Crestone Bakery is an absolute gem. I first tried their gluten free soft pretzels (!!!) at an event at Holidaily in Golden, where people were literally buying 5+ of them at a time and carrying them by the fistfuls. I also got a slice of poppyseed loaf which was delicious as well! I again stopped by today while on a drive down to Denver and was SO impressed. They were offering meatball subs today after trying out different versions all week and it was absolutely amazing! I picked up an Apple fritter, slice of coffee cake, lemon bar, and pack of cinnamon rolls to take home too and am so impressed. Their website talks about how they want to try the hard-to-make gluten free items and their staff and owners are so genuine. Definitely stop here if you're in the Denver area!!!

This is best gluten free bakery I've been to in the metro area! Stopped in yesterday for the first time and was surprised at the selection. Fresh and refrigerated, there was plenty to choose from. Not only great products, but an even better owner! She spent time and talked with us, taking us through her menu and answering all of our questions. Bought a pecan pie bar and cranberry almond biscotti, ate those before I could take a picture! We will definitely be back!

10/10 Best Gluten Free / Celiac bakery I've been to. Also have nice options for GF/DF and a nice spreadsheet of what everything contains. We had Apple fritters which they make on Saturdays, they are bomb. Snickerdoodle cookies, bomb. Key Lime pie, bomb. And my favorite, the carrot cake cheesecake.

    Eating and driving!!! Delicious!!!

First time in and it is amazing!!!! They have cranberry bars similar to starbies but gluten free and better!!!! Also the tiramisu is to die for, the pretzels are amazing and I can't wait to have to come back down here for a hockey game so I can get more. It was so delicious!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

The whoopie pie was alright, but the pumpkin cheesecake was delicious. I enjoyed the level of sweetness because it was not overly sweet and the crust had a nice crunch. Very good flavors. I would definitely go again for the cheesecake. Location has plenty of parking, staff were friendly and the service was quick.

I am so excited and sad to have discovered this bakery. Excited to have found a place where I can find gluten-free pastries and a variety of baked goods (not just sweet but also bread and biscuits, etc). I am gluten-sensitive so this find is important to me. I'm sad because this place has been around for well over a year and I'm only discovering it now and also, I'll have to control myself and resist to stop at this place and buy myself something yummy. I want to try all their goods!! They had such a wide variety of delicious things to try. It was honestly hard to pick what to try. I had my eye on their soft pretzel, tiramisu, lemon bars and their cinnamon rolls (you can have them with or without icing and they even have ones you can take home to bake). Today I bought 2 of their pastries first, their strawberry Whoopee pie (seasonal flavor for the summer). In the fall I was told they'll have pumpkin whopper pie, peppermint for Christmas and red velvet for Valentine's Day. The strawberry Whoopee pie was so delicious and moist. It didn't have a powerful strawberry flavor but it was still yummy and went well with my iced coffee. I should have asked her name(she may have been the owner or manager) but she was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. She explained everything about their products and their options and asked about my allergen concerns. I will have to edit my review when I try the Tres Leches cake. This type of cake has been a long time favorite of mine and I have never found a gf option before until now. If you have a gluten sensitivity or Celiacs then please treat yo' self and go to Crestone bakery!

Just a sample of what they can make.

Everything they make tastes awesome. My wife has Celiac's disease and knows she confidently eat anything that Lori and her crew makes and not get sick. This is a totally dedicated Gluten-free bakery, they are constantly expanding their menu. Sometimes gluten free means that a lot of baked goods might be gummy or over sugary, NOT Crestone. Follow them on Facebook to see what new recipes and fresh baked goods are coming out. ~Arnie

The restaurant itself has pretty, modern decor and was fairly busy on the weekend, so I wouldn't expect especially fast service on busier days. I enjoyed the Coco No Loco drink. It definitely gave tropical vacation vibes. The other dish I enjoyed was the birria fries, particularly the birria itself. The fries were a little unusual. There were also plenty of parking spots available outside, which was convenient.

Our original waiter let us know that he would be leaving for the evening and that another waitress would be transitioning to our table. She was extremely busy with several other tables, so I asked Kellen who was walking past our table if, when he had a chance, he could simply bring us some more water. Kellen went above and beyond. Not only did he immediately refill our water glasses, but he also asked if he could clear all of our plates. We weren't even part of his assigned tables, yet he noticed that we needed assistance and willingly stepped in to help. I also noticed that Kellen appeared to be one of the younger members of the staff, which made his level of initiative and service stand out even more. He demonstrated the kind of work ethic, awareness, and genuine willingness to serve that is becoming increasingly rare. Before we left, I made sure to find the manager and personally share how impressed we were with Kellen. She told us that he was actually a recent hire, and I told her, "He is somebody you need to keep!" His attitude and willingness to go above and beyond made our experience at this location even more enjoyable. Kellen is a great example of what excellent customer service looks like. He deserves to be recognized for his initiative, work ethic, and commitment to taking care of guests--even when they weren't technically his responsibility. Great job, Kellen!

We came in on a Friday afternoon and was served by Jennai, Walter, and Majic! All three were so so amazing and attentive. Jennai recommended so many tasty things we cannot refuse - except for goat cheese - not her fault but my own. We had a couple bottles and a couple food options. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. We arrived at 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening to full restaurant which was a great sign. You also want to see your sushi bar moving a lot of product so you know their seafood will be fresh. Lucky for us there were two seats at the bar open so we were seated right away. We started off the meal with of course some Sapporo and premium sake along with a tempura app. I've not found great tempura in the area and was pleasantly surprised with their preparation. We then ordered a Chirashi bowl (wife) and assorted nigiri for myself. The chirashi was okay, decent but not anything amazing. Some of the fish cuts were a little odd like they were the trimmings from the end of the filet. My nigiri was solid and I appreciate the fish to rice ratio was perfect as lot of other places make their sushi with way too much rice to stretch the dish. The amaebi or sweet shrimp was fresh and heads were nicely fried and tasty though I wish they fried it a minute longer.
