Great selection of beers and great wings! Our favorite spot to watch all the games we don't get at home!

I completely don't remember what everyone ordered but I DO remember all the things I tried at the table. Tater Tots - parmesan & chives / house onion sour cream - nothing outstanding about this but the kids/teens/young adults LOVED it and may have inhaled it in one breath. Roasted Cauliflower - saffron cream / chermoula / sumac / miso aioli / crispy onion - the saffron cream was a nice touch of essence and the crispy onion brought a good sweetness and texture to the dish. Honey Bourbon Wings - fried chicken wings / honey bourbon glaze / dill pickles - this was FABULOUS, good fry, not burnt and the glaze was perfect, not ooey gooey sticky, just sticky to the touch. Wild Boar Bucatini - wild boar ragu / cured egg yolk / parmesan / chives - this was my dinner order. I'm always excited when there's bucatini on the menu. It just holds enough sauce in the hollows to satisfy me. The ragu was cooked well, good sauce maybe it needed just a little pinch more of salt for my liking. Parking in the neighborhood is not difficult. We had an airbnb down the street and walked here in less than 5 minutes. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a covered patio-ish area. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Lafayette!

From the outside, it's fairly unassuming--even as you pull up--but the moment you step inside,…read moreyou're met with a warm, inviting atmosphere full of character. We grabbed a spot by the fireplace with two cozy chairs, which made the experience even better. The staff were fantastic across the board, and everything we ordered--the cheese curds, green chili soup, pretzel, and wings--was delicious. The ambiance is what really stood out to me, and it's easily worth the hour drive. I'd absolutely make the trip again.

Flats Beer Garden is the closest thing to this phenomenon in the year 2026. I've driven by dozens of times. Always saying to myself, "I should check it out sometime." Perched proud and lonely on highway 93 with no other businesses in sight, Flats Beer Garden is the portal to a transcendiary experience. A home away from home if you will. Some will read my praise and not understand. They will see nothing more than a dive. To you I say, "more for me, thank you very much." Beer bar first and foremost. Tons of Colorado beers for your heart's delight. Sizeable food menu. Good wings at a good price. Full bar available. Mostly pub grub. Indoors is cozy with multiple rooms, a fireplace, bar seating, high tops, and tables. The selling point? The outdoor patio. No hesitation. One of the largest patios you'll find with seating for hundreds. The views of the mountains are simply wonderful. Nothing better than taking a beer outside and staring at our beautiful state. Staff was excellent. I must've interacted with five different bartenders and servers during my time here. All friendly, all helpful, and all too fun to talk with. Apres ski? Post hike? This is the place you want to mosey up to the bar. For those seeking out views after seeking out views, Flats Beer Garden is the quintessential Colorado watering hole. I'll be back time and time again.
