Five stars for the ube breakfast sandwiches and the breakfast sandwiches as a whole. We came here after the falls and I'm soooo glad. The ube bun on my sandwich (pictured) was so delicious. I didn't use the ube sauce because the bread was already a bit sweeter than I prefer but the sweetness with the savory/salty meat was amazing. The sandwich was also huge and filling. I only ate half in one sitting. On location: this restaurant is located on the golf course but it's publicly accessible and it's not awkward at all. Only reason I'm giving four stars is because the lumpia was terrible. It was nothing like my Tita's or any other lumpia I've ever had. And the price of $5 for two very thin, under-filled rolls was not my jam.
This place has been in my "Must Try" collection for some time now and I finally had the chance to make it happen. I was glad to have reread reviews so that I realized it was on the Herndon public golf course bc if not I would've sworn I was being punked. #1 customer service is a perfect 5 stars! The gentleman running the front of house was so pleasant and patient and helped me make decisions on the menu (& we had great conversation while I waited). #2 all food is cooked to order and fresh! #3 a very unexpected menu given the location and it's definitely authentic! Whenever I see SPAM on a menu I'm ordering it bc I mean how often do you get to grub on retro goodness? The SPAM fries were crispy and salty and all the things SPAM dreams are made of. The Ube Waffle was so unique and the macerated strawberries and Ube syrup that accompanied it were wonderful! I wish the chicken tenders that came along w the combo were true chicken breast but they were fried nicely. Ambiance wise it was cool to overlook the golf course but it definitely feels like the place is still a teenager coming into its own style while trying a few things out of that makes sense lol. I'll probably visit again to try the rice dishes and lumpia :)
Awesome spot. Doesn't stand out since it's within a golf center, but anyone who golfs there or lives in the general area are lucky to have this place so close. Lots of seating space inside and you can either order up front or online to go. Plenty of great options and the bowl I had was amazing. Lumpia in the bowl is also a nice touch! Service was efficient. Can't wait to come back here.
It's at a golf course. One of the staff was rude like trying to rush us. It wasn't really relaxing because there old men cackling. We got the Lumpiang Filipino Beef Egg Rolls, Ube Waffle, Ube Breakfast Burger. The lumpia you could tell it was frozen. The ube waffle should have been paired with coconut ice cream with condense milk. The ube breakfast burger was tiny and it didnt taste like ube. I don't think I would come back except for the fries.
This shop is located inside a golf course in Herndon. It's small inside but with big flavors of yummy dishes!! My favorite is their sweet pork longanisa silog bowl and spicy beef lumpia! If you have not had sweet pork longanisa, it is like sausage meat that is sweet sticky savory but it is ground up and topped on their seasoned rice. Their spicy lumpias are so good, always fresh. Crispy outer layer and very well seasoned stuffing inside. They do get busy, so we usually order pick up. And food is usually ready in 15-20 minutes.
We stopped by for brunch on our way out of town. We had no idea that Egg Karne was located on the Herndon Golf Course. While that was initially a bit shocking, once we saw the menu, we decided to stay and give it a go. So glad we did! I haven't been able to find a lot of Filipino food home. The idea of spam fries was probably the hook. We both got the Silog breakfast - one with sausage and one with pork belly. We felt it gave us a chance to try most of the menu, however, we did miss out on the Ube Waffle (neither of us were in Waffle mood). I cleaned my plate - the best recommendation I could give regarding the food quality. Portion size was decent. Yes, I would wish for a bit more, however, the prices are decent for what you get. Drinks, even soft drinks, were a bit pricy, but that is a function of being on a golf course. Speaking of the course, there is a few seats in the back that give you an excellent view. Overall, not a bad way to enjoy breakfast before heading home.
I couldn't tell from the pictures that Egg Karne was a little odd-spot café for the Herndon golf course. I was starting to doubt my Google Maps directions but fortunately, I saw their small logo on the building. The entrance was also weird. It felt like an emergency exit of the building and kind of prompted me to return to my car but I was like, "Heck, I'm here, let's find out" and went in. The décor was also not quite there. I read somewhere that the golf course sponsors it. Its owner probably wanted to offer food to the golfers. The overall feel of the place wasn't very welcoming or inviting. Its primary function was perhaps to provide some food and not much else. Honestly, if the food tastes good, I don't care about any of that. So, how was the FOOD? The meat bowls were tasty. The runny egg, oiled-up rice, and fresh chilis brought the balance. The downside to Egg Karne is that I didn't see anything else I wanted to try on the menu. The meat bowls were it. VERDICT: If you're craving Filipino food and live near Herndon, get their meat bowl. I wouldn't drive far though.
We decided to finally check this spot out before a round of golf! This has been on my "must try" list for a while now... and the wait was totally worth it! I ordered the Silog bowl with pork belly and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend! I want to try it again with spam! It was a great combination of umami, perfectly cooked rice, yolkie egg, and peppers. Loved every single bite of it... maybe a bit too much! Having that full of a belly kinda impacted my golf game! I would come back here again for brunch and get a bucket of balls to practice with, or even play 9 holes. The golf course and restaurant are laid back with out the elitism you get in some other spots. There were tons of to-go orders and even a sign w/ a QR code to order. Come for the food, stay for golf. It's totally worth it!
Sorry guys, I can't agree with all these rave reviews. There is or was an Egg Karne inside the 99 Ranch in Fairfax... they never seemed to have lechon sisig or adobo, so I thought I'd come out to the restaurant. I was definitely surprised it was on a golf course! We came around 2pm on a Sunday. Prime time for food considering the golfers right? Well right off the bat several menu choices were not available including fish and chicken tenders. These are not difficult ingredients typically as they are fried.. but ok. We settled on a sisig bowl, adobo fries, and ube waffle. I've had a lot of sisig and this one is heavily seasoned with liver. It's not crispy at all, and was only so-so. It was a bit disappointing as we frequently order sisig from other places and this one wasn't quite up to par. Next was the adobo fries. Basic ingredients for adobo are soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar. The best part of the adobo is letting all the ingredients meld together. Unfortunately these ingredients seemed quickly put together. The vinegar taste was quite strong and not well-balanced. It was like someone was making adobo for the first time. Lastly, we had the ube waffle. Since chicken wasn't available, we just had it plain. The sauce is actually quite nice though you don't get much ube flavor in the waffle itself. Overall, we thought it was a meh experience and prolly caters more to those unfamiliar with Filipino flavors.
About three years ago, I attended a Yelp Elite event in Rosslyn, and met a couple fellow Elite members who first told me about Egg Karne. I heard great things about this place and bookmarked it. Today, I decided to finally check it out with a friend, and was pleasantly satisfied with everything about Egg Karne. First, I was surprised that this place is truly situated at a golf course. Located in a residential area right before Historic Herndon, this place is tucked away at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course. I went inside and was surprised the amount of seating available. Raj was super friendly, and took the time to explain to my Filipino friend the various menu choices. We ultimately decided on the Lechon Sisig, Adobo Pork Belly Fries, Longanisa, and Ube Waffle with Chicken. I really enjoyed my Lechon Sisig. The chili peppers add the extra kick and flavor to the already delectable dish. I probably could have gone without the fries, as it was not super special to rave about. The Ube Waffle was delicious, and surprisingly not crispy like most regular waffles. The Longanisa was packed with flavor! Can't wait to go back!
My girlfriend picked this place for lunch since we were making a few stops in the area. We've been trying to come here ever since it opened but we never had the chance. It's located right along a golf course, in the same building as the shop. We were having late lunch so there were only 2-3 people in their dining room which is a pretty decent size. They have a pretty big menu but we both ordered a longsilog bowl and an order of adobo fries. It did not take too long obviously and when it came out I was shocked at the amount of food. Well, I mean we brought it on ourselves. The adobo fry portion was huge! Very cheesy and a decent amount of meat. Not exactly the adobo flavor I'm used to but still pretty good. Only finished half. The longsilog bowls were also pretty weighty but I'll eat almost any meat over rice and just destroyed it. It's not whole longanisa links but more chopped up but still good. Lot of rice too which I love but wish there was a little more atsara. Lumpia was decent, not really meaty but I wouldn't say no to more! They have such a large menu that it would take forever to try everything but I would definitely come back. Hopefully they do open another location like this. I know they had Kusina before so maybe that could be revived somehow?
We got this takeout for breakfast since we were working from home. Me and mom go the Longanisa rice bowl. My dad got the bacon bowl. My sister got the Ube waffles. And my boyfriend got the lechon sisig. Everything was amazing! We shared our food and everyone thinks the same. Our favorite was the longanisa though! It was so flavorful and delicious. Service was slow, it took a long time to get our food out. And the ambiance was super nice as it was by the golf course. Service needs to be improved, however food is perfect!

I came today to pick up late lunch, was craving for a crispy chicken sandwich. *As I was ordering, I noticed the kitchen was very small. The lady that was taking my order was very nice. *The menu is very simple, besides the fact that it doesn't say on the menu that the "100% Angus beef cheeseburger" contains some pork. *Packaging is really nice. *I asked for extra sauces on the side and they were very generous about that. *The food was really bad, the chicken sandwich tasted like a regular frozen product that you could buy from your closest supermarket. *Will not be back *Only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the nice staff. read more

I did not know what to expect when pulling up to a golf course pro shop. I saw some of the food pictures and wanted to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The pork belly egg and cheese was outstanding and the buns they use were fluffy and delicious. My wife had the Ube chicken and waffles and it did bit disappoint. After traveling to Hawaii and wanting everything ube this filled that void and will absolutely have us coming back. read more
What a hidden little gem tucked away next to the pro shop of the Herndon public golf course. Unique spot serving some unique, yet absolutely delicious food! We found this place one morning after a wedding the previous day and decided to stop in - glad we did. The food was perfect for that morning after. A Filipino restaurant on the outskirt of a golf course. Overall it was alright. It's not a place I would go out of my way to visit, but I wouldn't mind coming back again. We ordered the Adobo fries, silog breakfast bowl, and ube waffles. - Pleasantly surprised at the large portion of Adobo fries. Very cheesey and very meaty. I was expecting a more traditional flavor for the meat, but I imagine it's good if you aren't coming in with an expectation - Lots of rice in the silog bowl- a very traditional Filipino thing to do! It was tastey. Personal I think it was too saucy but some folks do like it like that - The ube waffles lacked flavor. And they looked more black than purple. Yep, on the advice of others here, definitely a hidden GEM. I decided to venture out on a rainy day, which was perfect for a peaceful meal and a pretty view of the golf course. No frills but a wonderful homey atmosphere on a day like today. A nice roaring fire in a fireplace would have made it perfect...if there was a fireplace. Heh heh heh...but I digress. Friendly and helpful staff who seemed to really like being there. That makes a difference for an all around good first experience. I felt like I walked in with a good home-cooked meal waiting for me. Are you a french fry fan? Great fries here. I'll be back. I bet this place is hopping on a gorgeous golf kinda day. It's worth a trip out if you have a hankering for some down home cookin'. read more
Located in a golf club in herndon, we went on saturday morning around 1030 and there was plenty of parking and no line at this time. We beat the rush! When you enter the facility, Egg Karne is to the right and located in front is the register where you place your order, on a rectangular sized monitor next to the register will be a screen displaying the menu. I recommend ordering your food first and then ordering some dranks to pass the time while you wait for your food. They give you a buzzer and when your food is ready it goes off and you can pick it up at the counter, ours was brought out to our table. Pay attention, my friend's order was loss in the process so we had to let them know and they were very apologetic and resolved it fairly quickly. We weren't too bothered, thats why i recommend ordering some dranks while you wait - they have wine on tap! or just wait in front at the register so they can't forget your order when it gets busy hah. Also, if you get the spam fries expect it to be salty because spam itself is naturally salty. Anyway, to me the space looks like a cafeteria set up and as you walk further in there's a cute dining area towards the back with a chandelier where you can take your instagram/yelp pics. Overall I enjoyed the food, good change up from the traditional american breakfast and has reasonable prices, I plan on coming back to try the ube sandwich read more
Self serve Filipino spot inside a golf clubhouse. Walk in, order, take a buzzer, pick up your food, and enjoy at one of their cafe tables. Customer service was subpar but the food was yummy. We got their Silog bowls with longanisa and spam. That was delicious. The Ube Sandwich was good but really sweet. If you like sweet and salty combo, this will hit the spot. Their pork belly French fries... we wouldn't get it again. Looks better than it tastes. Lol. Overall, not a bad brunch spot. I would totally go back for the Silog bowls. read more

What's up foodie peeps! On my travel back to the DMV area, I found a delicious breakfast/lunch little haven in Herndon, VA. Say hello to Egg Karne, a small Filipino Cafe in a not so common place...a golfing range. Golfers gotta eat too. You order your food at the counter and can see the chef cooking up the food right then and there. Staff are masked up and super friendly. So I ordered the silog breakfast bowl (menu says traditional Filipino breakfast), ube waffles, and a longanisa sausage breakfast sandwich. Onward to the deets! The ube waffle was dense fluffy, like eating mini purple clouds with a side of ube syrup to sweeten the pot. For those who do not know, ube is a purple yam from the Philippines. The longanisa sandwich is bursting with savory flavors. It comes with a well seasoned cooked egg and special sauce between a decadent brioche bun. This sandwich was made to please the taste buds. So longanisa is a sweet pork sausage (or chicken or beef). It was that was mashed into a patty for this yummy sandwich. Finally, the silog dish is a super flavorful energy driving dish that comes with garlic fried rice, sunnyside up egg, beef lumpia (spring roll), some vinegar sliced radish and carrots, and choice of 2 meats (I chose longanisa and pork belly). This is a great dish all around that provides you the food pyramid in a bowl. Really enjoyed the flavor and ingredient pairings. Eating this is like eating a dish from grandma's who keeps wanting to feed you . This place is a fill your belly with flavor and fullness kind of place. Hot damn where do I even start.. Jill and I just came here on Wednesday for the first time and are already back again on Friday. This place ieasily has the best breakfast food in the area, with the Ube Breakfast Sandwich being the best b-fast sandwich I've ever had in my life. Never had this Ube or Longanisa stuff before, but wow is it amazing. The Silog Breakfast Bowl is also dank as heck too, and I look forward to trying most of their menu. I don't even care about the 20 minute drive here from Sterling because this place is THAT good. I will be coming here as often as I can. read more

Disclaimer: I want to give this a 3.5 or 3.75 but that is not an option! This is a relatively uncommon type of restaurant because it serves Filipino and Filipino inspired dishes. It is also unique because it is in the clubhouse of Herndon Centennial Golf Course! Combined together it is an enjoyable and tasty place to get some food and watch golfers swinging their sticks outside. I got a longganisa silog bowl and the meat, rice, egg and fixings were well cooked and tasted good. Maybe it could have been bigger...but it was also not expensive and perhaps catered to be a lighter fare that golfers would want. My girl and I split a ube waffle, and it was decent. I recently went here for the first time. I got the sage sausage breakfast sandwich and the loco moco. The loco moco was good but the hamburger was a little more done than I like. I guess I should of specified medium or medium well for doneness. I realized I don't like sage sausage! I liked all the other parts of the sandwich but the sage in the sausage patty was a bit overwhelming. I would come back to try another breakfast sandwich or get the loco moco if I'm in the area. read more

Doesn't really look like much from the outside. It's located at a golf course. I ordered the Silog Breakfast Bowl. The food was very good and flavorful. I'd say the portions are pretty small for the price though (hence the 4 stars). I also ordered Longanisa Sandwiches for myself and my coworkers. They loved it and I thought they were pretty good too. I would come back here, but definitely wish their portions are bigger for the rice bowl. read more
We've been here 3 or 4 times at different times of day. What a gem to have in Herndon! It definitely is an interesting choice of location but once you walk inside it's pretty modern and cute. The lumpia is fantastic and the pork belly is sooooooo goooood. The spam fries are...spam fries. haha. The pancakes (I forget what they were called) are also delicious. It took us until our 3rd visit to realize were only looking at one part of the menu and that they serve bowls with egg and rice as well. Once we tried one of those, we were hooked. The breakfast sandwiches are tasty but VERY greasy. The staff is always awesome and attentive if you have questions or changes to your order. We loved it and of course will be back again! read more
It's been a while since we've visited our beloved Egg Karne and we are so delighted for how this humble cafe had grown! After a long chase for the legendary ube waffles I have come back to report that they are DIVINE! I wanted to sing! The puff waffle was heavenly soft and warm and the ube sauce was a velvety and luxurious compliment. She was dressed with a blueberry fruit spread that added the perfect amount of tartness that elevated the dish's depth. Finally visited this spot for brunch. Interesting location but nice vibes inside. Staff were nice and food took about 10 mins. The ube waffles were good, specifically the strawberries and syrup, and like that they use the bubble shape for waffle. Added fried chicken but didn't really need it - wasn't very flavorful. Bf got the silog bowl and said it was good. The lumpia was good as well. Nice natural lighting and view of the golf course. read more

Some might think it odd to head to your local golf course's clubhouse for your favorite breakfast sandwich. Not me, though. It's my new habit. Egg Karne serves a variety of delicious, pork-fat centric breakfast sandwiches, all made fresh to order, with a smattering of Philipino-inspired sides--the Spam fries, as just one example, are not to be missed. The prices are reasonable, the dining room uber clean, and the service friendly and helpful. It's also surprisingly enjoyable watching folks practice their drives, chips, and putts while noshing away. It's a great way to mix up your urge for a hearty, sumptuous, decidedly sky-high cholesterol breakfast sandwiches. read more

We were in Reston VA for the fine arts festival, and after all that walking needed a place to sit and eat. I came across this place on Yelp, and it looked good! Like Filipino fusion. We got there and the menu is simple and straightforward. We ordered longganisa sandwich, spring rolls with beef and the French fries with pork belly! Amazing! Especially the fries with pork belly. I'm part Filipino/Cuban/Native American and been looking for local restaurants near me and my fiancé. Wanted to learn my family's culture thru there food and stumbled across this Filipino restaurant (EGG KARNE) . Best choice I've made in my life. Food is top notch and truly authentic. We tried the silog dish w/ lumpia, fried egg, garlic rice and longanisa sausage. And there loco moco dish which is the same as the silog dish but with hamburger instead and gravy over garlic rice and fried egg. Lumpia beef egg rolls were amazing but we just wish there were more in the order instead of just 3 for almost $7 which is ridiculous and a tease. The home fries are truly unique and delicious without any condiments. And there longanisa sausage egg and cheese sandwich is . We are now officially going to be regulars when we can afford it. read more
Sunday Brunch - ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR $16! It was a special Sunday Brunch menu that lured me to Egg Karne in Herndon, Va. You see, I live about 45 minutes away in Washington, DC! It was rainy and wet, but I was on a mission to finally try out this place and it was worth every drop of rain:) In addition to this special Sunday Brunch, the creators of Barkada Clothing came out and had a pop-up store from 10-2. How awesome was it to see them too. I love small businesses supporting one another. Plus, its great to able to touch and see the merchandise. I will definitely be ordering the grey tank top so I can sport it in the winter at my gym and layer it with some hoodies. Back to to the food...so, for this day, each menu item was brought to the table without any of us having to order and you then decided what extra menu items you wanted. MENU Garlic Fried Rice with Longanisa, Ube Waffles, Scrambled Eggs with Tomato Onions, Fried Chicken, Lechon Belly, BBQ Sticks, Spam Ginataang Sitwaw. Plus all you can drink Tang and coffee on the side. We ordered additional spam, garlic fried rice, lechon, BBQ sticks and ordered some longanisa patties. I was full, but determined and we pretty much finished everything that came to our table. Overall, everything was delicious and I was so full by the time I finished. I know this was a special menu and weekend, but I may hold off on the fried chicken only because I prefer the other breakfast items more. In addition, I think for next time, I'll definitely have to try one of their sandwiches which I heard are amazing and so are the spam fries. If you love supporting local businesses, come out and try this hidden gem in Herndon for some delicious Filipino food. read more
This golf course Filipino eatery is an oddity but serves a decent menu of Filipino style sandwiches and appetizers like lumpia and spam fries! After perusing the yelp reviews and photos, we "bit" and decided to give Egg Karne a try after seeing the Ube Waffle and a few other unique entrees. So be forewarned- check the daily menu because many of the items pictured like the Ube Waffle are NOT regular menu items and served only as a once in a while Sunday Brunch item. In addition, don't expect to have either steamed nor fried rice here either - both are NOT in the menu. If you're in the mood for "Filipino style" sandwiches, this is a decent stop but if you are seeking a Filipino meal with rice, go elsewhere. read more
This place was on my bookmarked list of restaurants to try, mainly for its reviews and photos. When I was looking for it, I thought I took a wrong turn... didn't expect for it to be located within a golf course. I shared a few of their dishes with my significant other: *Silog breakfast bowl *Pork belly egg & cheese on brioche *Ube waffles The silog bowl came with a lumpia, which I didn't think had enough filling. But the whole bowl itself was very comforting and tasty! The pork belly, egg, & cheese sandwich had good flavors even though the brioche bun was just too soft/airy. I really enjoyed the ube waffles - it was my favorite of the three. Pretty decent place if you're in the area and wanting to try something new. read more
Egg Karne is one of our favorite breakfast spots in the area! The breakfast sandwiches are yummy, and the Filipino specialties are solid too. Despite being at a golf course, the vibe is very laid back, and even though it's a great breakfast/brunch place, I've never seen the super long lines that you get at other similar places. I don't love waiting in line for brunch, so I love that this is a dependable place where you can get good food quickly. read more

Really enjoyed my cheeseburger! I can definitely say that the cheese used is high quality because it really stood out. The service was also great- very nice gentleman behind the register. There are a lot of pork options which I'm sure are delicious, but I don't eat pork so it left me with somewhat limited options. In search of Filipino Food, we ventured out to this distant location situated in a golf course nonetheless. Not your average location for a 4.5 star (according to the Yelps) restaurant, but you will likely be surprised by the nice decor and spacious area inside Egg Karne. Really, the real treat is for all the golfers who come here on the reg, as I've nary been to a golf course with such delicious food than here. Nevermind the controversial president who is leading the land of the Philippines at the moment, for we are in America (and nevermind the controversial president leading the land of the free at the moment, that is besides the point), and we can partake in the Filipino delicacies without fear. I chomped on an EX Deluxe Burger (two patties, for extra protein) while the significant other partook in the Longanisa Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Brioche. Both were fairly well executed - savory, not dried out, served hot (just how Nelly likes it). The EX Deluxe took the cake though. Maybe I'm a carnivore (I am), but all that meat, eggs, and oompf, was just too much for me to not devour in a few minutes. The Loganisa had that longanisa flavor, for sure, but the brioche buns were just a bit too much compared to the meat -- a poor carb to meat ratio, if you will. Now onto the Spam Fries. Honestly, they were good, but I probably wouldn't get them again. Originally, I had thought they were french fries, fried in spam oil. But turns out they're literally sticks of spam, deep fried. It's a bit too salty for my liking, but the sriracha mayo sauce that goes with it is addicting. So pick your poison - overload on salty spam, or spicy sriracha mayo. TL:DR: Don't expect your typical Filipino food of adobo, lumpia, or fried tilapia. This is more of a FFFJ - Fast Food Filipino Joint, which features American style food with Filipino twists. Cute little shop inside a golf resort. We've been excited to try this place, knowing they serve Filipino food. We tried the Longanisa Sausage Breakfast Sandwich and the Pork Belly Breakfast Sandwich. We also shared an order of lumpia. The breakfast sandwiches are really good. Freshly made, on a croissant like brioche bun with an egg, cheese and ketchup to give it a bit of sweetness. The sausage definitely had Filipino spices which was a party for my tastebuds. The pork belly was good too; not dry like I had thought it would be, with a generous amount of meat. The sandwiches are $7 each; definitely on the expensive side but what do you expect from a restaurant inside a golf resort? The lumpia was delicious; comes with a sweet Thai chili sauce on the side for dipping. My complaints: 1. Our meal was very greasy/ oily. I could feel my skin starting to form pimples afterwards. I wish they offered some fresh side alternatives (maybe some type of fresh salad, vegetable side or potato) to go along with the sandwiches. 2. Not a great selection of drinks; I was hoping for a nice freshly made Filipino juice or at least some better drink selections in the fridge. It's mostly your standard American soft drinks, Minutemaid OJ and beer. It's still good food, so I gave it 4 stars. I think they have so much potential. This place reminds me of Eggslut in LA. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich is done well, but could use a little more meat or fluffier eggs imo. The fries were good and added the extra bit of crunch and flavor that the sandwich needed. If you're in the area this place is definitely worth a visit. Someone else got some fries with meat/toppings while we were there and they looked delicious though. read more

This little gem conveniently situated on a golf course is the BEST FIND in VA! Wherever you are, do yourself a favor and go the extra mile to make a party in your palate Had Sunday brunch here and for 2 people, less than $25 for outrageous flavor in homemade Longanisa (special recipe of J.L.'s traditional filipino sausage) and they serve Old Ox IPA! I wouldn't expect a Filipino fusion eatery at a golf course. But it exists at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course! I've tried a few Filipino dishes and wanted to try more! The longanisa patties here are a must! They make them in house and they're super juicy, flavorful and straight up delicious. That bun is bites of heaven when combined with the runny cage free egg yoke, buttery brioche bun and melting cheese. Another popular menu item are the lumpia (Filipino egg rolls). They serve them with beef, chicken and vegetables. They kindly gave me one order with all three varieties and my favorite is definitely the ones with the beef and chicken. Well seasoned meat just tastes better. I couldn't have savory food without something sweet so I had to order the turon. It comes with vanilla ice cream and fried plantains with a caramel sauce. My husband and I loved everything about this dessert, from the rich vanilla ice cream to the crispy wonton skins to the gooey, thick and sweet caramel sauce.
