First time back since COVID started, and it was just as amazing as before! Everyone was following protocol, and some booths/tables were blocked off to adhere to the state requirements. The owner and wait staff worked their tails off as quickly as possible to minimize wait times and still provide excellent customer service. That's one of the main reasons for going besides the excellent food - you can see how much they care about their customers and business overall! We waited about 30 minutes at 11am on a Saturday. The owner was running in and out calling for tables and adding people to the list as they arrived versus making them go inside and wait to be added to the list. The pumpkin pancakes are SO worth it. The kitchen staff member who brought them out asked if I wanted whip cream as it makes them much better. She was right! Also, the whip cream was thick and tasty (not Reddi Whip style). The veggie omelet was filling and felt healthier (even with the hash-browns, haha). The Oreo pancakes are delicious, but VERY rich. We could only eat a few bites with everything else. I ordered a to-go coffee, and it came in a nice size. They provide an ample amount of flavored creamers. One of our favorite breakfast restaurants ever! read more

This restaurant never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is top-notch. Every visit guarantees a great time. It was breakfast time and Eggsquisite Cafe was close by so I decided to give it a try. I was advised of a small wait time of 10 minutes and sure enough we were seated within that time frame. Staff was excellent, seemed pretty busy it was around 11ish when I was there. I ordered the spicy chicken and biscuits. I devoured that plate, I mean it was a crispy chicken beast on top of biscuits and gravy, spicy seasoning and hot honey was drizzled on top. Want it to try this place and all I have to say is AWESOME!!!! came in and was greeted with a nice big smile, got seated coffee and tea while waiting for my food to arrive and I am not going to lie. Ordered the food and not even 7 minutes later boom here is my breakfast. Everything from the food to the service at least 10 stars. Summer was our server and she was AMAZING!!!! Here I am one again at Eggsquisite, only this time its a different location. What can I say about this place that I didn't say about the one in Allen. The place is great, the food is great and the number one thing is SERVICE. It's a family business and this family knows how to run a restaurant. I feel like I'm part of the family when I eat here and felt the same way in this location as I do in Allen. I guess what they say is true, "like father like daughter" or "like daughter like father". Either way, Eggsquisite is an incredible addition to McKinney Wife had pancakes, I had the skillet.. but rather than get into the food and how it tasted individually, I'll just say you want be dissapointed. This place is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, the customers are happy. Any excuse I get to come to Eggsquisite, I'll use it and eat here. I'm not sure how often I'll visit the McKinney location if I'm being honest, since I have my own location in Allen that I can visit and get to in 5 minutes. Sat down at 11:15ish. So not that long of a wait........... Literally just got our food in 7min. So, just finished my food and it was good worth the wait. I've worked in customer service for 20 plus years. Im Sitting here trying to see how we got our food so fast. Observing and dissecting their movements and trying to figure out what makes them successful. So u have a couple hostesses, enough waiters each have a section not beings overwhelmed which contributed to less time on waiting for food, and you have the clean up crew to get those tables ready for the next customer. Literally the clean up crew cleaned the table in less than 3 min. As they walk Away the next customer sits down within seconds of table being cleaned. That is were they are being successful. "Teamwork makes the dream work " but a bit more credit to the ladies cleaning and getting those table ready. They are like eagles wait for their next table. I used to love this place. Since they changed ownership, the service is slow, they don't check back with you very often, and the hostess screams out the next person on the waitlist so loud, you can hear her all the way back in the bathroom. Great food, service at a great price point! I got the Bacado Omelet and my wife got a skillet breakfast. One of the sides was the pancakes (really the best I've had in DFW) the other was a new item O'Brian potatoes which were Great! They have really great coffee also! Several locations; Allen, Frisco, Rockwall, Southlake and my favorite in McKinney. If you haven't tried them you should. If the line is long it's worth the wait. Was able to get away this morning and have breakfast solo. I've been here a handful of times and the food is always delicious and comes out fast. The staff is so friendly. Today I basically let my waitress pick my meal! She did a great job! I got the spicy Cajun chicken and waffles. You gotta try it! Ate every last bite! My Husband took me here for Breakfast Saturday morning to start our day. Its definitely a very Busy location and the wait was long but well worth it. Service was great! My wife & I tried this place a couple of weeks ago and our overall experience was not at all worthy of a recommendation. The food was not tasty and the presentation of whoever prepared our plates actually dissuaded us from even trying the food, which we did to our disappointment. The staff was courteous and we got a table pretty quickly given we went on the late end of the brunch timings. I wouldn't recommend the Benedict, hash browns were okay. Place is very noisy but that doesn't bother me much; might be a deal breaker for some. read more
