we got there early because the parking lot does fill up quickly. There is additional parking around the venue, if it's full when you arrive. The entrance leads directly into a large bar area, with seating along the whole counter. Basically this area is half of the building so is surprisingly large. They offer craft cocktails, local beers, and wine by the glass. The second half of the building is the stage and seating. Personal space is a premium here as every spot is used for the audience. We saw 3 two seaters tables along the back wall as welk as a few tables in the front row directly at the edge of the stage. Both areas are considered "upgraded" seating/tickets. Use that info when buying tickets. The rest of the seats (at least for our show) are open seating. My suggestion is not to wait too long to find seating once the doors open. Not that there is a bad seat, but I do like to have choices. We had two openers and the main headliner for our show. Everything ran smoothly, with good volume and pacing. They then had a merch area set up after the show, back in the lounge/bar area. This got a little extra cosy but everyone was respectful. We would 100% come back for another show!

First off I love that it's a full service bar and eating at the bar is no problem. Second I absolutely love they sell pitchers of beer. Not many taps, but still pitchers. And it's mostly local beer. I was with my husband and we wanted to try several things and took recs from the bartender who was awesome. We ordered the pork dumplings, the scallion pancake and the spicy sichuan hot karaage rice bowl. And we made it a combo with miso soup and an egg roll for $4. The pork dumplings were SO good. I could eat a meal of those alone. They were dense and flavorful and the dipping sauce was slightly spicy. The scallion pancake was a surprise delight. It was crispy and not too greasy again with a delicious dipping sauce. The miso soup...chefs kiss. It looked like ordinary miso soup but there was something extra that we really loved!! And the egg roll was big and juicy and fried and wonderful. It's a veggie egg roll but don't let that fool you. So much flavor and again the sweet chili dipping sauce left us drooling. Most of those sauces are too sweet but this was the perfect blend and the perfect spice level. The rice bowl was full of flavor!! The spice on this is quite a lot so make sure you can handle heat if you order the "hot" version. But again lots of flavor not just hot. Thank god we didn't order anymore food because this was plenty for the two of us to leave full and honestly we could've had leftovers. We will 1000% be visiting again and fully understand the hype around this phenomenal restaurant!!

All the dishes we ordered, from the miso soup and pierogis with salsa macha, to the karaage-don and peanut noodles, were savory and satisfying to eat. The texture and appearance of the chicken for the karaage-don bore more of a resemblance to General Tso's chicken with its battered and crunchy exterior, and it didn't quite have the tender and juicy interior I was hoping for, but I enjoyed the lemon mayo pairing which resulted in a flavorful finish. The Peanut Noodles reminded me of certain iterations of Dan Dan Noodles and certainly tasted fine on its own, but adding the thick chunks of bacon/pork belly was essential in elevating this dish to the next level. The restaurant was very lively on a Thursday afternoon, and the staff very warm and inviting throughout our meal. My drink hit the mark for me, and I found the cocktail menu fun and creative. In fact, I would say "fun and creative" summed up our overall experience at Jackrabbit Filly. Just ask my daughter, who started dancing the entire lunch the moment she saw the disco lights in the bathrooms.
