I came in during my one hour lunch break. My car was fully checked and ready to go at around the 45 minute mark. I bet it would have been faster if Kenny wasn't already working on a car before I got there. Paid $60 flat. Easy and straightforward. Highly recommend. Thank you again Kenny! read more

Excellent service. Came for a smog check (cost was $60 including the certificate, which he submits electronically). Very quick service--you can make an appointment although I just arrived and there was a very short wait. Kenny is a very nice man and there is a small, clean waiting area. Process took about 15 minutes I would definitely recommend and would return if I need another smog check. read more

I haven't needed a smog check in some time and I wasn't the one that usually kept maintenance on my vehicle. So it was my turn to find a place. Most places didn't open until 9:00 a.m.! I have to be at work so I needed a place that was open early. Long behold this place opened at 8:00 a.m. that I found on Yelp. What got my attention was the picture of the owner smiling in his photo so I took the 16 minute drive to his location. There was no wait! He greeted me with a smile and my smog check was honestly complete in less than 15 minutes from start to finish! My car passed, and now I'm good to go! Thank you so much for your help today sir! You made my morning. read more

The Total is $60 for a smog check. I think that's Kinda pricey. Includes certificate.

I'm keeping this short. I just came from this shop and met with Kevin. Very quick service. Very helpful. Very nice guy and professional. Thank you for your help Kevin! -Luis read more

Kenny the owner is extremely kind and very helpful. My car is a 1999 which is harder to smog. Kenny didn't mind at all and helped me big time. Highly recommend!! read more

Fast, polite, pleasant experience. Wow! Came here because my prior smog place was randomly closed. What a great experience! I just pulled up, no appointment, to try my luck. I didn't have much of a wait - one car was ahead of me, but there are clean seats to sit in while waiting. In total, spent max 25-30 mins there. Agree with other reviewer about the one-way entrance and tight driving lane. The nice owner politely gave me parking instructions and offered to help back up my car to get out if I needed (I declined). Will return! read more

Great place! Friendly, fast and opens early!! Will return when my smogs checks are needed

Quick and easy Kenny took care of me right away hassle free would definitely recommend.

Super fast, in and out in 10 minutes and very nice guy, called me right back after missing my call. Thank you.

Top SMOG guy! Great recommendation from Bob's Autos. Friendly, knowledgeable, quick. Will be back everytime read more

A GREAT place to bring your car for a smog check! The guy working here is super cool! I think this is a one man shop, but there wasn't anyone when I got there so I was seen right away! I was in and out pretty fast. This place is in a strip mall shared with a bunch of other auto shops.. so there's tons of cars in here waiting for different services. I like this place and have been recommending it to my friends who work in the area. read more

I've been going to Kenny for several years now, probably about 6 times now. Out of those times I don't believe I ever had to wait. He starts right away and does his job thoroughly. My cars have always passed. Kenny is quick and complete. His shop is located among a line of other garages. It's a little crowded and you just need to know that the driveway is one way. Turn in off the side street and arrive at Smog Express down toward the end. I'm writing this review because I really like the service. Can you believe I actually look forward to getting my car smogged! It's true!!! read more

Best smog check I've been to. Kenny is fast and fair. Recommended 100% I've done 2 cars here so far, and plan to bring my other 2 as well. read more

Great shop I was in and out in 25 minutes. The only hard part was the shop is in a strip mall that has a 1 way drive way. You have to get lucky since there isn't a lot of parking. Luckily there was no wait for me. I logged into the dmv an hour later and my results had already shown up. read more

I called before coming in to make sure I didn't need an appointment. The owner was super friendly and told me to come on over. I waited a few minutes while another car was finishing up. The total time there was less than 30 minutes. The owner has a positive, calm and sweet demeanor. He seems to love what he does! I highly recommend this place!!! You will not regret it. read more

Amazing! Received the dreaded smog letter in the mail from the dmv so what's the first thing you do? Yelp a place near your work and win! Didn't have an appointment so had to wait for he car in front of me. When it actually came to my turn it was faster than the waiting itself ... I mean when do you ever get faster and better service just by waiting a few minutes??? $50 bucks later out the door and happy. Nice Korean guy that obviously takes pride in what he does and is a master at it. No questions asked the best and only place to get a smog done in the South Bay or even in Southern California. Make sure you go to the smog test stall at the end of the row of car repair places in my picture. Yah the place isn't pretty with nice furniture but again it's the opposite of dealing with the dmv in that it's quick and effective and stress free! 6 stars!!! read more

I was looking for a smog check place close to work, so Smog Express Test Only popped up on Google. I called to see if they had an opening as I did not have a lot of time. Kenny said he was open with nobody waiting. He took my vehicle description and gave me directions. Upon my arrival, I saw a car waiting to get tested, but Kenny was holding the spot for me. He waved me in, drove my car into the bay and tested my car. Test was $45, which was very reasonable. Jumping ahead two weeks, my trucked needed to get smogged. I called Kenny in the morning to find out his hours, Kenny remembered me. Told him i'd be in around 5:15PM. On my way over (around 5:10PM), Kenny called to tell me there was no wait. A couple minutes later, I arrived and pulled right in for the test. I believe in customer service, Kenny has that down. I found the only smog station I will need. I'm not going anywhere else. Kenny is a hard working guy trying to support his family, very honorable in today's world. I will send all my family and friends to Kenny, I'm certain they will not be disappointed. Tell your friends to see Kenny for the smog test needs. read more

I've come here two years in a row and I'll never go anywhere else. Great service all around. Thankful I found this place for my smog tests.

Kenny is the man to go to get a smog. fast and efficient got me in and out quick. Was very helpful!

I saw the reviews, I messaged through Yelp for a quote. Kenny replied in like 5 minutes (maybe less). Quoted me $45 to smog my car. Showed up, pulled straight in, and was out in less than 20 minutes. The results were sent in electronically and the DMV (and AAA) already had the results before I could drive over to renew my registration. Super fast, great service, reasonably priced. Like others have said, the parking is kinda tricky, you need to enter off 131st I believe. The Inglewood side is Exit only. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone in need of a smog test. read more

Awesome service by Kenney, courteous and professional. Thank you for doing my smog in such a hurry. I definitely recommended this place.

I am back at Kenny's Smog Express again. He was so nice the last time I was here. Service was quick and easy. Great service!

Sir ken, is always helpful and patience. I have send family members and friends to him and they are always satisfied by his service.

Great guy. Super nice. Quick. Clean shop. Parking isn't great on the premises, but that seems par for the course with these smog check places. $50 isn't a bad price. read more

This place is fast and reasonably priced. I called Kenny answered and told me to come in. All was taken care of in less than 15 min. Def would go again. Of note, there are 2 smog centers when Smog Test Express is. Make sure you go to the right one. Just ask for Kenny! read more

Kenny was super nice and crazy fast. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. He even complimented my old truck, which was unnecessary but I'm grateful for it. One note: he absolutely prefers cash, which I'm fine w/. If you find yourself w/o paper money there is a Chevron on the corner of El Segundo/Inglewood that you can take a stroll to that has an atm inside. He'll be done w/ your vehicle when you get back. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

Kenny was great and provides excellent service. Called to make sure he wasn't busy and pulled in when I showed up.
