Best Yolanda's location! The food! The service and of course the marina views! Great for catching the sunset while dining on the patio and enjoying the Dodger game!

Yolanda's is such a cute and cozy spot right by the harbor, it's been one of our go-to places growing up, and it never fails to deliver that comforting, familiar experience. I've always loved their complimentary chips and salsa bar, especially with the marinated jalapeños and onions, such a nice touch that sets them apart from other establishments. I ordered the Baja Seafood Burrito, which came loaded with fresh white fish and shrimp. The seafood tasted fresh, though it could've used a tad more char and seasoning for that extra punch of flavor. The portion sizes are huge, easily enough for two meals. We also tried the Beef Villas for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, definitely something we'd order again. The harbor view makes dining here even better. I always recommend sitting outside if the weather allows. Even when it's chilly, there are space heaters up above that easily toast you right up. All in all, Yolanda's remains a local favorite for great reasons: quick and attentive service, hearty portions, and a relaxed coastal vibe that keeps you coming back.

This is a very customers' friendly place. We had retirees meet-up at this place once in while, and always being greeted warmly. Food price was very comparable for the area because of its beautiful sea side scenery. Outdoor parking only and will accommodate many cars. Our server was very attentive and food was delicious! I will definitely recommend this place for any occasion!

How can you not have a great time here? It's by the sea & there's a great HH. They have my fav margies in the county! The veggies tostada size has changed but it's still really filling and delicious. Service is great. I love the salad bar with the roasted jalapeños. :3

The service is always great. The food it kid of depends of what you order. My favorite thing on the menu is the bacon and mushroom quesadilla. The fajitas are always good too. The chicken taquitos are a good option as well. The drinks are good. The Mexican Lollipop is so good. The chamoy margarita is also really good. Try to get a seat at the patio so you can enjoy a view of the boats.

It was a long day at work, so I stopped at Yolanda's for a drink. I sat at the bar with my cocktail. A gentleman sat down next to me needs and he was served... I asked the bartender what just happened because they had not said anything more than hello. He laughed and the lady next to him laughed, and everybody says she already knows what all of us drink. My Karen joined me and sat down. I asked a bartender Do you know what she drinks... She says she'll have the Chardonnay. Great Carnitas tacos and Service from Kersey

Ambiance 10/10 Large restaurant, inside and out there's great seating. The service is excellent and the food comes out quickly! Their salads and soups are fantastic. Fish tacos 10/10 Chicken enchiladas were just ok, I would rate them 7/10 just lacking flavor Their chile rellano and specials were all amazing. Enjoyed the margarita flight, and their strawberry lemonade! Sitting outside by the water offers great views. Well priced!

We had an amazing experience here. The hostess, Clover, gave us an amazing seat. Great food and location. The view even after sundown is nice.

Their food is AMAZING, I tried their soft tacos with carne del pastor and guacamole and it was super delicious. Their service it's super good, I'm definitely gonna start going to this restaurant a lot mor

With that being said, I wanted to try it out. This was about 2 years ago prior to this visit I had today at this location. I jotted the note down after overhearing him talking about it while watching Netflix. When arriving, the environment outside is run down, old fashioned and in the scary graffiti, homeless surrounding. Parking is difficult to find, but we got lucky me and a colleague. The place is on a road side where parking it located a few streets between about 100 feet away. The surrounding had graffiti and loitering which was unpleasant and I would imagine it is worse at night, be careful here! Inside, a wonderful aroma excites you as you enter the restaurant. Booths all around and hard uncomfortable seats. A lot of people came here today on Sunday afternoon. Customer service was excellent, the guy at the front was very chill, polite and acted as if I was his homie, buddy or good friend. This is what I like. I ordered the birria of course, a meat drenched in a bunch of flavors for days to keep the meat juicy, tender and moist. The variations ordered were three tacos plate with birria, onions cilantro and a consome that was massive. This meal was $17. The other order was a four piece birria quesadilla that was absolutely delightful, succulent and had a delicious hunger craving aroma and flavor that any starving or hungry person would die for! This plate was $14. The tacos did come with beans and rice. Between the two dishes the birria quesadilla was my favorite however, the tacos tasted better. The tortilla of the tacos was fresh and made with love. The value was regular, something I expected compared to taco trucks and side vendors of Mexican food. This place is extraordinary. I felt guilty after consumption because it was fatty, juicy and everything you would want in a pleasurable meal, but it was heavy on the calories and filling. It was a messy meal, I added salsas, more seasoning from the condiments bar. There were so many different sauces and fillings like lemon etc. to balance the flavors of the birria. The console incuded was an added kick that I loved. Definitely one of the best if not the best birria I ever had and I highly recommend this place if you like Mexican cuisine at its finest. An absolute hidden treasure that you need to try! I'll come back after a month of consistent cardio and strength training to burn enough fat and make room for another appetite that soothes my brain cells.

The woman at the counter did speak English so that's always feels more comfortable, especially if you have any special requests. They have an open kitchen where they assemble orders, and the cook was rather friendly. I ordered a roasted pork burrito (I can't remember the name, but it's not carnitas). The meat was tender and tasted like it was slow cooked. The tortilla is not anything special, but all the fillings (rice, beans) were good. There is larger rice than beans ratio, but they give plenty of meat protein. I have been here several times in the past. I remember totally ratchet seating areas, where there were large holes in the floor. There seems to be some updates and the seating area is cleaned up (but I've only done takeout). It was only a dollar on each (5 ) of our bills but they should have told us. Many Mexican restaurants provide them as a complimentary appetizer, so it would have been nice if the server had let us know beforehand. The biggest issue, however, was the service. One person in our party never received his meal. We had to ask about it, and we were simply told, "It's coming," with no explanation or apology. We ended up waiting so we could all eat together, so my soup was cold and I ended up not eating it and had to take it home. When the bill came, I asked what had happened. I was hoping the server would apologize or at least explain the delay. Instead, she didn't really answer my question. Only after I commented that they must have forgotten it, server said his meal had burned and the kitchen had to remake it. It would have been much better if she had communicated that to us from the beginning instead of leaving us wondering what was going on. Throughout the meal, the server rarely checked on our table to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay. Given the long delay and lack of communication, I also think it would have been a nice gesture to either comp the delayed meal or at least remove the charge for the chips and salsa. And normally we would tip less but she added the tip to the bill Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable dinner with friends turned into a frustrating experience because of the lack of communication and customer service.
