I visited one day for lunch - I had to check the place out due to the name - "Elf!" I ordered the Rattlesnake Brat - served on a bun. I opted to have them add fresh chopped jalapeños and avocado. I tasted, then added some Sriracha sauce. The Rattlesnake Brat was really good. Tasty! Savory. Served with a side cole slaw and water. The manager came by to check on me a couple of times. He remarked they add a bit of rabbit to the rattlesnake to keep it moist. Service was excellent! I'd come back here again! #ELFGrill

It was our first time visiting ELF and we were not disappointed! All of the staff were warm and friendly -- you can tell that they enjoy their jobs and customers. The food was ready very quickly and was absolutely delicious. Overall the atmosphere felt very homey and welcoming. This will definitely be our new breakfast "spot"!

Flew into DEN airport and stopped here on the way to Ft. Collins (thanks Yelp). Clean diner type establishment with a good menu and good prices. I opted for the green chile burger and it exceeded all expectations. House made green chile on a burger patty with Monterrey Jack cheese open face. Dessert - homemade brownie with premium vanilla ice cream. Great owner who ensures everything is a great experience. read more

We visit this place many time when dine in was open, always amazing. But this morning picked up two breakfast burritos for carryout, $30.62 WOW! They automatically add add 18% for gratuities. I'm not dinning in or someone waiting on me with a smile and service, hmmmm. We couldn't even finish our colossal burritos with a pound of bacon, sausage, ham and chorizo, not to mention the rest with onion, peppers, potatoes, egg and smothered!!! I'm going to suggest do a smaller breakfast burritos with one choice of meat a little white gravy inside that it's not dry, then smothered for $6 bucks. Do one with chilli inside wrapped for takeout for $4 bucks Not a whole lot of people want a $12.50 breakfast burrito. Need to find new ways for COVID... read more

My family loves this place so much!!! We are locals in the area and whenever my mom says "we should go out to eat tonight." My dad always says "let's go to ELF!" The owners and staff are so friendly and get to know each one of their customers individually. Locally owned as well. They served people very well during the main part of the pandemic and we had a tendency to order takeout from them a lot during the pandemic. Overall I love love love this place!!!! Highly recommend!!! read more

6 Stars!!! Had never heard of ELF Grill before driving into the parking lot but my goodness, we were SO welcomed in. My sister and I described it as "one of those restaurants that always feels like Sunday afternoon." The staff is family, and you can tell because you immediately become a part of theirs. They're affordable, and will make whatever you want to see happen, happen. The menu is huge, it's for everyone. I can't recommend it high enough!! Always love this place. The owners are great humans and the staff is just as good. Home cooked meals with some creative and original recipes. With an excellent dessert menu made local and in house. Love this comfort food hot spot. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings that have yet to disappoint. Servings are plentiful and customer service is great. This place has a lot of hype on the area and I don't see why. The food itself is a 2; the service and speed is what elevates the rating. The name is creative and that was enough to make me visit. The outside is a plain and ordinary building. The menu looked fabulous. I found the taste and presentation (yes, presentation matters) to be plain and bland. I've been there three times as a result of all the reviews I get from neighbors. I am honestly questioning the quality of their palates. This place reminds me of that average home style diner in a town in the middle of nowhere. Food is edible and ordinary tasting. The kids "decorate your own cookie" is a nice touch. read more

We had dinner here yesterday. My wife a cheesesteak, me a recommendation from the owner (gluten free) chicken strips. Awesome. He was very concerned about our needs, made excellent recommendations and we had a great meal. Second time we have been here both times were great. Waitstaff was awesome also. We will be back and do recommend you give Elf a try. Normally I will not post reviews on Yelp as they sensor way to many positive reviews, shame on you Yelp... Elf deserves the reviews. 5 Stars for this little hole in the wall joint! It's family run with love and it shows. People were great, really interested in you and happy for the patronage. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My husband had the Elf. Its chicken fried steak, potatoes, eggs, white gravy, green chili and bacon crumbles. He couldnt even finish it! I had the chicken fried steak with 2 sides and it was so flavorful. Their menu was very expansive without being too overwhelming. We cant wait to come back and try more!! read more

Excellent Cubano sandwich with perfect condiment to bread to meat to cheese ratio. The owner brought me a side of honey mustard with poppyseeds and it added a really nice tang. I had mac & cheese on the side and it was gooey and yummy. For dessert we had fried oreos and they are TO DIE FOR! The owner was very present and offering suggestions. The rest of the staff was also friendly and personable. We will be back for sure. read more

Really good food and great customer service. I highly recommend this place. I've gone here twice now. I got a burger and onion rings, that were delicious, my first visit The onion rings are beer battered which I always prefer. Their watermelon ice tea is amazing. The second time I got a French dip sandwich, with onion rings again, and a side of Mac and cheese. All items were great. They never leave your glass empty. Their food is so flavorful. read more

It comes with a dulce de leche and a coffee anglaise that was so delicious. For my main I went with the fireside eggs. This was exceptional! We ordered the burrata appetizer and all of our means at the same time. Unfortunately, the appetizer never came out, our server for that to put it in. I ended up going with the Bolognese and it was really good so was the steak frites and street cart chicken that my friends had. Their fries are pretty good. The server felt really bad for forgetting about our appetizer and offered us a free dessert instead, so we tried the churro donuts which were ok. I'm still it was a good meal and I would definitely come back if I'm in the Boulder area again soon

We love the ELF grill! It is almost a weekly stop for our family. We love the selection of food that they offer. It's good home cookin- and it is always fast and Hot. More than just the food the staff here is truly amazing! The service they provide is always outstanding! We love that the give the kids little elf cookies to decorate and eat after their meal. Ryan, the owner, in particular is always attentive to check on the tables. Our kids just love him and he stops to give them fist bumps every time he passes our table. I work off of hwy 52 and this is the first time I ordered from here and I got to say, the Cobb Salad was awesome! Great portions and the way it looked when I opened the to go container looks like they actually took their time layering all the toppings instead of just throwing it in there. I opted for the fried chicken versus the grilled and the chicken does not taste like it was frozen and the breading on it was yummy. I will be back! read more

We originally sat near the service door to the kitchen and heard a lot of complaining when people went in and out of the door. Had to ask to be reseated. We were not quickly attended to, never received our water in a timely manner, but we did get our coffee which was incredibly watered down and flavorless. (Granted, we got our coffee quickly.) Had two different dishes: one was their "sampler" of sorts, and another was an omelette smothered in gravy. The pancakes were the only decent thing on the plate, and it's clear they were Bisquick. Omelette didn't have layered meat and cheese, it was all whipped together - very very lazy. Overall, very disappointing. Cost was only thing decent about the restaurant. Lots of older people in the diner, which tells me "salty and bland". The clientelle of the restaurant usually represents how the food will be, and for hospital level service food, this was spot on. Now, I realize restaurants are struggling to survive. But if you're struggling and you simply don't care, that's a different story. Hit up Moonlight Diner off of Tower. Longer drive, but worth the trip. If you're really hungry, stop by McDonald's instead.
