    Farmhouse Skillet Hash -- $14.29

Let's just say I will not be rushing back here. And I especially won't be back on a Sunday. Not only are they under staffed to handle a busy restaurant, the food was not of the high quality we've received during past visits. Three of us arrived Sunday at 10:45 and left at 12:25. Almost 2 hours for a couple eggs and some potatoes is crazy.... Upon arrival we were told 30 minutes before we'd be seated. Fine. It was actually only about 20 minutes. Off to a good start that was instantly halted as we waited and waited and waited and waited and still no sign of a server. The guy running waters and sodas finally came over and ended up taking our drink orders, getting our drinks and taking our food orders. Once our food came out (which was a long wait too) not everyone's orders were correct. Mine was what I had ordered, but it only had a little of the cream sauce and most of my potatoes were burnt. Leaving a big dry bowl of inedible food I left. I also don't understand why restaurants claim to serve toast when what you receive is cold bread with a blob of unmelted butter. First Watch is not the only restaurant doing this, but they're on the list too! After so much waiting, you find yourself eating fast because you want to get the heck out of there. You also start to get antsy... we flagged down someone who finally got the person with our bill and got the heck out of dodge!

Excellent service. Loved the ambiance and decore of the restaurant. The french toast was delicioso alongside de coffee. Totally recommended!

The sandwich was really good, it was spicy. Luke was a great server. The place is nice and calm.

We've been to first watch many times and it's always been consistently good food. Service has generally been on point very little issues and the ambience is just standard American cuisine breakfast and lunch restaurant nothing over the top but it's very clean. If you're just looking for a good down home breakfast or lunch I would definitely recommend first watch. They have a fairly decent healthy selection and they've got a nice outdoor seating area. We enjoy sitting outside on the patio and having a pomegranate mimosa and a bloody Mary.

1 hour wait, another hour wait for our food to come out. Rude and unapologetic staff. Lukewarm food. Wilted salad. Up-charged on a side without letting us know. Just awful time, especially considering the price and in contrast with the Mt. Pleasant location--which my fiancé and I love.

Opon walking in, the vibe is very welcoming and laid back. The staff is super friendly at this location, welcoming you with a smile. Our waitress was very accommodating to my gluten allergy as well. This place is definitely a must go to! We recently moved to Summerville from James Island and we of course are looking for good breakfast joints (breakfast is my favorite meal!) First watch not only never disappoints but is also gluten free friendly! *bonus points for this* They ask when your order gluten free if it's a preference or an allergy. And when you are like my and say allergy, it comes with an "allergy flag"! I say this is beyond thoughtful that they put this detail on their food. The gluten free French toast with their blueberry chutney is AMAZING and their million dollar bacon is a must!! Such amazing flavors that pairs together. Corey got the chicken chunga today and it didn't disappoint. It was full of flavor as well as fulfilling! I didn't get picture of their mimosas, but they are on point. They are brought to you with a small glass of orange juice and a mini bottle of champagne, the perfect mixture for the perfect mimosa! I also got a Blue Booster to go. It's a fresh juice made of blueberry, fuji apple, lemon and basil. I added a wellness shot to mine (for free)! It's very refreshing and delicious! First Watch is definitely one of our go to breakfast places and we highly recommend them to all!

First watch has come a long way since eating it as a kid in Florida. I had no idea that they serve liquor drinks now. I got the an alcoholic cold brew with rum, Oatmilk and cinnamon. It was super tasty! For the food I got a breakfast sandwich with crispy potatoes. The service was fast and friendly. Would recommend for a casual breakfast!

Pineapple express juice has no alcohol and it is basically a pineapple juice, sweet but not too crazy. I enjoyed the food here. I would come here again.

First time visiting this location. Party of 1 and was able to sit at the bar. They had apparently been very busy because there were still remnants of previous diners, but it didn't take long for the young lady working that area to clean it off. I ordered a Pomegranate Sunrise, water, Floridian French Toast, and a side of bacon. Everything was tasty. The fruit on the French toast was nice and fresh. The brunch cocktail was made just right. Too bad they close at 2:30 because I could see myself stopping here after work for a beverage.

Meeting up for a coffee date I got to Magnolias a little early to settle in. The place is interesting and seems authentic, not like those damn yuppy and pretentious coffee shops with the late 90s liberal sitting in the corner writing the next "great American novel." No, this is a place pregnant ladies come with their family to get some coffee and what appears to be really good food. The place has nice wood tones on the floors and tables with simple seating and fake plants, which I can appreciate b/c I too have fake plants at my house b/c I kill live ones! As for the staff, they're prompt and receptive of what you want to drink as well as giving suggestions. I got there when a much younger late 20 something was working so I tried to spark up a conversation. The young lady looked American, blonde and cute but when she spoke pure Latino! Oddly enough I was meeting a 33-year-old Latino for our first date here (yes, I brushed up on my Spanish, but I just moved from Austin so np here). She was a nice lady but she did forget about my drink order so not as good of a barista as one might desire. But honestly, I was superficial at the moment and she was cute so I overlooked the imperfection. The case had some tasty looking treats like croissants but I refrained. My advice is try one! While I'm a medium roast coffee kind of guy and I like my coffee like the women I date; hot, sweet and blonde. I vary my selection by what I'm in the mood for, sometimes latte, sometimes hot or iced, sometimes mocha, you get the drift; and yes I'm talking about coffee (get your mind out of the gutter). But what I do appreciate is creativity in a beverage and a joint with the courage to put a creation on their menu, Magnolias doesn't have that as they're more straight forward. Instead I opted for the latte with 2 shots caramel, 1 vanilla and one toasted marshmello; try it you'll thank me later. I just wish they had more options like almond. Oh to add, I ordered my date a latte and she acted as if it was water and downed it in 5 minutes, so much for sipping and enjoying. In summary, Magnolia's coffee is really good with what looks as great food. Add to that they create an environment where one can feel safe while sitting inside or just stopping by for a quick interaction with nice employees while waiting for food and it's a recipe for success. While I didn't sample their "edibles" (how's my parking?) they looked wonderful. To finish, the employees are great people, the ambiance is fun and the coffee is great. Stop by if you want something good to pick yourself up or rub elbows with a future leader of America.

What's better than a piping hot cup of fresh Joe, or... for those who defy the norm, iced coffee?…read more I can think of many things and being a former comedian, I'll refrain from stating. However, what tires my bones to the core is the inauthenticity of people that have taken over coffee culture; with their man-buns, little lap tops writing "the next great American novel," forearmed tattooed and blue haired activist that... Oh sorry, I got off topic a bit, shades of living in Austin TX. That said, I see the environment at Biggby set up to cater to those people, yet the new gen hippy takeover hasn't started. No, what I see from this dainty coffee bar are inviting pastel-colored walls, light toned wood chairs and tables, crayon inspired specials written on the windows and where ever along with their merch being pushed dead in front. It's an ok vibe in here and the people are simple, thus my whole rant about generation 3.14 isn't applicable here. As for the staff they're great and receptive of what you want to drink as well as giving suggestions. I got there when a lot of younger staff were working so I tried to spark up a conversation. Specifically, if she's tried Kopi Luwak (google it) and if she liked it. She had no idea what I was talking about so I switched to Taylor Swift, to which the conversation picked up. Concern for this generation resonated in my head, but hey at least we were talking, and she didn't ask to chat via snap chat! I kid... I kid. The staff here are very nice and they were playing 80s music (see how I dated myself?) which "I can name that song in three notes" and did. But what I do appreciate is creativity in a beverage and a joint with the courage to put a creation on their menu. When I read the Butter bear latte stood out and I knew that was what I wanted. The butterscotch punched me in the mouth as a "you've never met someone like me before" love tap. The caramel snuck up from behind and smoothed out the experience while the coffee kept the band playing nice together. Scanning their menu, Biggby does commit to giving something different a real go and I applaud them for it. In summary, Biggby grinds their beans to order and this really enhances the quality of their coffee. Add to that they create an environment where one can feel safe while sitting inside or just stopping by with enthusiastic employees and it's a recipe for success. While I didn't sample their "edibles" (how's my parking?) they looked wonderful. To finish, the employees are great people, the ambiance is fun and the coffee is great.
