SO fun! This speakeasy is hidden behind a freezer door, and welcomes you into a world of fun. We came for trivia on a Friday evening, and it was beach themed that month. So, I have spent very little time in the main area where the live music, stage, big televisions, ample seating, and well-stocked bar are. But, have done multiple themed trivia nights in the hidden speakeasy area in the back. This is the "Liquor Pie Lounge". Yes, I am known to complain about the very concept of douchey pseudo speakeasies. But, I definitely like this one. One huge reason is that the gifted bartender (Christina), who is usually slangin' dranks in the Liquor Pie Lounge, comes up with amazing, thematically correct cocktails that always hit the spot. What do I mean by thematically correct? Well, I typically come here for themed trivia. I've been here with Stevie D's "Thinkin' and Drinkin' Colorado" (not your momma's trivia) for James Bond night. It was some deep cuts and greatest hits from the franchise. I've recently been here for a fabulous and hilarious night of Sci-Fi & Star Wars trivia, and I hope to keep coming back. The "bullshit or not" round is a must try. On these special trivia nights they do signature cocktails, costume contests, prizes, and kick ass / strain your brain / laugh out loud, trivia. I always have a great time. The owner, Chris, definitely put some thought and a lot of love into the space back here. They've got a giant screen on the wall for showing films or whatever you want. The space manages to remain intimate, no matter the event. I even hear they do "sports ball" viewings on occasion. And you can consistently get some pretty highfalutin and tasty beverages back here. They've also got all your basic beer choices, and a few surprises (Chimay??? FTW!). And if you want top shelf whiskey or a larger beer selection, well then just walk out to the main bar and bring it on back to the speakeasy. Heck, even the food is pretty darn good . . . try the Fat Lenny stacked burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. This place is fun! If you are looking for some live music, they have it Thursday-Saturday. They have special events too, like whiskey tastings and such. Nice tap list. (Dragon's Milk on tap...IYKYK) We go for the last Friday of the month trivia in the speakeasy, Liquor Pie Lounge. Head to the back wall and go through the industrial fridge door to get there. The trivia master keeps you thinking and laughing throughout the evening. There is usually a call to wear costumes related to that evening's theme. The night we went was Sci-Fi. Many folks in great costumes and lots of fun. The barkeep in the Liquor Pie Lounge is a creative soul. She comes up with themed beverages for trivia night. One was even lit on fire! The food! Hand cut fries, great burgers. My husband got the Sweet Jane burger. It had cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. He really enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, love me some tots covered in toppings. I got the Westbound and Down, a bed of tots smothered in green chili, cheddar, jalapeño, onion, and sour cream. I remember this place from when it was the old Sweetwater way back in the day. Went here to catch a game with some friends and we were lucky enough to watch it in the Speakeasy. I believe it's called the 'Liquor Pie Lounge' and the projection TV takes up the entire wall. They've given the place a makeover since the days when I'd go there for HH with my co-workers. It's brighter, bigger and cleaner than I remember. All pluses in my book. The wait and cook staff are tremendous. After we were filling out from the game I saw a bunch of guys setting up equipment for a live gig a little later. I don't get up to Westie much these days, but I'll make it a point the next time I'm up there to catch some live music. I stopped in for a quick beer and a bite after being at the Axe throwing place next door. This place was fun, bright, clean and friendly. I was greeted immediately, offered a drink and given a menu. I ordered a some Bavarian pretzel and a bud light. My pretzel came out within minutes and my beer was ice cold. The price was all very reasonable and my waitress/bartender was extremely pleasant. I was a performer here recently and just wanted to give Odde's an extremely positive review with whatever limited power I may have as a Yelp elite! They have a quality setup and environment for any kind of live performances. They have a staff, management, and ownership that clearly care and want to make this a great experience for anyone that comes into their establishment. While having the feel of a dive, they still clearly invested in redesigning the atmosphere to have it be nice while also being reflective of the area and clientele that they have. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I visit everytime I'm in town:)) Service is always on point. Rueben is properly made and always my go to for the perfect Sammy. Not too overloaded with meat. Excellently seasoned, not fatty. I personally nix the T.I. (Still good) add some avocado and mustard and you're golden. Guinness on draft! And then I parouse to the fridge door in back left of main room and voila, YOURE IN YOUR SANCTUARY. Chess and books greet you then make a left and there's a whole other hidden room! Went for the music but it was disturbingly loud and whoever runs the sound is not doing a good job. Bands are mediocre. We've gone 2-3 times to give it a chance (also we live very close) but have been disappointed. Once, we sat through a band's whole set and no one took our order. Another time, we ordered a vodka soda. Don't know if it was the vodka or soda but it didn't taste good at all. It's a nice facility and there's definitely potential but they need to step up their game. read more

Came for the music, stayed for the food! This place is great. Employees are super helpful and tentative. It's seems like everyone knows each other here and it's probably because the employees are so kind to all guests. The place houses a stage and great acts play so often! We come to listen to old friends riff together, and other nights, it's paid acts playing blues, rock, or country. The sound quality is great - speakers pump out music that fills the entire joint but it's not too loud. Music spills out the front doors, as well, if you want to sit outside. The food is not your typical "bar food". Incredible pot pies, Brussels sprouts and big salads are available. Burger of course, too. The food is sizable but not too big. Fun place for live music! There's a speakeasy in the back that's dark, laid back, and more quiet. They specialize in fine cocktails and I definitely want to go back for it. Typical bar food with huge burgers ranging from half a pound to one pound. They have tater tots, too! Excellent fries. Really friendly vibes from both customers and the staff. This place is amazing! You should definitely check it out! Decor - It's got a great local bar vibe (but way less sketchy vibes than the taco place across the street) and cool features like a speak easy hidden in the back for burlesque shows and ball games. You get to it by going through the "library" (really a hallway but beautifully decorated with books you can borrow, chess set, etc). Food - If you're gluten free, this should be your new favorite spot! I think even Celiacs can eat here! They have dedicated GF fryers, and the batter is GF with GF beer (Holidaily blonde). I got the fish and chips, and the fish was crunchy, flaky, and flavorful. Even if you're not GF, the unique burger recipes and amazing appetizers should be a reason to go. (I'm pretty sure they're Brussel sprouts are magic) Events - I haven't been to any events yet, but from what I saw on the posters on the wall, there's trivia, local bands, sports games, etc. Staff - Everyone we've talked to there is fantastic! What an underrated spot! While the location sorta stinks, they make up for it in the food and drinks. They are located in the back corner of a strip mall, so a bit hidden. The patio is dog friendly and has a fire pit, heaters and string lights. However it isn't a super inviting patio due to it being shaded being on the north side and it feels pretty separated from the rest of the restaurant. However, it's a great dog friendly option and we're happy it exists!! Plenty of parking or very easily bikeable as there are so many bike lanes and trails from the neighboring neighborhoods. The food is great. It's a pretty eclectic menu. Interesting takes on burgers, pot pies, and standard pub fare, but with unique twists. The brunch menu only had one item that appealed to us - the brunchbound and down but wow it was GOOD. And VERY reasonably priced, especially since all the brunch items INCLUDE a beer/mimosa - for like $12. It was soooo tasty and very filling. I'd love a brunch breakfast burrito on the menu. The server, Nicole is THE hardest worker I've ever seen in a restaurant. She's a HUSSLER - she's constantly bussing, moving, pouring, clearing, taking orders... she's amazing. The inside vibe is kinda weird... the couches are interesting. But the bar top is great. I docked one star for the dinner costs. The dinner menu is a bit pricey, however, we keep coming back anyway and enjoy having the restaurant within walking distance. read more

I came here for some music and liked the place enough to come back again. The bartender Mario remembered my name and drink, after the one visit. He is very attentive and friendly. THE HAMBURGER! This place has the best dang hamburger ever! The Sweet Jane is consistently a winner. I'm not usually a hamburger type person when I go to restaurants but I seriously can't say enough good things about it. They have a good selection of different types some are a but on the pricier side. I haven't strayed from the Sweet Jane and I am sure the others are just as good! I have never had anything bad here. Walk in, about 8 people at the bar, rest of the place empty. Grab a table (I guess... unclear if you seat yourself since nobody who works there notices we enter). Sit around for about 8 minutes in the otherwise empty dining area before going up to the bar to order a drink. Get wrong drink, pay, leave. If they had service at all it would be a great place. Ambience is awesome. Menu looks incredible but it was 20 minutes before we were even handed a menu (after paying to leave). And lots of activities that make it seem like a great hangout. But just show up for food and drinks? Didn't seem possible. They didn't seem understaffed or overworked. Just indifferent to our presence. I was treated like a criminal because I used my Colorado app as ID. I was talked down to and basically ignored my entire time there. So we just finished our drinks and closed our tab and left. This neighborhood bar and music venue is the real deal - with some great food and friendly service! While the atmosphere is certainly no frills, the beers are cold and fresh, and there are some wonderfully unusual menu items that will have us coming back! Specifically the appetizer featuring tater tots and green chili was amazing; likewise the bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and raspberry habanero jam was simply incredible! We came in for some music and we were not disappointed. The prices are great, the food we didn't try but it did look quite amazing and delicious. The service was great, but even more so that we came in on a night where apparently the crazies decided to come in. I felt horrible for the bartender and owner, but they handled all the crazy things and specifically the crazy person that walked very well. It's not their fault some weirdo decided to walk in their establishment and cause trouble, but they were quick to diffuse the situation and get them out.
