Quick, fast, and friendly! We called just 15 minutes before and he said to come on in. We were able to drive up on a Saturday, he took care of us quickly, for only $40, and got a copy of the smog certificate no problem. They accepted cc (for a fee), cash, and check. Very easy! read more

Wow!!!!!! I needed 2 cars smogged and dreaded the hours and BS it would take to get it done, based on past experience! I called eco smog and spoke to Armen who said he could do it in 20 minutes. I showed up with car number 1, sat down and before I could open my IPad he was back with completed test! I went home picked up the other car and drove back to shop. All the reviews you've read about the place being a little hard to find are true. Also true, are the other comments regarding how it's nestled in with the Tire4Less auto shop, the entrance being on Willalee Ave. The service really was very fast - from checking in to leaving - about 20 min. Make sure you bring your registration renewal notice and $50. It's about as painless as I've ever had regarding smog checks. The guys working there are also very friendly and helpful. ecoSmog was the very definition of "Friendly Neighborhood Smog Station!" This was my daughter's first time smogging her car, so we asked if she could watch the process. Armen was super nice, answering all our questions but "the process" was done in 2 minutes -- there was nothing to see because now they connect to the OBD port under the hood, versus to the old method of sticking a sensor in the tailpipe. He's even getting set up with the DMV to ISSUE THE TAGS! Talk about convienence -- how great would it be if this guy was running the DMV? read more
