Edgar's Grille located on Washington Road Augusta, GA Food: The training restaurant (school) is very special the students due a really extraordinary job in menu selection, presentation and service. I have visited in months however, we always have a pleasant experience when we go. Service: Customer service is always A+ Ambiance: I love the classy vibe, dim lighting and high back booths give you a intimate feel.

So this is my second time at this restaurant and it's literally becoming one of my favorites anytime I'm visiting Augusta, Georgia. I was able to have their Sunday brunch and it was absolutely delicious. I love that the food was in a separate space than where you sat so it didn't cause any congestion. They also had a good variety of hot and fresh food. The mac & cheese is delicious and creamy, the greens had great flavor, and the biscuits and gravy were perfect. They also had made to order omelettes, which were huge along with French toast and a carving station. The dining room is always great and we had extra friendly service. I also got a mimosa which were amazing as well. This is one of the top places I would recommend anybody go to.

Went here to celebrate my aunts birthday, party of five. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately but the place wasn't busy. They were anticipating a twenty person table though! We ordered the burnt ends to start and boyyyyy were they delicious! IDK what the sauce was but bottle it! The nuts were pointless though, as well as the rabbit food on the plate. I ordered the salmon entree and it was perfect but I'd never been asked how I wanted my salmon cooked but well done I guess lol. Katelyn our waitress was a peach! She was kind and so helpful. My aunts friend had made a cake and she put it in the back to keep it cool for us until we were ready for it. They overcooked a steak but redid it! Otherwise, we had no complaints. Great place, linked to the school so I'm pretty sure most of the staff are students. I'd definitely go back!

Dessert included in brunch is extensive. This is just a few.

We had a table of 15 and this was no problem for this amazing group of Chefs and students. The food was amazing, fresh, and played well. It is wonderful to know that everything you purchase here goes back into the college to provide training programs for the community. The area has been refreshed and is very clean!

I visited last Friday with a few coworkers. The service and most of the food was fantastic as usual. I was a bit disappointed that my steak didn't taste great. It had an "off" taste to it. Due to time restraints on our evening, I only ate half and took the rest home and fixed it to my liking on my stovetop. I didn't make a fuss about it but did let someone know. I hope the next time it's better. I've had the New York Strip several times and they've even made it at lunch when I visited although it's a dinner menu. This was the first time it tasted off. The atmosphere of the place is always pleasant and not too rowdy.

Our experience was overall incredible! The special was a sea bass with puréed lemon cauliflower and the dish was perfect - so unique and delicious! The Edgar's salad was also absolutely delicious and the grilled chicken was seasoned perfectly. The drinks and warm bread with their special butter was all also wonderful! Would highly recommend!

Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. Please, if you are in the area be sure to go by and make up for my absence!

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was incredibly sweet, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. Because every dish is made from scratch to ensure freshness, be prepared for a bit of a wait. We also had to make some adjustments to our initial order because a few items were unavailable, but we still ended up with a solid meal. My girlfriend had the turkey bacon, the COE cakes (which are delicious hash browns), and the classic sweet waffles. I went with the beef quesadilla and the classic lemonade, which comes with free refills. The quesadilla was a great choice and the hash browns were very tasty. The waffle had a great flavor and was nice and soft, though it was served a bit cold. One thing to keep in mind is the presentation; the food is served on plastic plates with plastic silverware. While we tried not to let that affect our judgment since we were there for the food, presentation does eventually matter. Also, the temperature inside was a little warmer than I'd like--it was about 58 degrees outside, but that coolness definitely didn't translate to the dining room. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it was noticeable. The most important thing to know before you go is that they only accept cash tips. It's a bit of a strange policy in this day and age since most people don't carry cash, especially when you're already using plasticware for the meal. They do have CashApp if you think to ask, but it's easy to forget if you aren't prepared. I really hope the staff is being taken care of if people forget their cash! Overall, the food was good, the service was great, and I didn't feel like my time was wasted. It's a nice local spot for a fresh, handmade breakfast
