Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about this place because they're all over the place, which usually means average tasting food. I was also hesitant because there's also typically a line out front which makes it touristy and trendy...But, we decided to give it a shot. Although the line can be a put off, it's deceiving - the line moves very fast and you can actually join the waitlist on yelp. Caveat - your whole party has to be there before you are seated and they give you a 20 minute grace period once your name is called or you have to join the waitlist all over again. The service is amazing. We had Momo who was so sweet and patient with us. My son did the keiki pancakes, my mother had the strawberry waffles, and I had the short rib breakfast combo. Everything was super yummy and we were in and out in 20-30 min. Def a must to come back to. read more

Great breakfast! I had the spinach, bacon and cheese omelette. really good. The coffee was amazing.

LONG wait time!! Arrived at 7:05am, was seated at 8:10am- for two people. Place yourself in the wait list, you will get a text message with an approximate seated time. Keep an eye out for future text messages, they will text you to confirm, the faster you do, the faster your name will be added to the 50 plus names on that list. Good luck! read more

Outstanding vibe, the service is unmatched and amazing food! All the food is local and fresh. A must stop for all visitors. Use Yelp to put your name on the waiting list because it is busy! read more

After attempting to watch the sunrise at Waikiki, we were hungry and went to Eggs 'n Things. We were welcomed by the smell of freshly cooked bacon. We had made a reservation on their tablet and the wait at around 7am was already 20 minutes. It is a fairly small restaurant with limited seating and there is always a wait. The wait was definitely less than 20 minutes. We were seated in a booth and was provided menus. They had a great selection of Hawaiian inspired breakfasts. We ordered the breakfast wrap, spinach bacon and cheese omelette with breakfast potatoes, and spam and eggs with rice, and eggs and sausage with pancakes. The wait for food wasn't too bad and everything looked and smelled sooo good! We all enjoyed our meals and our plates were empty! The pancakes were fluffy and the portions were large enough to share amongst our group. I def really liked my bacon cheese and spinach omelette and the breakfast potatoes accommodated the meal so well. As we finished, the wait had definitely grown as there was a crowd of people waiting. I recommend coming early and making a reservation time. It is definitely breakfast with a beautiful view. The food is worth the wait! read more

Eggs 'n Things - Waikiki Beach Eggspress - Signature Acai Fresh Fruit Waffle (Dine-In Only) - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

We came here for breakfast before my friend's wedding; they had a signup list via yelpwait list. The wait was only about 15-21 minutes. We were seated at the bar area as we wanted first available. They took our order reasonably quick; however, they were a bit busy, so it took a little longer to receive the food. I ordered eggs benedict with salmon, potatoes, and coffee, and everything was delicious and excellent. read more

At our get away. We had a plan to do and one was to try Moco Loco. What a lunch treat for us. We liked it so much and we are happy we came to this place to try it. We will recommend this place to anyone we know planning to go to Waikiki. This place is the one to go. Make sure you add your name to the waiting list to safe your spot. We did and got sit at the time promised. We highly recommend. Service was great. The only think the place might need a little bit of work as refurbishing or upgrading some stuff might help the look. One thing thou I highly recommend for them to wipe down the doors to the kitchen just saying. They kick it to open so the bottom of the doors were very dirty. Overall a 5 star for us. read more

This place was busy when we walked up at 7 am on a Saturday morning but inside is on the smaller side so makes sense. You put your name on the wait list via an iPad connected to the yelp waitlist function. This seemed to annoy many people but this place is small and busy and they need their staff inside, not taking names. We were sat at the counter after 10 minutes and were promptly greeted and given waters and coffees. We ordered the pork chop and egg combo with potatoes and a breakfast fried rice with Kimchi. The breakfast potatoes were a tad dry not my favorite but the fried rice with Kimchi was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. It was so savory and full of flavor and they do not skimp on the Kimchi. We leave early tomorrow but I wish we had time to stop here one more time. Our friends have been to this spot the last 3 days straight and get the crepes every morning and said they were amazing as well. read more

Great quick service and good breakfast food. Definitely worth a stop while in Waikiki. We especially loved being able to join the waitlist via Yelp! Highly recommend the Portuguese sausage. We absolutely love this place and we come here multiple times during our stays in Waikiki. The kids love the soft and delicious pancakes with generous about of whipped cream on top and I always check out the special omelet for the day. Love the option for white rice - very Hawaiian! Even my kids like to have the white rice with sweet pancakes (which is odd to me but why not, right!?). Lastly, Yelp waitlist is awesome - with small children, waiting is brutal but this makes so much easier. read more

Great waffles. Friendly service. Wish there coffee drinks were a bit better. But did I mention hot tasty the waffles were!!

The service was great but their food and ambiance was terrible. It's not their fault that the city was working in front of their establishment but I feel like the food and closing windows was in their control. It was so loud we couldn't hear the waitress. We couldn't get through our meal, the noise was ear deftning and the food was bland. We left hungry and with massive headaches. Again the ambiance may be ok under different circumstances but we will never find out. The food left much to be desired; sad and disappointed with the quality and flavor. My recommendation is if you can find anywhere else to grab some breakfast, please, please, please save yourself the time and money. The food was not worth the wait. read more

The reason for three stars. The average waiting time is 1 1/2 hrs and more. The other reason is are, the food is average, especially for an hour of half plus wait time. There are many other places to eat at where some locations are none waiting times. I won't say the names on their posts, but on other posts I did walk away and walked 3 blocks more found a place on the 3rd floor with in and out side seating sat down in 3 minutes and got served with a nice breakfast within 6 minutes much better. read more

This place gets a ton of hype and most of it is deserved! The food isn't outstanding, but it's very solid breakfast food with a diner vibe for a decent price. Service was quick and friendly, but maybe a little rushed. I understand, though, with how busy the place gets. Make sure to join the Yelp waitlist a head of time or else you're in for a long wait. read more

Food was good but the owner/manager didn't know anything about customer service. The entire time we were there we felt rushed to eat and get out so we never really got to relax and enjoy the food. I wouldn't recommend this place especially this branch. read more

We usually like this place, really like their burger and breakfast items. However to day decided to try different things for Father day. Now I spent 12+ years in Korea and wife is Korean so we know what Korean food is supposed to taste like. We had the kalbi ribs, eggs, short stack and açaí bowl. First the Kalbi meat was a little tough in places and marinate was way too sweet for me or my wife. For the price you pay you would also think you would get more meat but no. I would give it 3 stars. Used the over easy eggs to mellow out the sweetness of the ribs. Second the eggs were over easy but one was clearly not cooked enough, runny, clear whites. However they were fresh eggs with bright orange yolks which tasted good. 2 stars. Third the kimchi seemed store bought but was old and bland as if they didn't make it right. It was also kind of warm when it should clearly be refrigerated. Didn't taste fermented at all and seemed old. Neither the wife or I could eat it. I wish they put the kimchi on the plate instead of a plastic container (waste of plastic especially when you are dining in). Also wished there was more kimchi but that's all you get. 1 star. Fourth the short stack of pancakes was good. No complaints but nothing special. 3 stars. Lastly, the Açaí bowl was lacking in many areas. The first bowl came and the açaí berry mix in the center was totally frozen; hard as a rock. Fruit on top was good but honey tasted funny. Had to send it back for another. The second açaí bowl was better (very cold in the middle) but the açaí berry mix in the middle tasted a bit sour as if it was old. Seemed like it wasn't made fresh at all. Very odd taste. We have had many açaí bowls on Oahu but this was disappointing. The fruit on top and the granola was good. The honey still had a strange taste that neither of us liked so we only had half of the bowl. 1 star. A little disappointed with this order so we won't be ordering it again. However they do a great job with their burgers, so we will be back for those. read more

5 star for the ambiance, darling outdoor screened patio that runs along the old house looking structure. Not a long wait. Food was average at best. Not much flavor in either of our dishes. The Ahi was stuck on a Fish truck on the freeway so no famous Ahi dish which we came for. Got the loco moco instead. The gravy is the brown packaged stuff that you add water to (or something canned, not real gravy). The onion/mushroom/sausage part was good. Breakfast burrito was very average, no flavor, just "ok." Salt & pepper at the table. Server Jonas was super nice, honest, quick. I think this place may shine in the sweets department. I just watch my figure :) so didn't eat any of this. read more

Over an hour and half to get a table. Waited 10 minutes for a waiter to serve us. Had to get up yo ask for water. Had yo call the waiter yo ask for a second drink. Steak was paper thin and over cooked ( asked for medium hot well done). Staff seemed to treat you like a number. Not too much to inspire a return visit. Not worth it in my opinion. read more
