The interior is dark with cozy bar stools and tables inside for sipping beer. Bruz Beers (a play on the Belgian Bruge) has an extensive menu. I got the bartender Tim's recommendation for my first beer. It was their dubbel, which is a dark abbey style ale. It was very tasty and not overly heavy. I wanted to try one more and am a big fan of sour beers. The grape saison (only available at Colfax location) is tart and fermented with Gewürztraminer wine grapes. It was also very good with the right of sour and not overly sweet. The bar has some snacks for purchase like popcorn and meat sticks. I guess they normally have food trucks offering different types of cuisine. There are bathrooms just outside the taproom shared with R&R head labs and another business. Just ask for the code as they require one for entry. The parking is challenging as the bar is just south of Colfax on York. You can find street parking.

Love the food truck pairings and the vibe is just divine. Bruz is also THE place that got us through the pandemic w social distancing, outdoor seating and great cleaning protocols. I think our lives would have been less colorful during that time if we didn't have Bruz. Thanks Ryan and team, so happy you're still in the neighborhood all these years later.

Wreck Room is an interesting place in a somewhat difficult to find location. Overall, it's not really a dive bar but not a "regular" bar either. It feels like someone bought a bunch of pool tables, found a large business spot, and set up a bar without much decoration or a theme or anything else. Not saying it's a bad thing, but the place is interesting. The drinks are cheap and service is good. However, I wasn't a big fan of paying for $12/hour for pool especially on a weekday.

The establishment should have more than one employee working, especially on a Saturday night. It took a good ten minutes to order drinks and reserve a table. The bartender was polite and accommodating, seeing how obviously frazzled she was. The table was awesome, much too good for how horrible we played, haha. They have a full bar and a large selection of beverages, all well done. We didn't grab any food, so I don't know how the food fares. I wish they had a website so the place was easier to check out. We had no idea what to expect. Chad thought it was a little eerie, feeling like a random, large storage space with pool tables, and that's pretty much it. They do have a couple of skeeball machines and a golf video game, but other than that, it's a poolhall, what else would one expect?
