6/13/26: if I could rate the food & service separately, I'd give the food a five and the service a three. Drinks: The orange passionfruit juice had a wonderful flavor, better than the cran mango, I thought. Food: the German pancake was delicious (it was crepe like, but also reminiscent of an airy soufle) -- and it was huge; no wonder it was "pancake" vs "pancakes"! My sister enjoyed her potato cakes as well. Service: lacking. Their patio had misters so despite the heat, we opted to sit outside (being shaded helped); otherwise, we would have had to wait because it was pretty crowded. After being seated, the server (who I'm choosing not to name here) came out a few minutes later for our drink order, and shortly after brought them out which is when we ordered our food. Food came out about 10 minutes later, brought out by a different person. I was so astounded at the size of the German pancake it did not register that they brought me bacon instead of the sausage links I ordered. Figuring our server would come out shortly to check on us, I waited ... 20 minutes passed, he remained M.I.A. I went inside & spoke w/ the hostess, who was apologetic & brought the links out immediately. A minute or two after, lo and behold our server appeared to fill up our water. I should have asked for the check then, but I mistakenly thought he would have noticed the stacked dishes on our table, as well as the almost empty plate in front of me; an observant server would have thought "they're close to done, I'll bring the check". Nope. Ten minutes passed before he came back. Will we go back? Maybe, but if we do, we'll make sure not to be in that server's section.

Place was nice and clean and plenty of parking that's a plus. We were able to sit outside the patio area. The only down side we only got to see waiter 3 times took our order, brought our order, and to pay. As for the food okay. I got biscuits and gravy sadly, gravy had no flavor. Overall, I would comeback

Came here on a Saturday with my family and we were seated quickly even though it was very busy. Our server Karen seemed busy but she was efficient and everything came out as asked! Food was very yummy and just what I needed. Cute diner vibes! Will be returning for a good yummy breakfast!

Been wanting to come here for a long time with no work today decided to come here after the gym. Our waitress Karen was so friendly and helpful. Walked us through the menu so many good options to choose from I went with one of their featured omelettes and it was absolutely delicious the coffee was excellent. Will definitely be coming back to this place many times over.

Worth the time to drop by for some early breakfast on a weekday. Enjoyed my hot coffee and my go to breakfast of a classic Eggs Benedict. Play on doing this next time I have an early appointment.

Oh today, I had the three very crate. It looked nothing like the pitcher, but it was pretty good. Couple eggs and bacon. Leah waited on me. Coffee was always full. I'll be back. Have you order the stuffed hashbrowns next time they seem to hit the spot better egg and Joe is set up like a 50s diner pretty cool ambience worth checking out

Super clean work space! Impressive on a busy Saturday morning!!

I enjoyed everything I had. First of all the restaurant was super clean! I mean I looked around for those typical messy spots - like the over flow spills in the dirty dish bins - nope, every was clean and tidy @9:30 AM on a busy Saturday! I ordered the German pancake with eggs and sausage. Everything tasted fresh, even the pork sausage links were flavorful and fresh. Overall this restaurant felt more like a mom and pop place than part of a chain. Our server Brandon was on top of things refilling our coffee cups without our having to ask. I had an excellent first visit and was left w/a positive impression, looking forward to my next visit - for the eggs Benedict!!

My husband and I love to visit Egg n Joe every now and then. A great diner experience and I must say we are impressed with their coffee, German Pancakes, and Their Crabacado Benedict. Yum. A must try for a great experience.

Had some things to do in Gilbert and stumbled upon this gem. It was busy the whole time we were there but we got seated right away. The service here was awesome. They were friendly, fast, and informational. We had the hungry rancher breakfast and chicken fried steak and eggs. Both plates had a lot of food and it was all really good. This is a modern style breakfast ambiance with holiday music playing. On a side note, because we're 1st time customers we were given a letter of welcome and a coupon for the next time we are back. I will definitely be back, the food, service, and ambiance is too good not to be back. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Had a great experience at Egg N Joe. We arrived at around 9:45 and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was crowded with just a few tables left so we're glad we got seated quickly. I noticed an hour in is when the wait was getting long. When we got seated we were quickly greeted by the staff and they were super friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered a make your own omelette with a side of hash browns and fruit. The omelette was made perfectly with the perfect amount of cheese and other stuffings. The hash browns were also golden crisp and had a perfect taste. The vibe was overall great, with a traditional breakfast style atmosphere. Overall, had a great time and will be back

    Specials - December 2024

On a weekday in December, I visited this location for the first time and was immediately sat as a party of one. Pleasantly surprised as during the snowbird season it can be hit or miss on a weekend day, especially delicious breakfast locations which I had this bookmarked to try after other Yelpers raved about it. The seating is an open room so it can be a little loud, but I was thankfully seated at a booth on the wall to lessen the noise. My server was incredibly friendly and helped me decide on a wonderful Bloody Mary to celebrate my post-surgical follow-up appointment. If there is a vegetarian Benedict on the menu, you know I'm ordering! They had a solid hollandaise and I'd definitely return to have again as all my beverages and food was delightful!

Very cute for a chain breakfast spot Clean & organized Seems to flow & run efficiently Service was great- Arath was attentive, funny, & gave great hospitality Crepes were a great option- HUGE portion which kind of caught me off guard. Served with 2 eggs & your choice of protein Will definitely be back, knocked off a star because I wish there were more specialty options

Classic Eggs Benedict w/ Hash Browns

This is not the first time I've been to Egg N' Joe, and it certainly won't be the last. Today I had their Classic Eggs Benedict, with poached eggs, Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce, with their hash browns as a side - all of which were fantastic! Every time I've been here it has been busy, but the restaurant is nice, clean, well-maintained, and the staff is always on their toes. I will definitely visit again!

At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. Overall, I recommend Joe's to anyone who cares more about the ingredient sourcing and quality while enjoying a nice family friendly vibe for a lunch/dinner. They have a great outdoor patio seating for times when it's not over 100 degrees.

Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. I'm from New Mexico, and these tasted like the beans that you rarely find outside of New Mexico. The steak on my chilaquiles was really good - - thin sliced and tender. I was able to easily cut it with just a butter knife. The pork in the hash was so yummy. What are scrumptious brunch! It was nice to sit overlooking the kitchen, as it was quite a show to watch the chef. I was amazed at how over easy eggs were tossed and caught in the pan without the yolks breaking. Heck, I can't even flip eggs with a spatula without breaking the yolk! Anytime I've overlooked a chef cooking, I'm totally in awe of their amazing skills, and this was no different. I really recommend Tucked Away, just as I did when it was a regular restaurant. Follow them on Instagram to be alerted to pop ups. You won't regret it!
