As a San Ramon local, I am super happy to see this place open! Thus, I'll word review to help the owners with sincere feedback while giving people a an understanding on my experience. Arrived Sunday, 10:45sh - place was busy. It's extremely small space so waiting in line was unpleasant since I straddled the doorway. There was a terminal to order as well as a woman taking orders. However, at a similar place I went to, one had to order from the terminal before advancing to the register. This was not clear while I waited for a family trying to figure out what they wanted at the terminal 15 mins then another 10 mins waiting for them at the counter. Still no clue what they did at the terminal... while waiting, I asked if I could just place order with nice girl who said yes...that wasn't clear from walk-in who to place order through. Like a good citizen lol, I already researched my order before coming in so I don't put someone else through what I was put thru but all good... I was happy to discover I could put order thru counter...ordered breakfast burger and the chic to try plus waffle fries. Ordered no sauce on both items and to go 11:22 order; food came up at 11:48. Another 5 mins since girl didn't register it was to-go and she put in a bag... -breakfast burger was good. I liked egg and meat patty; will get again. -chic was also good. Breaded chicken was tasty. -waffle fries were ok. Forgot to ask what oil they use to deep fry fries and chicken? Hopefully it's EVOO or Coconut oil Suggestions for Resturant: 1) put up a nice poster plainly visible, outlining people can wait in line for counter or order via terminal. Then state, they are welcome to "wait outside" and they will be called. 2) either get a intercom PA system or do a text notify system. That way people won't linger inside where it's too congested. But you have to be diligent on notifying people when order is ready cause I didn't feel confident that was the case when I ordered... 3) whichever worker takes orders, needs to be on top of things, truly listen and be fast. I'll definitely be doing a ton of takeout! read more

Feels like we're short on breakfast places in this area, so we were glad to see Egghead open recently! Tried it on a weekday morning with my kid and teen, and we all loved it. Both of them had the Breakfast Burger (with various customizations that were all done correctly!), and I had the Hawaiian - we shared tots and fries. Everything was piping hot and beautifully assembled - most importantly, it was yummy! Heads up, it's a small stall with only seats for a few people inside (two tables either 2 chairs each). There is a small patio with two more tables. You order from a kiosk and then you are alerted when it's ready (which was quickly on a weekday morning!) Check it out, and get a matcha coffee drink, too! Also easily customizable for sweeteness, etc. and delicious! read more

I ordered one of their basic egg sandwiches - I took one bite and it was COLD all the way through. And did not have any flavor. They refunded me, which I did appreciate, but could use some quality control. Plus it's a grab & go spot and they're charging $14+ for a basic vegetarian breakfast sandwich with just eggs and cheese. This place is awful. $30+ for a simple egg sando and a salad. My wife's egg sando was stone cold, as if it was sitting ready on the counter for 20+ mins. No taste either. My salad was a complete joke (egg on it also cold) with old greasy bread, an unmelted piece of cheddar cheese on top with none of the other toppings noted on the menu description. We had to argue with the employee for a refund.. apparently they have to text their manager to ask for approval. What a joke of a spot we'll never come back. read more

I ordered ahead of time to avoid any lines because it was lunchtime. It's super small inside with only 2 tables but there are tables outside to utilize. Now to the food, amazing! The chic was huge! Crunchy tasty, creamy egg yolk, spicy mayo combined was just delicious. The bacon,egg, cheese sandwich was also great. Order a side of tots and cris cut fries and your meal is complete. Not sure if it was because of the grand opening and just not having enough staff and knowledge to kickoff a grand opening but the location in San Jose is way better. Both in ambiance space and quality. This was a mess unfortunately and their grand opening promotion didn't work instead of half off I paid more here than we did in San Jose for the same exact food order. Service was lengthy and the staff weren't helpful. If you truly want to try this chain go to the San Jose location. Skip this San Ramon location. The food orders were wrong and didn't taste good. Very disappointed with our visit here. Total waste of a visit here. read more

We had a breakfast burger as well as green tea and orange juice. First of all, the burger was so dry and no flavor just bunch of greens. Not worth of $13. Green tea had very strong tea taste like it is old tea that's been sitting there for days. No pineapple and no cucumber taste. Orange juice was watered down. Honestly, I came in with low expectations because my EggSlut experience fell short of the hype, but I was wowed by Egghead Sando. Amazing egg based food prepared fresh and quickly! We stumbled across this San Ramon location (in the same courtyard where Senro Sushi is located) after another failed attempt to pickup some Egg McMuffins at McD's. So thank-you McD's for sucking so bad...because Egghead is now our go-to for Egg sandwiches! We've tried just about everything on the menu after about 6 visits, but my fav is "The Scramble" which is soft scrambled eggs & chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and spicy mayo in a warm brioche bun. I'm honestly not a huge sandwich guy...preferring just some scrambled eggs solo...but this marriage on the warm brioche bun is AMAZING! It all just melts together fabulously. My wife's fav is the Chic Sandwich, which is a HUGE piece of hand-battered fried chicken, arugula, with an over-medium egg on top, with chili powder, spicy mayo on the warm brioche bun. Their tater tots or waffle fries are perfectly crisp as well! And they offer a few different versions of a Hojicha tea, which is not only good, but we've learned is very good for you, with an L-theanine amino acid known for reducing stress and improving mental clarity...enhancing concentration without the jitteriness of a higher caffeine tea. First time and not disappointed! Really tasty offerings. We had the B.E.C. with added Chic, waffle fries, tater tots, and a salad. Split between two, we decided next time to drop the tater tots and salad because the fries and sandwich are filling. Fairly cramped if you wanted to eat in; but most people were grabbing items to go. Another successful search for a matcha drink! Came here on a 100 degree day and their strawberry matcha drink made the drive home bearable in the heat! This was an easy peasy order system - walk in, decide on your order and any additional option on their order system table and wait - luckily for me - my wait was less than 5 mins! I chose less sugar option and with the strawberry option, the matcha has that good kick! Very poor customer service walked into this cafe for my lunch and the cashier woman didn't want to take my order at the counter instead she insisted I use the kiosk right next to the register. Meanwhile she's sitting there on her phone and just walking back and forth from the back to the front of the cafe. Will not be returning. read more

First time here and oh man is it amazing. Me and my wife were getting Philz close by and wanted a breakfast sandwich, these guys do not disappoint! Fast service and very friendly ambiance. Ultimate Sando Sandwich First time ordering and excited to try as posted photos look delicious. Unfortunately, what I received did not compare. It had crusty bread, the eggs were runny with one slice of avocado along with a small dollop of burnt, caramelized onions and I'm left with a queasy feeling after eating it. I hate to leave anything other than positive reviews but after spending $17 I expected something closer to what's advertised and am disappointed. I told the kid I needed to cancel, he said it would be done in 3 minutes and then cancelled my ordered without telling me. When I checked the receipt, they canceled and partially refunded my order. Note I ordered online to go and didn't eat. It was ready when I arrived. I found the chicken in the chic sandwich to be generously sized though extremely salty. Tator tots was a large sized portion. So excited to have an egg Sando place in San Ramon! First off, the food. It was really good! They definitely do not skimp on the fillings. I got the chic and the cutlet was def huge. The taste was delicious with the soft pillowy bread. My bf got the ultimate sando. He liked it but he liked my sandwich better. He said the bread wasn't alas soft as mine however, he said his sandwich was flavorful. Also for the eggy. It was kind of hard to eat. Wasn't my fav honestly. I also got the pumpkin spice hojicha latte. It was super good! The pumpkin wasn't too overpowering and had a good tea flavor. The only gripe I have (which I can overlook) was we ordered the food to be ready by 1206. My bf and I go there maybe 3 minutes past the ready time. I walked in and apparently, my ticket was just sitting at the register. Kinda annoyed about that but it was soft opening so that's fine. Just working some kinks out. This place is my new go to for a good egg sandwich and coffee. I like the scramble sandwich - the brioche is so soft and buttery and the eggs are fluffy. I love the mix of flavors with the chives and the sauce. As for the coffee, my favorite here is the egghead latte. The espresso is so rich and flavorful, I could have it everyday. read more

This place just had a soft open and I tried the katsu sando for breakfast with my wife. The space is quite small, so limited indoor seating but there's some tables outside. I like the clean and simple decor and the ordering kiosk is easy to use. I think there's a good selection of food and prices are reasonable, especially when considering the portion size. The sandwich was huge, especially the chicken cutlet, which was massive. This is both good and not so great. For value it is excellent as I was able to share this with my wife and we were both full, and I'm not a small guy. I would say that the downside is that the ratio of meat to bun is off, and the extra pepper jack cheese I ordered barely covered half the chicken. Literally, my new favorite Bfast place. If you have ever been to Egg Slut in Las Vegas and loved it then you're gonna be stoked about Egg Head! I have ordered via door dash and have ordered in house. Both ways the food has come very fresh and very hot. Only two small tables inside. This would be more of a grab and go spot. You could sit outside on a nice day if you can find a clan table and chairs. My favorite thing tomorrow is the Eggy!! Poached egg on top of basically mashed potatoes. Don't knock it till you try it! That little jar of happiness is absolutely delicious! Comes with a very generous amount of bread too. The tots are for sure 10/10. Perfectly crispy. As for Bfast sandwiches, The Scramble is a pretty solid and safe choice if you want to try one first. Delicious and pretty big. And I always get the Egghead Latte.
