We frequent First Watch a lot. We probably come here about once a month. We moved to Goose Creek from Summerville, and decided to start coming to this one instead of the Summerville location. They're about the same distance from our house, but the one off Dorchester usually has less of a wait. The food is the same at both locations. It's always delicious. Their million dollar bacon is worth every one of those million dollars! They put syrup and pepper and maybe some other stuff on the bacon, making it so juicy. It's sweet and savory at the same time. I love the Purple Haze lavender lemonade they offer. It's a purple drink. Really pretty. Sweet and not too tart. Great for using as a nailfie prop. I usually check in online when we leave our house, and get in line for a table. When we arrive, I go inside and let them know we are here. Then we go back to the car, wait a few minutes, then they text us that our table is ready. It's nice that we can start the process before we even get there. The inside looks like all the rest of the First Watch locations I've ever been to. Very like modern farmhouse aesthetic. It feels clean tho which is nice. I would definitely recommend First Watch to anyone who likes brunch or healthy options. They have some not so healthy / delicious options like French toast and pancakes too. Not only are they under staffed to handle a busy restaurant, the food was not of the high quality we've received during past visits. Three of us arrived Sunday at 10:45 and left at 12:25. Almost 2 hours for a couple eggs and some potatoes is crazy.... Upon arrival we were told 30 minutes before we'd be seated. Fine. It was actually only about 20 minutes. Off to a good start that was instantly halted as we waited and waited and waited and waited and still no sign of a server. The guy running waters and sodas finally came over and ended up taking our drink orders, getting our drinks and taking our food orders. Once our food came out (which was a long wait too) not everyone's orders were correct. Mine was what I had ordered, but it only had a little of the cream sauce and most of my potatoes were burnt. Leaving a big dry bowl of inedible food I left. I also don't understand why restaurants claim to serve toast when what you receive is cold bread with a blob of unmelted butter. First Watch is not the only restaurant doing this, but they're on the list too! After so much waiting, you find yourself eating fast because you want to get the heck out of there. Great bacon, pancakes, not so much. Over the years, the wife and I have had great pancakes.But the wife had today at first watch was not one of them. The Pancake itself did not appear to be cooked through as it tasted of raw batter, and the blueberries were cold. The aptly named Million dollar Bacon is truly the best. Crispy, smoky bacon with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and maple syrup is the best bacon you will ever eat. It is almost a perfect combination of heat, sweet and salt. Maybe a bit more heat would make this dish even better. I was happy with my inspired Italian Omelet. This had bits of Italian sausage, roasted tomatoes, red peppers with, Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese. We also both enjoyed the fried potatoes. I love the variety of food First Watch has to offer. This location is always busy. Well i think all of them are. I have never dined in, because its too long of a wait, but I have placed several to go orders. I have never been disappointed with the food, however sometimes the food isn't always ready in a timely manner. When you place an order, you are given a time to expect to be able to pick up your order. One time I arrived ten minutes after the time it should have been ready and I still had to wait another twenty minutes. Other than wait time, I have no complaints. read more

Today was my first visit as the restaurant came highly recommended by friends. I ordered the tri-fecta and it came with a Belgium waffle, eggs and bacon. My only complaint was there were only 2 servers in the dining room, however, the servers did their best to accommodate everyone. Unsure why this location has 3.5 stars vs 4 . I just left today and had the same experience I've had many times at the Summerville location. IMO this new store is cuter than the Summerville location. This one has an actual bar that you can be seated at. The layout is different. I'm thinking this one may be slightly smaller but there is a "bar" and outdoor dining. The food tastes the same as Summerville. I got the million dollar bacon, French toast and spiked lavender lemonade. It's a meal I get more often than not. My son got the Floridian French toast, standard bacon & orange juice. It was his 1st time eating there and he complimented the oj. Had to tell him it's fresh squeezed. Lol We enjoyed our food and our waitress was attentive and friendly. I will go back to this location since it is way closer to my home, but I probably won't go as often to this one simply bc they don't honor the military.
