Specifically reserved a table in the band area and was seated away in the dining area and couldn't see or hear the band. The reason we went to Hoffbrau that night was to hear the band. Hostess asked if I called, I did but was told to reserve online. Hostess was a bit snippy. I know it wasn't her fault and I didn't blame her. We almost left, because of her, but we stayed. Came here with my boyfriend on a random live music Saturday Night. We made reservations a few hours before and they were able to get us a table right by the stage. Parking was a challenge, but we went closer to the apartments. Everyone seemed to have an amazing attitude. Our server was great, the music kept things lively and fun! So many things to do; dance, darts, and pool. I was pleasantly surprised with the food as well. It was bar food but very tasty bar food. I had the Mac and Cheese bites, and it was delicious. I am looking forward to the next time I come here! I'm ready to dance and sing along with the band. Bear in mind this is a fairly conservative bar, so something to take note of. Went to see the Long Run last night. They as always, were fantastic. Had cheese curds and chicken strips. They were great. My only complaint was the room temperature white wine. I was a bartender and the first thing I used to do when I started a shift was make sure I had plenty of chilled wine. Especially on a night that big. Everything else was fabulous though. I never complain in reviews, but truly the rudest servers / people I've ever met at a restaurant. The food is super mid, and Addy is such a RUDE server. I won't be coming back (I understand that's probably not a devastating statement) but I definitely don't recommend other people come here. read more

We had a group of 10 of us and there was no one waiting for a table when we walked in. There was a table near the bar area that would work perfectly fine to just add a few more bar seats around and we mentioned that to the young hostess. It took ten minutes for her to get us seated at that table. Once we all got sat never did a wait staff member ever come to our table to even acknowledge us. There was a couple wait staff members that walked by our table this went on for a good 15-20 minutes. So we took it upon ourselves to walk to the bar area and a very nice bartender I believe her name was Sierra took great care of us for the remainder of our time. Big old school sports bar and grill. They have plenty tables and spots at the bar. A few pool tables available. Beers were cold . The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. So I've had the food several times and it was what I'd call below standard bar food. Bland, not much taste. However, that's not the real issue I have with the place. There are two bartenders that work there who are absolutely terrible. It is the quintessential Denver millennial who is paid too much and doesn't have the slightest clue what customer service is. They would rather chat behind the bar rather than sell drinks. When I asked for another drink I was asked to please not yet. This was my first experience with a "karen"bartender. Other time I was going to send a friend a shot and she said she wouldn't until she asked him what he was drinking. I feel bad for the owner who probably doesn't realize how much money this horrible bartender is costing him. read more

With the new apartments built around the place, it is definitely playing hide-n-seek for any hungry souls looking for a burger. The place definitely has a more classic bar & grill vibe, sports and all. Not to mention this place is pretty damn huge, so there is plenty of seating here. I'd recommend you go somewhere else. There are enough places around Westminster that this shouldn't be your first choice. We were seated right away and the drink order was taken pretty quick. After that everything was horrible. I didn't get my drink and my son had to go physically get our waiter because he never came back to our table. 20 minutes later we still hadn't ordered food and the waiter finally came by to ask how the food was (lol). I had to ask him if we could order our food, this guy was clueless. When the food finally came out it was horrible, everything was so bland and none of us finished our food. read more

Opening Colorado to level blue seems to be benefiting many good businesses, especially north of Denver. I think the Hoffbrau is pushing past 50% as this place was packed. Guild of Ages was playing so that was definitely a contributor for getting folks out. Don't expect happy hour specials and definitely eat elsewhere because the food here is mediocre at best. The steak on my salad was overcooked, the lettuce watery and the dressing tasted like a generic label. It left me sick all night. We reserved a table by the stage but Hoffbrau allowed people to linger around and without masks. I felt so uncomfortable with that, it to me was pointless. As soon as we left another couple swooped up our table before the staff were able to clear it and sanitize it. People were on the dance floor without masks and the surprising part was that many of these dancers were seniors...like they had to have at least 10 years on me. Kinda disrespectful to the band (who had to remind patrons twice) and the staff. Bottom line is they seem to have a problem enforcing guidelines and it's disturbing to think that this type of scenario may put us back into Level Orange once again. The business seemed to have more than 50% occupancy and allowed groups of more than 10 and thus, did not allow for social distancing. As much as I wanted to stay, my BF and I were not comfortable with this atmosphere so we left way before the band closed the bar. Definitely not coming back, even if we ever get to normal.
