Great! No wait if you sit at the bar, which is first come first serve. Unsure about the outside bar. Food came out pretty quick and both plates were generous portions and delicious. (The benedict came with any side, I chose a bowl of grits and it was more than I expected.) I saw the bartender mixup the order on the guy sitting next to me--gave him a waffle instead of French toast. They were both super polite and the kitchen fixed it in like two minutes--great service. This will happen from time to time anywhere so was nice to see how fast they fixed the issue. I know it's a chain and all, but it's been consistently good for us. read more

First Watch (Dorchester) was amazing! The strawberry French toast was perfectly sweet, fluffy, and topped with fresh strawberries, powdered sugar, and whipped cream--absolutely delicious! The refreshing drink was the perfect complement. The service was friendly, fast, and welcoming, and the bright, cozy atmosphere made breakfast even better. I'll definitely be back for another delicious brunch! read more

We frequent First Watch a lot. We probably come here about once a month. We moved to Goose Creek from Summerville, and decided to start coming to this one instead of the Summerville location. They're about the same distance from our house, but the one off Dorchester usually has less of a wait. The food is the same at both locations. It's always delicious. Their million dollar bacon is worth every one of those million dollars! They put syrup and pepper and maybe some other stuff on the bacon, making it so juicy. It's sweet and savory at the same time. I love the Purple Haze lavender lemonade they offer. It's a purple drink. Really pretty. Sweet and not too tart. Great for using as a nailfie prop. I usually check in online when we leave our house, and get in line for a table. When we arrive, I go inside and let them know we are here. Then we go back to the car, wait a few minutes, then they text us that our table is ready. It's nice that we can start the process before we even get there. The inside looks like all the rest of the First Watch locations I've ever been to. Very like modern farmhouse aesthetic. It feels clean tho which is nice. I would definitely recommend First Watch to anyone who likes brunch or healthy options. They have some not so healthy / delicious options like French toast and pancakes too. But I noticed my health nut friend likes coming here with me due to their healthy menu options they also have. Come try it out! read more

My sister loved this place when she used to live here, so when I visited her - she highly recommended we come here to visit her in SC. Just a short and sweet review here! The place itself is very cozy and the waitress was very friendly. I shared the lemon ricotta pancakes with my niece and it was very satisfying. My sister also vouched for the potatoes here which I agree, were pretty delicious and had a yummy texture. read more

Let's just say I will not be rushing back here. And I especially won't be back on a Sunday. Not only are they under staffed to handle a busy restaurant, the food was not of the high quality we've received during past visits. Three of us arrived Sunday at 10:45 and left at 12:25. Almost 2 hours for a couple eggs and some potatoes is crazy.... Upon arrival we were told 30 minutes before we'd be seated. Fine. It was actually only about 20 minutes. Off to a good start that was instantly halted as we waited and waited and waited and waited and still no sign of a server. The guy running waters and sodas finally came over and ended up taking our drink orders, getting our drinks and taking our food orders. Once our food came out (which was a long wait too) not everyone's orders were correct. Mine was what I had ordered, but it only had a little of the cream sauce and most of my potatoes were burnt. Leaving a big dry bowl of inedible food I left. I also don't understand why restaurants claim to serve toast when what you receive is cold bread with a blob of unmelted butter. First Watch is not the only restaurant doing this, but they're on the list too! After so much waiting, you find yourself eating fast because you want to get the heck out of there. You also start to get antsy... we flagged down someone who finally got the person with our bill and got the heck out of dodge! read more

Great bacon, pancakes, not so much. Over the years, the wife and I have had great pancakes. But the wife had today at first watch was not one of them. The Pancake itself did not appear to be cooked through as it tasted of raw batter, and the blueberries were cold. The aptly named Million dollar Bacon is truly the best. Crispy, smoky bacon with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and maple syrup is the best bacon you will ever eat. It is almost a perfect combination of heat, sweet and salt. Maybe a bit more heat would make this dish even better. I was happy with my inspired Italian Omelet. This had bits of Italian sausage, roasted tomatoes, red peppers with, Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese. We also both enjoyed the fried potatoes. Seating was comfortable and service was very good read more

I love the variety of food First Watch has to offer. This location is always busy. Well i think all of them are. I have never dined in, because its too long of a wait, but I have placed several to go orders. I have never been disappointed with the food, however sometimes the food isn't always ready in a timely manner. When you place an order, you are given a time to expect to be able to pick up your order. One time I arrived ten minutes after the time it should have been ready and I still had to wait another twenty minutes. Other than wait time, I have no complaints. read more

We've been to first watch many times and it's always been consistently good food. Service has generally been on point very little issues and the ambience is just standard American cuisine breakfast and lunch restaurant nothing over the top but it's very clean. If you're just looking for a good down home breakfast or lunch I would definitely recommend first watch. They have a fairly decent healthy selection and they've got a nice outdoor seating area. We enjoy sitting outside on the patio and having a pomegranate mimosa and a bloody Mary. read more

1 hour wait, another hour wait for our food to come out. Rude and unapologetic staff. Lukewarm food. Wilted salad. Up-charged on a side without letting us know. Just awful time, especially considering the price and in contrast with the Mt. Pleasant location--which my fiancé and I love. read more

Opon walking in, the vibe is very welcoming and laid back. The staff is super friendly at this location, welcoming you with a smile. Our waitress was very accommodating to my gluten allergy as well. This place is definitely a must go to! We recently moved to Summerville from James Island and we of course are looking for good breakfast joints (breakfast is my favorite meal!) First watch not only never disappoints but is also gluten free friendly! *bonus points for this* They ask when your order gluten free if it's a preference or an allergy. And when you are like my and say allergy, it comes with an "allergy flag"! I say this is beyond thoughtful that they put this detail on their food. The gluten free French toast with their blueberry chutney is AMAZING and their million dollar bacon is a must!! Such amazing flavors that pairs together. Corey got the chicken chunga today and it didn't disappoint. It was full of flavor as well as fulfilling! I didn't get picture of their mimosas, but they are on point. They are brought to you with a small glass of orange juice and a mini bottle of champagne, the perfect mixture for the perfect mimosa! I also got a Blue Booster to go. It's a fresh juice made of blueberry, fuji apple, lemon and basil. I added a wellness shot to mine (for free)! It's very refreshing and delicious! First Watch is definitely one of our go to breakfast places and we highly recommend them to all! read more

Well never go to First Watch again. The server completely forgot about us, we watched as everyone else around us were served, everyone who came after us was served. I asked for the hostess to intervene--zero result. I left finally, and waited for my partner who finally was served but she blamed us on her sloppy performance here. The couple from Florida next to us who witnessed this were incredulous at the poor level of service by this server and her hostess. Great breakfast place. We are still thinking about the million dollar bacon. Avo toast was good too. Crowded but fast service.

First time visiting this location. Party of 1 and was able to sit at the bar. They had apparently been very busy because there were still remnants of previous diners, but it didn't take long for the young lady working that area to clean it off. I ordered a Pomegranate Sunrise, water, Floridian French Toast, and a side of bacon. Everything was tasty. The fruit on the French toast was nice and fresh. The brunch cocktail was made just right. Too bad they close at 2:30 because I could see myself stopping here after work for a beverage. read more

My second visit, and great again. We were seated right away (just good timing as there were folks waiting as we left) and had hot coffee in a flash as we mulled over the menu. Our choices were delivered soon, hot and tasty. I had The Traditional: eggs, bacon, whole grain bread, and hash brown potatoes. Simple, yet each item was perfect. Between my guests and I we've sampled nearly half the menu, and we've never been disappointed. As an extra bonus, our waitress recognized me from my last visit, and as we exchanged pleasantries I felt welcomed and pleased to be back. I suppose it's a small thing, and not expected, but it made for a good experience, complimenting the good food, ambiance, and efficient service. First Watch is becoming my fav. read more

First Watch has easily become my favorite breakfast place with its delicious menu, its friendly staff, and the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I find myself coming back to First Watch and trying new things every time and it all tastes delicious! You MUST try the Buttered Grits. Hands down, the best grits I've found. They differ from the traditional notion of what grits are, but they take grits ti the next level. These grits are full of flavor and have a pleasant texture. And you also HAVE TO try the French Toast. It's a brioche, custard dipped, fluffy dish. Served alongside their warm maple syrup, this is the zenith of French Toast experiences. It's like the memory foam of French Toast. If you only order one slice, you'll end up regretting not ordering two. read more

I came in with my daughter and granddaughters for brunch. We were greeted and seated without incident and fairly quickly. I ordered the tri athlete omelet. The fruit was fresh and delicious. My granddaughters had the waffle and French toast off the kid's menu. The waffle was dry and hard, but the French toast was excellent. My daughter really enjoyed her pesto bowl. I removed two stars because our waitress dropped the ball at the end and failed to bring us to go containers. We had to wave down the hostess to get refills and the containers. Also the waffle was really bad, but other than that 5 stars all the way! read more

Today was my first visit as the restaurant came highly recommended by friends. I ordered the tri-fecta and it came with a Belgium waffle, eggs and bacon. Parris was our server and she did an amazing job explaining the menu. Our food came quickly and it tasted amazing! I love the farm fresh products! The bar stools and atmosphere were nice. Unsure why this location has 3.5 stars vs 4 . I just left today and had the same experience I've had many times at the Summerville location. IMO this new store is cuter than the Summerville location. This one has an actual bar that you can be seated at. The layout is different. I'm thinking this one may be slightly smaller but there is a "bar" and outdoor dining. The food tastes the same as Summerville. I got the million dollar bacon, French toast and spiked lavender lemonade. It's a meal I get more often than not. My son got the Floridian French toast, standard bacon & orange juice. It was his 1st time eating there and he complimented the oj. Had to tell him it's fresh squeezed. Lol We enjoyed our food and our waitress was attentive and friendly. I will go back to this location since it is way closer to my home, but I probably won't go as often to this one simply bc they don't honor the military. In conclusion, imo the only difference is that they have a bar & DO NOT have a MILITARY DISCOUNT like the Summerville location. Other than that the food & service is the same read more
