This is best gluten free bakery I've been to in the metro area! Stopped in yesterday for the first time and was surprised at the selection. Fresh and refrigerated, there was plenty to choose from. Not only great products, but an even better owner! She spent time and talked with us, taking us through her menu and answering all of our questions. Bought a pecan pie bar and cranberry almond biscotti, ate those before I could take a picture! We will definitely be back!

Crestone Bakery is an absolute gem. I first tried their gluten free soft pretzels (!!!) at an event at Holidaily in Golden, where people were literally buying 5+ of them at a time and carrying them by the fistfuls. I also got a slice of poppyseed loaf which was delicious as well! I again stopped by today while on a drive down to Denver and was SO impressed. They were offering meatball subs today after trying out different versions all week and it was absolutely amazing! I picked up an Apple fritter, slice of coffee cake, lemon bar, and pack of cinnamon rolls to take home too and am so impressed. Their website talks about how they want to try the hard-to-make gluten free items and their staff and owners are so genuine. Definitely stop here if you're in the Denver area!!!

10/10 Best Gluten Free / Celiac bakery I've been to. Also have nice options for GF/DF and a nice spreadsheet of what everything contains. We had Apple fritters which they make on Saturdays, they are bomb. Snickerdoodle cookies, bomb. Key Lime pie, bomb. And my favorite, the carrot cake cheesecake.

    Eating and driving!!! Delicious!!!

First time in and it is amazing!!!! They have cranberry bars similar to starbies but gluten free and better!!!! Also the tiramisu is to die for, the pretzels are amazing and I can't wait to have to come back down here for a hockey game so I can get more. It was so delicious!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

The whoopie pie was alright, but the pumpkin cheesecake was delicious. I enjoyed the level of sweetness because it was not overly sweet and the crust had a nice crunch. Very good flavors. I would definitely go again for the cheesecake. Location has plenty of parking, staff were friendly and the service was quick.

I am so excited and sad to have discovered this bakery. Excited to have found a place where I can find gluten-free pastries and a variety of baked goods (not just sweet but also bread and biscuits, etc). I am gluten-sensitive so this find is important to me. I'm sad because this place has been around for well over a year and I'm only discovering it now and also, I'll have to control myself and resist to stop at this place and buy myself something yummy. I want to try all their goods!! They had such a wide variety of delicious things to try. It was honestly hard to pick what to try. I had my eye on their soft pretzel, tiramisu, lemon bars and their cinnamon rolls (you can have them with or without icing and they even have ones you can take home to bake). Today I bought 2 of their pastries first, their strawberry Whoopee pie (seasonal flavor for the summer). In the fall I was told they'll have pumpkin whopper pie, peppermint for Christmas and red velvet for Valentine's Day. The strawberry Whoopee pie was so delicious and moist. It didn't have a powerful strawberry flavor but it was still yummy and went well with my iced coffee. I should have asked her name(she may have been the owner or manager) but she was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. She explained everything about their products and their options and asked about my allergen concerns. I will have to edit my review when I try the Tres Leches cake. This type of cake has been a long time favorite of mine and I have never found a gf option before until now. If you have a gluten sensitivity or Celiacs then please treat yo' self and go to Crestone bakery!

Just a sample of what they can make.

Everything they make tastes awesome. My wife has Celiac's disease and knows she confidently eat anything that Lori and her crew makes and not get sick. This is a totally dedicated Gluten-free bakery, they are constantly expanding their menu. Sometimes gluten free means that a lot of baked goods might be gummy or over sugary, NOT Crestone. Follow them on Facebook to see what new recipes and fresh baked goods are coming out. ~Arnie

Don't underestimate PIE...LEGACY PIE as a reward for yourself no matter how far you need to drive to get there!! Do I have pictures? Sadly no. I gobbled my cherry hand pie down so fast that my Grandma Lucile would have chastised me for my rude behavior! My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked so yummy I bought one to take home to my husband. I enjoyed the curry hand pie and boy - what a fantastic flavor in pie crust! Double Yum! My only regret today is I didn't buy a few more mini pies to take home to my freezer! Way to go small business! #pieisawayoflife PS The store is very cute and decorated with fun little gifts or treats you could make as a hostess gift when you stop to get a pie to bring for dessert. #DontwalkRUN!

I tried the hot and read buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pork green chile. I thought both were good. Definitely more emphasis on the bread in these than you would get somewhere else, but that is to be expected with it being a pie shop. I liked the pork a little bit more. They were more filling than I expected but also I didn't think about how much bread there was until after. Also got the key lime pie for dessert later in the day which I loved. Good amount of whipped cream, and had great flavor. Not too crumbly on the crust either. And finally I did get the take and bake chicken pot pie. Which I thought was excellent. Fair value for the size, I think. The large got me 3 meals but probably could have stretched it to 4. But it was so good that I just kept eating more. Had good amounts of chicken in it and good ratio with the veggies. I would definitely return here. Would definitely get the pot pies and key lime pie again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but if I was in the area and needing something quick and easy to eat, I would get 1 of the hot and ready sandwiches too - I thought they were fairly priced too.

We finally decided to check out the shopping and dining district. Rheinlander was our final (and best!) stop. The bakery dates back to 1963 and is now on the third generation of ownership. The quality is certainly being maintained at a high level. This is a traditional, German bakery with a huge variety of authentic European cakes, cupcakes, sweet and savory pastries, pies, cookies, coffee cakes, and the only reason I think a German bakery should exist--strudel! Strudels are available whole, half, or by the slice. The usual flavors are apple, cherry, blueberry cream cheese, cherry cream cheese, and Boston cream. We bought slices of the apple, cherry, and blueberry cream cheese. These were perfection and absolutely delightful. I was totally focused on the strudel case (yes, there's a lot of strudel on offer), but I believe there are eight huge cases of treats, each one looking more enticing than the next. Quite a few gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free options are available, so if that's what you need, this is the place for you. The bakery was moderately busy during our visit. There was plenty of staff and they were all friendly, helpful, and very efficient, so purchases moved swiftly. Lots of coffee and drink options are available. There's nice outside seating if you can't wait to take your goodies home. It's a long drive for us, but we were really impressed and we'll find a reason to visit Arvada so we can stop back soon. Yum.

Some restaurants serve food…read more La Belle French Bakery serves edible works of art. The moment you walk through the door, it's obvious this isn't a place that cuts corners. Between the pastry case that looks like it belongs in a museum and croissants so perfectly golden brown they almost appear artificial, every item seems to have been crafted with an almost unreasonable amount of care. I ordered the breakfast croissant, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin. Now, I firmly believe a bakery's coffee should be judged the same way a singer is judged performing acoustically: no fancy tricks, no backup dancers, nowhere to hide. If your black coffee is excellent, everything else is built on a strong foundation. Thankfully, La Belle passed that test with flying colors. The breakfast croissant somehow managed to be both delicately flaky and impossibly soft at the same time. Every bite left a trail of evidence on my shirt that I regret absolutely none of. I'm fairly certain the croissant received more quality control inspections than my first apartment. The blueberry muffin was equally impressive, striking that magical balance between homemade comfort and professional craftsmanship. But if I had to describe La Belle in a single word, it would be love. You do not create food this visually stunning and effortlessly delicious unless the people behind it are deeply passionate about what they do. Every pastry, sandwich, dessert, and loaf of bread seemed to radiate the kind of attention to detail normally associated with Swiss watchmakers, NASA engineers, and grandmothers preparing for a family gathering. I've had plenty of delicious meals before. What stood out here wasn't just the flavor - it was the unmistakable feeling that every item was made by people who genuinely care about their craft. The passion wasn't subtle. It practically walked out from behind the counter, introduced itself, and insisted I try another pastry. By the time I left, I had already started recommending La Belle to friends. Between finishing brunch this morning and writing this review tonight, I've probably talked about this bakery more than any reasonable person should. And honestly? I regret nothing. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back.
