I haven't been to Einstein's since I lived in Connecticut. Today was my first day trying the Boynton location. The staff was super friendly and very personable. I kind of feel like I've known them for years actually! They all have great personalities and you can tell they work well together. All our orders came out correct and delicious. The Nova Lox Bagel was just the way I remember it, if not better. Seriously, the Bagels are good. I live up the road so I'm excited to find my new Bagel place! Great job everyone! I wouldn't even give this store a one star if I had a choice. I went in after church for a free Father's Day hash brown roadie. Surprise, surprise. They didn't have any. They would not even offer a substitute and the girl was very rude. It's no wonder the store was empty. It was dirty and that employee shouldn't even have a job. I came in to get a quick breakfast and I was dreading the line when I walked in. There was like 15 people ahead of me and I figure I would be out of there if I didn't move within a minute while I was waiting in line. I was at the counter in less than 5 minutes. This place was busy and quick at the same time. Bravo! The menu has a lot of choices, but I stuck with a choppin' onion bagel for Chris and a chocolate chip bagel for me. Both toasted with cream cheese. Yum! I couldn't resist getting a strawberry white chocolate muffin that was screaming my name. I heated it up when I got home and shared it. Not particularly crazy about this location. The interiors are cramped as every single table- inside and out were filled with geriatrics. I ordered the egg, spinach, and applewood bacon panini and it was ok. I didn't know that they put some kind of tomato pesto on the panini cause it's not listed on the menu. Didn't like that as its not my thing and made the panini bread soggy. The spinach was basically balled up in the center of the eggs. I think their eggs are all frozen and then zapped in the microwave. So that explains why the eggs in my panini were very hot. I just don't care for this place. At all. read more

The bagels and cream cheese are awesome. Highly recommend the spot. I've never had any issues but during my last visit there was a woman debating with one of the employees about a coupon vs points (or something like that) and I thought the consumer was being a little over the top. However as I was waiting for my order a second woman had a similar confrontation with the same employee and I saw it from start to finish. The employee definitely did not do a great job interacting with the consumer and if it were me I would never return to this location. As I mentioned didn't really impact me and I love the bagels and the location is extremely close so I'll continue to purchase my food from here. read more

This location has the worse customer service ever. 4 employees behind the counter and only 1 working occasionally. As the line grew waiting to get service they waited on 1 person at a time and then would mess up the order. I waited 30 minutes (should have left) when my order was taken for bagels to go. Then it was another 10 minutes for someone to ring me out so I could get out of there. Too many other bagel places to choose in the area. Never will I waste my time again. Don't advise going to this location unless you have a day to waste. read more

By far, the worst Einstein location I have ever been to. The large-framed Hispanic girl who took my order was not only unfriendly, but messed up my order in two ways. 1. I told her NOT to toast one of the bagels, and 2. I also requested she add an onion slice to it, which she did not. The errors were definitely due to her negligence, as I noticed on my receipt later that she had taken the order incorrectly. I wasn't surprised to visit this page and read these other 1-star reviews. Came to this location this morning and was disappointed I doubt i will ever return . It is not even noon yet and nothing looked fresh or even smelled fresh definetly far from the usual experience of walking into a einstein's bagel place . Not a good layout for the seating area arrangement. Like I said once before I was disappointed . Walking into a einstein's bagel place in the morning is usually a perk up in itself from the scenery to the aroma filled environment but that is not at all what I got from this location . Let me first start by saying that I love Einstein bagels! They have such a great selection and quite often they run a special where you can get a dozen bagels for $12. This Einstein location is located on military Trail in Boynton Beach Florida. It's across from the Walmart neighborhood market and right next to the Boston market. It's a fairly small location, I would not recommend eating there but it's definitely more of a takeout place. If you do want to eat there they have about five or six tables outside and 3 to 5 small tables inside. I've tried their breakfast sandwiches and for the most part they are good. Not the best in town, the breakfast sandwiches that I tried we're kind of overwhelmed with a very peppery taste. But nonetheless they give you a good serving of egg and bacon and cheese on the bagel. I mostly would recommend going there for the bagels and doing what you want with them. It's clean and service has always been prompt. read more

I've been coming here for our Monday $7 dozen bagels and have always had a great experience. The staff are lively and willing to help with my order, which is usually large-- 3/4 dozen! The guys almost always ask me if I want them cut for me with he machine they have and the manager keeps them workin the whole time. They will even go in the back to get fresh ones if you request and if they are not made, they will make some! Not sure if the other bad reviews but maybe cause we just go in and get our things and go but very happy with this place and while I wasn't thrilled when they bumped price up $1 cause they are using different ingredients (corporate says), but still a great value to get. Throw them in freezer bags and take out when needed keeps the kids happy on those rush to get to school days or the lazy Sundays-- when they don't demand !!! read more

What's not to like? Good coffee, pleasant service and the bagels are yummy. I grab a coffee and a bagel at least 3 times a week for breakfast on my way to work. Think it's better than the Dunkin coffee which to me has a metallic taste and Starbucks is so strong it sprouts hair on my chest LOL. Probably not the best bagel I have ever had but they are good sized with a decent amount of cream cheese shmeered on and they do hit the spot as by 845 AM Ive been up a couple hours and look forward to it. read more

The last 2 times I went here it has taken over 30 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches. Both times I watched multiple people come after me get their food and leave. 1st time after 25 min 2 different employees told me they were out tog the bagel I ordered. By far the worst experience I've ever had attempting to get a coffee. Went into the store... I noticed that the guy that had gone in before me was still waiting for service so I just hung out and looked over the board. I cannot begin to express how much I love bagels! Every time we come to Boynton Beach, we hit this Einstein's at least twice. The good: The bagels The cream cheese The coffee The so-so: The service from the people behind the counter. Sometimes they're super friendly, most times, they're not. The bad: The store is extrememly small, so expect to fight over a table, especially on the weekend. The coffee-making area is always congested. You and about 3-4 other patrons are reaching over each other for creamer, sugars, etc.. There's little room to set your coffee down on the counter to even make it, anyway. Guest service is missing for sure. Food is ok, but the team led by the manager that has a lot to learn about serving and helping guests. This order takes 3 minutes tops to fulfill, and I have been at Einsteins all around the country to verify this fact. Two people working behind the counter, another person at the register and about 10 people seated and eating in the area behind me and it took 6 minutes and 30 seconds until I threw in the towel, told them to refund my money and I walked out, without so much as a "sorry" from the Shift Manager who gave me my refund. Don't bother even coming here. When I first walked in I was lectured on where to stand properly to have my order taken. Place was FILTHY! 5 employees were working and one 1 or 2 at the front helping customers. Tried to give me a burnt bagel and scrape off the black crumbs. Took 22 minutes to get my order, oh and guess what, it was wrong. You could tell the manager or shift leader or whatever she was didn't care. Everybody must be having fun in the back instead of taking care of customers and CLEANING! During my 20+ minute wait I was just staring at one of the posters so I didn't have to look around at all the disgusting dirt around me. Makes me wonder about the food prep and how unsanitary that probably is too. Whoever the owner of this place is should really start to take a hard look at this operation. Ok. For the second time in two days we received the wrong order. Saturday we had a large group and ordered two plain bagels nova only and got the works and we ordered 4 coffees and got three cups but they were so flustered by the mistake we just walked away. Today we ordered a dozen bagels split, watched her put them in a BOX and a toasted plain with nova. They line up the items on the counter. After paying we received our bagels in a bag . When questioned we were told that was our order and of course it wasn't after checking it outside. Perhaps they need to write a name on the box like Starbucks. Again, this location seems to be a disappointment. I ordered two orders of Nova on a bagel with extra capers (not caring if I was charged for the extra capers), the order was repeated back correctly. I watched them make the order and they did not have extra. So, I asked for a side of them. At this point the manager, wearing the red shirt proceeded to tell me that capers were very expensive and proceeded to show me a portion spoon then AGAIN tell me how expensive capers were. I have been to this location three or four times because I had coupons and this is right across the street from the Y where I work out every morning. Whether I have been here at 8am on a weekday or 12pm on a weekday, the place is always completely trashed and dirty. There is more coffee on the counter than in the carafes, it seems like they are always low on bagels and even out on some occasions, the workers are generally friendly but seem to have the combined IQ of Charlie Gordon. The food is so salty I have to run a marathon before and after to keep my sodium equilibrium balanced. In general, Einstein's seems like a very subpar bagel place. I much prefer any of the other 40,000 bagel places here like Bagels and More, Panera, NY Bagel Co, etc. read more

There have been a lot of great experiences, but this one time was awful. The customer services was not good. We orders 3 bagels toasted and coffee. The bagels and the food in them where cold and not toasted. It took 20 mins for the food to finally be the way we ordered it. Services was just not good. read more

I don't usually write reviews. Today, at 9:00 am I went in to the "restaurant". I felt the need to use the restroom, and upon entering found a restroom with bugs flying around, trash on the floors, and no stall for privacy when taking a dump. There is NO LOCK on the door. Upon finding this, I immediately began to leave. Unfortunately my stomach did not allow me the time to find a clean and private restroom, so I had to barricade myself into the bathroom using their trash can. I will never return to this place again. If their restroom looks like this in the MORNING when it should be clean, they clearly don't care for the hygiene of their business. I'd hate to see the cleanliness in their kitchen or while doing food prep in the mornings. This place should be shut down. read more

We love Einstein Brothers Bagels! We were introduced to this wonderful shop several years ago when we visited family in the Boynton Beach FL (BB) area. We had tried another local BB Bagel shop but just weren't happy with the product. Then a friend suggested Einstein and that was that- their bagels were the best! Today I called to make sure that the Monday special was still on since it was about 8 months since we visited Boynton Bch. 13 Bagel for $7!! Ed took my call and confirmed that was still the Monday offer, he also checked on when the next batch of Blueberry bagels would be coming out of the oven, he was so patient and polite and just a great first encounter with any company or shop. We arrived at Einstein and it felt like coming home!! Mark was the employee who got our order and cashiered us out- with my Shmear Society bonus bagel with cream cheese! I had just joined Shmear and was surprised they already had me in their system. Mark was as knowledgeable and helpful and as cheerful as were all the smiling helpful staff. Just so glad to have Einstein Brothers Bagels nearby when we visit Boynton Beach! Thank you Einstein! read more
