We came on a Saturday at 10 am and were seated immediately, which was great. Our server was super attentive, and we got our food and drinks very quickly, even though the restaurant was full. The star of our order was the blueberry pancakes, they were super fluffy. However the skillet and scramble were a little bland, and we would probably order something else next time. Overall a good experience!

Always 5 Stars at any of the several Eggsquisite Cafes around the Dallas, Texas area. Very nice upscale facility, good for a date, a birthday, or celebration. Big enough for a reunion, but arrange with manager ahead of time. Big, big, menu that covers breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Comfort food, healthy food, and some spicy dishes. I love the salads here, all of them are fresh & tasty. Egg dishes have always been my favorite, and Eggsquisite has such a variety for you to enjoy. I hopped away from IHOP, and now I deny Denny's. From here on out, you know Eggsactly where to find me! The Salmon Avocado Toast with melon breakfast I ate today is best value for my money.

The place has a clean friendly ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good, made to order. The coffee price was a bit high $3.89 in our view. It was okay coffee. Definitely better than most breakfast places, but was shocked when we saw the price.

Delicious food and a wonderful menu! I ordered from the fall menu -- the Harvest Hash with sweet potatoes, black beans, jalapeño, bacon, hot honey, and of course, eggs -- plus a side of pumpkin pancakes and a salted caramel pecan latte. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. The place was hopping, but the service was still wonderful and impressively quick. Highly recommend!

I ordered the crab cake Benedict with a side of pancakes. The pancakes were very good and I would go back just to eat the pancakes. The crab cake was not that great. It could have had more crab and it could have tasted fresher. The coffee was delicious!!

Great food, fast service & the waiter helped me with my order since it's my first time & I'm glad he did

Normally popular breakfast and brunch establishments come with a long wait, especially on weekends. That wasn't the case here. The service was very efficient and attentive - we were seated promptly, our orders were taken within minutes, and the food arrived quickly as did the check. Despite being quite busy on a Saturday morning, they were able to move guests in and out swiftly without making us feel rushed. The interior felt clean and spacious with modern decor. The food was well prepared and accurate with the exception of an extra egg on one of our plates which wasn't a problem. So many places that are busy and fast paced like this will get orders mixed up, so I appreciate that they were not only fast but also well organized. Everything tasted fresh. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy. That's another area where a lot of places miss the mark by overcooking the eggs. It's simple but apparently not easy. I also liked the hash browns and the bacon because, well, it's bacon. The cinnamon French toast was tasty. I really liked the cinnamon bread it's made with although I thought it was a tiny bit on the dry side. I prefer my French toast more custardy in the middle, however that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the dish. The coffee was pricey in my opinion at $4 a cup for a regular black coffee, but they were kind enough to give us a to-go cup when we asked. I wish they allowed half orders on the eggs benedict. I've been to a lot of places that will accommodate that request. I'm a light eater in the morning and would have liked to try the benedict but a whole order would have been too much for me. My friend tried the hollandaise sauce which can make or break a benedict and liked it. I wouldn't say there was anything particularly unique that makes this place stand out above the rest, but what more do you need besides good, fresh food that is well prepared and great service? It was an excellent meal and I would return again if in the area.

Food here is decent. Not bad, but I've had better. We had a great server and for being busy on July 4th, they were turning tables fast. The pancakes were a bit chewy. I love their tater tots though. So good!

The Bacado omelet and fresh berries with hash browns. My go-to favorite!

The food is always fresh and generous portions! The staff is attentive and friendly. This is the perfect breakfast spot!

Another healthy omelette at Eggsquisite. Had the cowboy omelette and substituted chorizo sausage. My sides were salad and grits with cheddar cheese. It was delicious. My wife had the eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but she did not like the ham that it came with, it was "funky". Though always busy here, we were seated quickly, and Service was good.

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Kudos to him! Now for the food... it was outstanding. Between us we ordered the tacos, chicken fried steak, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Let's talk about the tacos first. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, topped with a tasty lime crema and delicious grilled veggies. The loaded fries were the side of choice with that dish and they were so good--crispy, flavorful, and the ranch was absolutely on point (which is very important, ha!). The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans was so good that there was literally nothing left on the plate. The steak was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the gravy was perfect. The green beans had just a little kick to them which made them fantastic. And the Nashville hot chicken sandwich... wow. It was HUGE (see pic below) and cooked perfectly. The ambiance of the place was also great. It has a welcoming vibe where you can come dressed up for a night out or keep it casual and still feel comfortable. If you're looking for a great dinner spot in downtown McKinney, Sugar Bacon is definitely worth the visit!
