I ordered the Western-style omelet with potatoes, onions, and peppers, while the Mrs. had the avocado toast. Everything was absolutely spectacular! Fresh, flavorful, and the kind of brunch that has you planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. A special shout-out has to go to our server, Shannon. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, she treated us like family. Friendly, funny, attentive, and genuinely one of those people who makes your meal even better. Outstanding customer service! What really stood out was the atmosphere. The staff were laughing, dancing, and clearly enjoying working together. You could tell everyone genuinely loves being there, and that positive energy spreads throughout the whole restaurant. It made for such a fun and relaxed brunch experience. The menu has something for everyone, the sweet tea was spot on, the mimosa specials looked fantastic, and the portions definitely won't leave you hungry. If you're looking for a great brunch spot in Mount Pleasant, this is one I can highly recommend. 5 Stars Three thumbs up from me! We'll definitely be back. Met up with my friends this morning to have breakfast at Toast in Mt Pleasant. Our server: Lori , wasn't a very pleasant person. She seemed upset and angry during our entire visit this morning. She made angry faces at customers. She talked under her breath about customers that she seemed to not like. 100% of the time we overheard her greeting customers; she would say things like, " we are understaffed. I can't get to your right now, I'm too busy. We overheard her telling people: give me 5 minutes... ( News Flash )... Waiting for service in a restaurant for 5 minutes seems like an hour). The atmosphere of this restaurant is terrible having to be treated so poorly by Lori. AND... I was very specific about how I wanted my meal, and Lori placed my order wrong. But she doesn't know that, because she never once asked us how our food was. She is an Angry Order Taker. Why would a restaurant hire someone that has ZERO Hospitality in her blood. Toast is a really good restaurant, but when the server treats people like this: something is not right. There is absolutely no way that management doesn't know about this woman's attitude towards guests and coworkers. It really felt as if Lori was going out of her way to show that she hates her job... Me and my friends will very likely return here to Toast. But we will request that Lori stay away!!! The Hospitality business has been struggling for years attracting quality employees, but if Lori is the best that you can hire; then do our community a service and close your doors. I have always heard of Toast but finally decided to give it a try since I was in the area. We ate outside since it was so nice out. The pancakes were so fluffy, obsessed! Highly recommend. Enjoyed our breakfast smash burgers, crispy fries and coffees. I added bacon to mine and my husband added an over easy egg. Both were delicious. Loved the atmosphere especially the 80s dance vibe. We will definitely be back whenever in town. Our server, Lori was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of with refills for the ride home. This is a great little breakfast place in mount pleasant. We needed a place to stop on our way from isle of palms to Boone hall and this spot popped up. The inside needs a little revamping but our waitress was super sweet. I ordered a Nutella latte to start and it was good but small and a little overpriced. All of the food however was top notch. We started out with the beignets which were super tasty; not what you think of in terms of a traditional beignet these were more dense and smaller but still great. Stopped in at 10:30 on a Wednesday. The service was extremely slow. We waited close to 10 minutes before anyone even visited our table. When our server did eventually visit our table, we were ready to order our food. After we ordered our food, we never saw the server again until it was time to pay the bill. Stopped here on our way to Surfside Beach. I had french toast which was not cooked thoroughly. I also ordered bacon crispy. I had to send the bacon back to be cooked more. My husband had a traditional egg breakfast which was mediocre at best. I had to wait for waitress for refill on water. It was really noisy & appeared half the customers were there to drink. It was my first experience at Toast! The Belgium waffle with sausage patties was delicious. The Beignet's made here remind me of Cafe Du Monde. Hot and fried to perfection! Really nice spot - everyone is really nice from seating to wait staff. Ambiance is comfortable alot of seating and practically no wait for seating. Food was solid not life changing fried chicken biscuit is a good size but doesn't come with any sides and the chicken and gravy could've used more seasoning in my opinion. French toast was a delight and a very nice size it tasted better the more i ate versus the first bite but it's definitely a must order. All in all i would come back if I'm in area, also they have a fresh juice machine so definitely get some orange juice but $12 for a large is pretty steep so you've been warned read more

My food was edible but I have had so many better dishes in the area that it would be hard to come back here. If I was to think of a description for this dining experience, I would say I was letdown. I've been to Toast before, also in MP, but a different location and had a wonderful experience. I expected similar food, service, and atmosphere standards as per the other location. Boy was I mistaken. Firstly when we got there, we were sat at a table that felt very misplaced and in the way of everything. We were in the flow of traffic for the front door and constantly had people walking by and bumping us. After being sat, we waited 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged our presence. Once our server visited us, our drink order was taken. I got an iced coffee and confirmed multiple times what drink I wanted after my server misheard me the first time when confirming. Once we finalized the order, the server showed up with a hot version of the coffee. Normally I would shrug this off and say it's okay and leave a good review, but things just kept happening. When ordering our food, I ordered what is called the "power bowl" as per the menu we were handed. I also asked for no bread on my plate because I am gluten free. I know our server heard that because they repeated back to me "oh you want no bread too?" as to which I said "yes". When my food arrived, not only was the meal very different from the description on the menu, but the bread was right there. Luckily cross contamination of gluten is not a concern for me, but for others with gluten allergies this is a big deal. When it came time to check out, I noticed our server mentioned my meal being called the "power plate". I was very confused and so when I got back to the car, I looked up their menu online. It turns out when we were sat, the host gave us an old menu that was not up to date. Also turns out our server failed to mention that the "power bowl" that I ordered is no longer an item and that it's been changed. My only issue with this is the plate has a different description than the bowl and is something I would have never ordered. It's upsetting when everything you order at an establishment comes out wrong or completely like you never expected. In addition, the atmosphere of this location was not as clean or inviting as the other location I've been to. The only highlight of this experience is when I mentioned to the server that the coffee was supposed to be iced and they went back and corrected it and brought out the correct coffee. read more

I came in on 8/13/2023 for breakfast. The place was noticeably steady which is a good sign. The food was decent but not over the top, I had steak and eggs. The steak was slightly underdone but edible, the eggs were eggs. The exception to the initial food was the home fries and biscuit. The home fries were amazing and the biscuit was even better, one of the best I've had recently. The service was decent. The server brought me fresh orange juice which was delicious. The ambiance was inviting, music choices were good and it wasn't too loud. We landed here for breakfast because it was within walking distance of our hotel and we adore breakfast food. We actually came on both mornings of our Mount Pleasant stay because we enjoyed it so much the first day. We walked over just after 7am on Saturday and Sunday and there was no wait and a friendly staff waiting for us. The coffee was great - as much as I'd love a ginormous mimosa on vacation, I never drink when I'm solo with my kids, so extra coffee for me! We ordered entrée type situations the first morning and it was all amazing but it was SO MUCH FOOD. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was huge, as was the triple stack of pancakes my 12 year old got. Little man could hardly finish the biscuit so he just ate all the eggs until his tummy was happy. Because we are traveling, we didn't want to box anything up knowing it probably wouldn't fit in the hotel mini fridge and we probably wouldn't be around to eat it later anyway. The second morning we did an à la carte order and got exactly what we wanted in a more reasonable portion for us. The boys ordered orange juice, which was made fresh by this cool orange juice squeeze machine as we watched. Big entertainment value here, y'all. Our waitress was great, we had two wonderful breakfasts here and I'm not sad about not branching out! Our tummies are happy and we're ready for our adventure today before heading back home to toaster waffles and cereal. read more

We went for a late breakfast and were lucky to miss the breakfast crowd so we were able to be seated right away. They were still pretty full but our service was excellent. I had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and absolutely loved it. The biscuit was huge! I had to eat it with a knife and fork just to get it in my mouth. My husband got the Reuben. He said his was only 3 out of 5 stars. My son got the kids fried shrimp and he loved it but there were only four small shrimp so he was done in two seconds and we had to order him a side of bacon. For the price of the kids meal and side of bacon we should have just gotten him an adult meal of fried shrimp. Now we know for next time. read more

First time to Toast and it was pretty busy. It was not too noisy and is your average brunch spot. There was no wait for 2 people which was nice. The food and service were great. My husband got a regular coffee, Belgian waffle with bananas and blueberries, a side a bacon and some home fries and one scrambled cheesy egg. I got the peach Bellini, a frose, and the Brioche French toast with 2 pork sausage patties. We shared the Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Everything was delicious.
