I have always heard of Toast but finally decided to give it a try since I was in the area. We ate outside since it was so nice out. The pancakes were so fluffy, obsessed! Highly recommend. The iced French toast latte was also very good. Service was fine. There is onsite parking available, restrooms were fairly clean.

    Smash burger with bacon

Enjoyed our breakfast smash burgers, crispy fries and coffees. I added bacon to mine and my husband added an over easy egg. Both were delicious. Loved the atmosphere especially the 80s dance vibe. We will definitely be back whenever in town. Our server, Lori was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of with refills for the ride home. Meals are large enough to share if you don't like leftovers. Great place, thanks Toast!

This is a great little breakfast place in mount pleasant. We needed a place to stop on our way from isle of palms to Boone hall and this spot popped up. The inside needs a little revamping but our waitress was super sweet. I ordered a Nutella latte to start and it was good but small and a little overpriced. All of the food however was top notch. We started out with the beignets which were super tasty; not what you think of in terms of a traditional beignet these were more dense and smaller but still great. Then I got the roasted veggie omelet and it was huge and really good. Everyone enjoyed their meals with an eggs Benedict and the Carolina ham omelette!

Exceptional service! Love the ambiance, small place with a lot of seating. The food was amazing. The blue crab and shrimp omelette was so good. The filling was well seasoned. Their biscuits ate huge and fluffy. The steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the Hawaiian mimosas. Everything was delicious. Give this place a try!!!

This was my first time going here and I'm glad I stopped. I was able to get a seat at the bar so I was seated within two minutes. The server at the bar was great and very attentive. I ordered the crab and shrimp omelette with homefries and everything was great.

It was my first experience at Toast! The Belgium waffle with sausage patties was delicious. The Beignet's made here remind me of Cafe Du Monde. Hot and fried to perfection! My friend and I enjoyed our Easter Sunday brunch with fast and amazing service. We were seated as soon as we walked into the restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great brunch in the area.

Really nice spot - everyone is really nice from seating to wait staff. Ambiance is comfortable alot of seating and practically no wait for seating. Food was solid not life changing fried chicken biscuit is a good size but doesn't come with any sides and the chicken and gravy could've used more seasoning in my opinion. French toast was a delight and a very nice size it tasted better the more i ate versus the first bite but it's definitely a must order. All in all i would come back if I'm in area, also they have a fresh juice machine so definitely get some orange juice but $12 for a large is pretty steep so you've been warned

This is a chain breakfast spot with nothing to write home about. Our server was amazing! so full of life and very attentive. I had the BLT with sweet potato fries. The bacon was crisp but the french fries were probably the highlight of my meal! we had some peach Bellini's but no breakfast drink specials.

Very nice dining area. Clean and spacious with friendly staff. My husband's classic breakfast if two fried eggs, grits, toast, and sausage links was perfectly prepared and filling. My cup of She Crab Soup was decadent and addictive, as were the two creamy poached eggs on my Classic Benedict with grits. Definitely recommend!

The space is large yet cozy, and the staff couldn't be kinder or more helpful. There's even a small gift shop with fun local items to browse. She was gracious, professional, and genuinely friendly the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back before you've even left. They have a full bar if you'd like a standard cocktail or any other creation I'm sure they could make it. Our server was great and very attentive. The kitchen stopped serving food at 10pm which I wish we had been told when we came in because I tried to order fries at 10:04 and was told I couldn't. Which I understand I just wish I had known. The place is pretty small and dark and very quiet so the perfect place for a calm nightcap.

It almost feels like they're annoyed people actually spend money there. I normally would feel bad leaving a negative review, but after reading multiple similar experiences, I honestly have no sympathy left. Hopefully this saves another group from wasting their time and money here. Our bachelor party spent roughly $700+ attending a show here. We were already admitted, had wristbands on, and before even entering the actual bar area, two of us were standing outside having a calm private conversation. We were not yelling, arguing, intoxicated, or causing any disturbance whatsoever. Out of nowhere, the owner approached us and immediately started asking strange, intrusive questions like, "Who are you guys?" The interaction quickly escalated into him screaming at us to "get off his porch" despite the fact that we were already paying customers admitted into the venue. The whole experience was bizarre, hostile, and incredibly unprofessional. There's a difference between maintaining security and going on a power trip. Plenty of bars in the area know how to treat customers with basic respect without creating unnecessary confrontations. For a place that depends on people spending money to survive, they do an impressive job making customers never want to come back.

On the coastal Atlantic, we recommend Acme Low Country Kitchen. You get five-star food in a rustic setting that could benefit for a bit of a makeover -- but only a touch or two. Excellent service compliments the food. On our plate: The "Light: House, including sauteed shrimp, seared scallops and a house-made, fresh crab cake that comes with a caveat that a shell chip or two might be mixed (we call that authentication). All were perfectly prepared and ample sized. This wasn't a shrimp-and-chips drive-through; this was a meal. Our sides: Collards (this is the low country) and fried Brussel sprouts, again well prepared. Price: $38.25 and among the higher-priced items on the seafood-heavy menu but worth it. Others in our party, including two non seafood eaters, chose the pecan fried chicken (two breast with one each going home because of the size) with another going with the Carolina Duo of the chicken and short ribs. Will we return? Yes. There are other options we've yet to try as our visits to Charleston increase but this was a real treat. Even better, it is near the fabled Dingy beach bar where we ducked in to watch the Kentucky Derby. We could spend our retirement years at The Dingy but that's another review to come. Acme is a 4.5-star review with the only points shaved because it just needs a little updating (after the season, perhaps). The food and service more than make up for it.

We walked in and the place was emptier than a church on a Wednesday night, yet somehow we were told to head on over to the bar, wait for a table, and go ahead and order ourselves a drink. Didn't make much sense, but we did as we were told. Then we stood there a good 10 minutes while the bartender, who let us know he's studying to be a dentist up in Spartanburg, was busy chatting away with another customer like we weren't even there. When he finally got around to us, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. But the real kicker came after we finally got our drinks. The manager came up, and I kid you not, told us we had to leave the restaurant and go out to the parking lot to finish them. No explanation, just attitude, and not a polite one either. To be honest, the manager seemed like she might have had a little too much Easter spirit, if you catch my drift. The whole interaction was downright combative and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me, though, was the poor hostesses and waitstaff. They apologized to us over and over and quietly let us know this kind of situation is something they deal with on a daily basis. We even heard her speaking sharply to another customer, which made it clear this wasn't just a one time issue. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a bad trip to the dentist and cost about the same as a root canal. All in all, it was a mess from start to finish, rude, confusing, and about as un Southern hospitality as you can get. I would think twice before going back, y'all.
