Food was great and our waitress was very accommodating. She brought us tortilla chips with small plate of ceviche and some type of salsa as dip. Overall atmosphere is pretty good. Sometimes a group or "banda" of 3 guys walk around to play some spanish songs while you enjoy your meal. Would recommend this place. read more

Wanted to try a new place with my boyfriend tonight since el chilito changed their menu and we both feel totally grossed out after eating here !!! Most of their meat is immitation and its just like salty rotten fish smelly juice with no flavor and fake meat. We just spent $35 there and we barely ate any of it. We're going to go through a fast food drive through. Our night sorta sucks now. read more

I was so excited to try their shrimp tacos and so bummed out after trying them. They were done so sloppy and were salty, not to mention the tortilla wasn't cooked. I ordered to pick up and as I was waiting I seen the waitresses prepare dishes for the people in the patio and were so unsanitized they didn't have gloves and were grabbing lemons and condiments with their bare hands and straight to the customers plate read more

Loved my cocktail of shrimp octopus and abalon great survice good music and price cant waite to try other food here

Been to Mariscos el 30 four times. Mariscos are bomb! Empanadas, oysters, mussels, shrimp..... u name it. Everything is bomb!! If u like micheladas, this is the place. read more

Our server was nice but, food was whatever.. order camarones encabronados and a michelada, my daughter order nachos. More likely I won't be back read more

Service and ambience was good. Food was the reason I am giving 3 stars. Really lacks flavor. If you go, I suggest going for drinks and music only, as I thought the Mariachi was good and so was my michelada. read more

Came in on a Sunday to have lunch instead we went to a Mariachi Concert. Good grief, the music was way too loud for the venue, the food sucks (it will make you take a dump after or put you to sleep) customer service is horrible here. Save your money instead. read more

Horrible service! They took more than an hour to bring our food out. The server kept forgetting to bring our drinks out. When we FINALLY got our food, they started mopping in the middle of us eating. The smell was discussing! The waiter said he was not going to charge us for the second round of drinks, HE DID. He also said he was going to take 10% off of our bill but didn't. The check came back about 3 times because the waiter couldn't correct it. I would never come to this place again. read more

This place has pretty good food. Service isn't all that great. Just finished having dinner there and their system broke down so we waited forever for our tab. Would have been nice if they would have offered a drink or discount for waiting over 30 min just to get our tab then waited for them to be able to charge my card. Other people just started leaving. read more

New menu with lots of new things to try, yum. The mariachis are a bit too loud though. Oh well, big tankards of cervezas and really friendly servers read more

Excellent local place seafood is great ceviche is served with chips upon arrival all the food was excellent and they have live entertainment in Spanish read more

My cousin and I decided to try this place out...first and last time...I ordered a shrimp cocktail and usually you get saltine crackers well they didn't give me any I had to ask for some which they gave me two little packages...when I asked for more they said the kitchen was closed...wow I didn't know they made their own premium saltine crackers right in their kitchen...And to make things better service was horrible. read more

We got up and left after before we even ordered; the live mariachi band was so obnoxiously loud that we couldn't hear each other from right next to one another. The hostess had to yell for us to hear her. read more

The food was ok....but I did have a big problem with our waitress writing our order on her hand and then messing up the whole thing...the beer is flat and Micheladas where water down...never again don't go there!!!! read more

I was so happy when I found out that this place was going to open because there isn't many good seafood restaurants in Oxnard, so I decided to check it out. I came in on 9/17/2014. The restaurant had only been open a few days therefore it was nearly empty. Not only was the food delicious but our server was very attentive and even brought to our table some of their ceviche to try it out. Everything we ate was delicious. I really enjoyed their shrimp and cheese empanadas! Everything from the complimentary chips, drinks, to the food was amazing. I ordered the Camarones Momias (mummy shrimp), which are shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese on top. The shrimp were big and crispy and the bacon gave the shrimp so much flavor! Most plates are served with rice, fries (which are really good BTW), and salad. My plate would had been perfect if they would of added dressing to my salad. I also ordered a consome de camaron (shrimp broth) and it was ok.. a little bland to my taste but a dash of salt made it taste better. My husband ordered the coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail) and he really liked it. The portions were generous we even took left overs home. The menu has plenty of options, mostly seafood dishes. I will definitely be coming back because I really enjoyed the food and ambiance. I strongly recommend this place is you like seafood and good food! read more

We came here a few weeks ago, this place was highly recommended and rightly so. The shrimp empenadas were delicious, chips, salsa, ceviche, Camerones al diabla were awesome and perfectly spicy. We will come back here every time we are in the area. read more

Great food. Great service. Everything was well-seasoned! The music is loud, but it's part of the experience. Definitely coming back soon!

Finally something different at Oxnard, good food good service and the menu was the best part.

Staff is very attentive, food is delicious and big portions are served. The shrimp empanadas are a must! There was a 2 for 1 beer special that definitely helped in the already reasonable bill. Will definitely come back again. read more

Worst place! Their food is not good at all and to top it off, their staff and customer service SUCK! They're so rude and don't care.. will not be going back and definitely don't recommend. El cabo is way better!! read more

Worst service ever they dont know how to run a restaurant ... one server for 50 people then takes longer to bring drinks that what the food lasted worst service ever !!! I dont recommend it dont waist your money or time there ... read more

They had me with the chips, salsa , and ceviche. That extra little touch of ceviche to get you started is just the beginning. Then onto the empanada (pastry) stuffed with shrimp. I cant recall if it was baked or deep fried nevertheless it was hot coming out and the appetizers were a great complement to my beers! You have a choice to order the mariscos cold or hot, I ordered cold. The seafood was fresh and delicious. read more

Great food and great people! Love coming here with my family. The ambiance reminds me of Mexico and once you go in you'll see why! The prices are very reasonable too. I think the only setback is the location, it looks very shabby but the food and people definitely make up for it. read more

Good food, great service!! The mariachi that plays there is also pretty good!! Would definitely recommend it and go back when visiting Oxnard. read more

Every time we pass by we HAVE to stop and grab a plate. They have changed their menu to include sushi, which is okay-ish but the mixed drinks are pretty bomb. read more

Service was good. The food was average . It reminded me of alcopolco . I order the longistinos , which I for some reason thought they would be like the spot prawns . It looked grilled in the photo but are steamed and were over cooked for my taste . We also had the fajitas , which were average . I like that they give you ceviche with the chips read more

Went with the family and ordered a few things to try this place out. We ordered the shrimp and octopus cocktail, it was not very good, the octopus looked a little old and it looks like they don't know how to prepare because it was chewier than usual. I put some so Yucateo sauce, more tapatio and lemon, that seemed to fix the flavor. The fish taco was not very good either, again, not very good flavor. The shrimp ceviche was good after I added lemon, salt and again Yucateco! It's not the best but I've searched for a while for a good ceviche around a here and this will do when I have cravings for it. Every place that serves seafood should have Yucateco! It comes in very handy when the food doesn't have very good flavor! Plus, I love the spice it gives. The empanadas de Camaron were DELICIOUS! The green salsa that they give you with them is amazing, it gives the empanadas a great kick. The Michelada flavor was great too. The service was just okay, our waitress took our order, brought our food and she took a while to come back, needed more lemon, by the time she came back, I was done with my cocktail. The avocado portions are very poor, my cocktail and ceviche sure could have used some more. The few pieces on the empanadas were a little brown and did not give the dish good presentation. I love how they give you ceviche and salsa for the chips. They served my cocktail and Michelada in plastic, I don't know why this bothers me, but it does :/ lol The ambiance is good. The decor is a little blah for me. This place is huge, and I know they have a lot of business, so hopefully they add a little more color to the place since its a little dark. I would have given a 5 if everything was awesome but I know that's not always possible. I will be back and try some of their other dishes. I'm usually not that critical when it comes to food but since I've had my share of seafood and being from the Mexican coast, I think I know what I'm talking about lol read more

El 30 Mariscos - Shrimp/octopus cocktail. Empanadas de camarón. Modelo Michelada. Chips, salsa and ceviche - Seafood Near Me - Oxnard, California

I didn't eat here, I didn't get a chance too because apparently they don't close at 11 or at 10 pm we showed up at 9:35 and they didn't want to seat us they said they were close I spoke to Luis and he said it was because the Banda norteno didn't show up ?????..... We where not the only people who thought they close at 11 there was about 4 other cars showing up thinking they where open to only be turned away. So for not giving good customer service and leading many people to believe one thing and then turning business away I give you 1 star. Everyone who reads my review REMEMBER THEY DONT CLOSE AT 11 OR 10pm I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TIME THEY CLOSE BECAUSE WE GOT THERE AT 9:35 AND They didn't seat us. read more

We stopped on the way down from Paso Robles, the place is big and has a good atmosphere, great for big parties. I ordered their aguachile and shrimp with cheese empanadas, the aguachile is on the spicy side so beware lol their cooked shrimps were overly salty, my husband got a coctel with shrimp and octopus and his shrimp were super salty as well. I was stoked on their fish ceviche they give out with your salsa and chips. I'm giving them 4 starts because of the salty shrimps and their slow waiting service. read more

I loved it. I like that they bring you chips, salsa, and ceviche when you sit down which I loved the ceviche and they keep bringing it to you. The michelada was bomb just not enough beer in it. I had the pescado gratinado and it was really good the rice needs to be worked on because it tasted a little stale the beans tasted like canned beans. The taco de pescado not the best. Waitress was fast until it came time to split the checks she didn't really listen she got it wrong and took too long to correct it. The owner or manager was nice and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for that ceviche. read more

Great food! Our waitress was really nice and helpful since it was our first time here. The food did take a long time to come out, only complaint I have. Other than that its a great place! Most likely going back. read more

Only had a beer at the bar and the complimentary ceviche/chips. Very impressive upon entering and the employees are very nice. The menu is all seafood and you need to like Mexican music . Nice place, gonna go back to eat. read more

First time here. Wait staff brings a sample of their ceviche and salsa to eat along with house made tortilla chips. Ordered the prepared oysters, really enjoyed them. Also had a small shrimp coctel. It's sized a bit in the small size compared to other locations, so I would most likely order a larger size next time. And to wash it all down I had a Modelo Michelada, one of the best cheladas I've had. Overall the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely for Friday night. Will come back soon. read more

First time I went had the shrimp fajitas and they were good. Took my mom yesterday and had the aguachiles but was really disappointed. Seemed like they did not let the shrimp sit on the lime juice long enough. read more
