Beirgarten Breakfast Sandwich with gluten free bun and added truffle aioli

Great venue. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Great for groups. Came here while in town for the OU/South Carolina football game after taking a marina tour. Nice severs, quick service, very tasty food, and lots of screens.

Jaegerschnitzel is just OK. Best part of the dish was the cucumber salad imo.

Very cool spot to come and hang out and have some beers. Wasn't a fan of the food, however. I would describe the food as very generic bar food. They try to trick you with the German add ons, but it's really nothing to write home about. The interior is nice with TVs and plenty of seats and space to hang out. The night we went they had trivia which was fun. I'd come again but just for the beer.

We enjoyed the outdoor vibe: twinkly lights, clean seating, and some tvs for football. We enjoyed the large portions of both beer and food! Service was timely.

I came back to Bay Street Biergarten with a friend. We enjoyed the St. Patrick's Day decor and food. We got their delicious Bavarian pretzel and an outstanding Steak sandwich. Excellent customer service every time!

This rustic tavern style restaurant has great personality and very comfortable ambiance. They have amazing beer selection, outdoor seating area and live music! The food, however; is just so so. I got the veggie burger that was made with black beans and other vegetables. It was topped with fried eggplant, shoestrings avocado spread and a garlic aioli and pickles. It was still very dry. And I couldn't eat it with the bun because it was just too dry with it. It didn't taste bad but I have had better. My husband got the bratwurst with tater tots and we were kind of disappointed on the size of it. It was more the size of a hot dog and not the standard large brat. Plus it was overcooked and all the juices were cooked out leaving it dry and not as flavorful as it should be. The service was great! They were very friendly and professional and made our visit a lot more enjoyable. All in all, not sure if we'll come back. Maybe just for drinks. The kitchen staff needs to work on their cooking skills. Until then, I cannot recommend this place for the food.

Great place to grab some delicious German inspired food and "das bier"! The atmosphere was great - aka sports bar, the service was quick, and the meals were huge - I mean huge! It was awesome and will certainly put this place on the "list of favs".

Pretzel was the best thing I had. Beer cheese sauce was yummy

Came here for lunch on a saturday mainly because it's dog friendly. Got there around 230pm they sat us at a high chair area and that would have not worked well with our dog. So we asked them if we could get a bench. They said they would put us back on the list. So we sit outside and wait, and wait, and wait. It's almost 4pm and we see a BUNCH of tables open. We waited an hour just for a bench even though there was a bunch available. Very frustrating. When we finally sat down our server was very nicr and attentive. We were super hungry at that point so got a pretzel and out entrees ordered. I got the pierogi with kielbasa. My bf got the chopped beef sandwich. So the pretzel was DELICIOUS. I would order 3 of those, plus the beer cheese sauce yum. Everything else to me was meh. Pierogis were too much and not that good. It was a lot on the plate that didnt work well. So we orderes the tator tots as well loaded. Those were okay, kind of soggy but good flavor at least. The pretzel to me was the best thing and if we came back that's all i'd get. My boyfriend loved his sandwich and most of the food. The rose I got was deliciois. Atmosphere was okay, very loud with games and things going on. But lots of pups so love that Overall its a meh for me. i'd only ever go back for the pretzel and rose. It's also in a sketch neighborhood. Wouldn't feel safe going at night. Was an adventure overall.

Stopped in with a large group and had a great experience! The menu had a ton of GF/Vegan options which made it easy for our group to all pick something to enjoy. The servers were really helpful with making sure everything we ordered were free of allergens! They had great game day drink/food specials too! Definitely would come here again next time we're in town

The totchos are incredible!!!... if your heart can handle it.

Fall is here and we celebrated week 0 of college football season at Biergarten, where friends from every neighborhood in Charleston can meet in the middle to share laughs, good food, and of course, great beer!

Will always be bias to a place I can watch soccer with my pup. . Loved the vibes here and can't wait to return. Good selection of beer and their menu was appealing (we only had a pretzel though). Excited to come back for the euros!

The back opens up to another bar with outdoor seating, very cool. The bartender out back took our drinks, I forgot her name but she was from California originally, La Jolla area? Anyways, very friendly and was attentive even with all the guests in need. We hung out for hours, meeting locals and enjoying drinks. Decided to order food and they had a cheese dip that was spot on. My wife ordered the steak salad and the steak was overcooked, but when asked how things were, they were quick to make it right, and brought out another steak to fix the issue. 5 stars! I hope they see this review and know that they are doing something right. I do wish they had better merch. I wanted to buy stuff but was told their shirts shrink quite a bit after washing. Bummer.

A group of about 8 of us went out for drinks Saturday (5/2/26). We were having a great time (respectful, quiet, not causing a problem). Last call hit at 1:30 so we decided one more drink before we went our ways home. 10 mins later we're were asked to leave the courtyard and head inside - not a problem. We will finish our drinks inside. 5 minutes after that, we were asked to take our last sips and leave. 15 mins before the posted closing time. Again, we weren't causing a problem, weren't loud, weren't disruptive. This was a group of 8, most of us well into our 40s (or older). But they were telling all guests to leave at 1:45a?? Just after we bought drinks? The posted hours say they close at 2a. Not 1:45a. Most of us left half finished drinks. The large bouncer was nice enough, the tiny one in a hoodie with glasses was totally unprofessional. So beware. The Blind Tiger has what it takes to remain a Charleston institution. Their staff, might ruin that chance.

Stopped in mid day on Saturday and didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes which isn't too bad. You can walk around the hotel while you wait. They had a specialty fall cocktail menu which was super cool. I ordered the Haunted Market Street Margarita and it was amazing. It had charcoal simple syrup and lava salt which gave it such an interesting flavor. We shared the Pimento cheese appetizer and I am so glad we ordered. It was so good and the presentation was beautiful. I don't normally enjoy pimento but I did here. My parents shared the turkey club and said it was great. Will always stop by when I'm in Charleston. Great place to watch a game if you can get a seat at the bar.

It sets the tone immediately, and the festive energy carries straight through the meal. We kicked things off with Bloody Marys and a Morning Fog -- simple, classic, and done right. For starters, we shared the Hula Hoisin Wings. They were definitely on the heavier side with the hoisin, but still absolutely delicious. The Mistletoe Mango Tuna Poke Tacos were a standout. They come as a small plate with three appetizer-sized tacos, and every bite was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Buddy the Elf Burger offers a choice of a single or double patty; ours was cooked perfectly. The smoky bacon really brought everything together and gave it that extra "wow" factor. We rounded things out with the O Come, All Ye Fried Rice with Hanger Steak, which was another winner -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. As if the meal wasn't great enough on its own, we happened to be there while Emily Curtis was performing. She's truly incredible and added such a fun, memorable vibe to the day. I'd be remiss not to mention Kevin our server. Go see him. He was great. The whole team works great together. Don't let the bar-like atmosphere fool you -- Prohibition is far from your typical bar food or bar scene. There's a great space in the back, and the elevated menu makes it absolutely worth the visit. A festive, flavorful, all-around fantastic experience.

I've ordered the wings and a couple of burgers, and they've always been enjoyable. That said, the real MVP here is the nachos.
