They answered all of my questions promptly through Yelp, responded quickly, and even made me feel welcomed before I had even arrived. No upselling, no surprises--just honest, straightforward business. That's refreshing these days. I came in on a Friday morning, and they had me in and out exactly within the promised timeframe. Parking was easy, and they even have a comfortable waiting area to escape the blazing South Bay sun. My sunscreen definitely appreciated the break! A big thank you to Jose for taking great care of both me and my beloved Honda EG. (Fellow car enthusiasts know...our cars are basically family members. ) He was professional, friendly, and made the entire process stress-free. I actually grew up in Lawndale and lived here for 19 years, so it was nice to finally experience a local business that truly delivers on customer service. As a business owner myself, I know that honest communication and treating customers well are what keep people coming back. I've found my new go-to smog shop and will definitely be returning for future smogs. I'll also be recommending A1 Smog to my friends and family. Thanks again, Jose, for making something as routine as a smog check a genuinely pleasant experience!

I replied, "Sure! Why don't you just take my car and give me another car?" So much fun! I completely trust Ocean Tire and will never go anywhere else. They are honest, super friendly, and made everything so easy. It's hard to know when someone is going to take advantage of you, but I can confidently say, Ocean Tire is the best. Got my oil change and I'll return for anything else my car requires.

I made an appointment just to be safe and was then in and out in (literally) ten minutes. This was by far the fastest smog check I've ever had! This is the most hassle-free place to get a smog check. Tips: It's inside a tire store. Just pull in the driveway as if you were going to the tire store and the smog kiosk is on the left under the ecoSmog sign. $2 off if you pay cash.

After doing some comparison shopping, we found that our local WALMART Auto Care Center offers TPMS sensor installation and reprogramming for just $28.88 each sensor. What we were quoted at Firestone simply did not make any sense when a local competitor could provide the service for a fraction of the cost. Consumers deserve transparent and competitive pricing, and this experience was a real eye-opener.
