You've been there: suddenly it's time to get your new tags and then you realize you need a smog check before you can renew. You're in a time crunch. What to do? Call ecoSmog! I made an appointment just to be safe and was then in and out in (literally) ten minutes. This was by far the fastest smog check I've ever had! Luckily, I take care of my car with regular oil changes and maintenance, so my car passed with flying colors. And the DMV paperwork was handled with ease. This is the most hassle-free place to get a smog check. Tips: It's inside a tire store. Just pull in the driveway as if you were going to the tire store and the smog kiosk is on the left under the ecoSmog sign. $2 off if you pay cash. read more

Really fast service and great customer service too. Make sure to call before going in- just to ensure you won't be waiting for a lengthy time (since it's a smaller shop). Will be back for sure! read more

Go here for your smog check! You won't regret it. I recently moved to LA and needed to get my registration updated today. Didn't even know I had to do a smog check. But I messaged ecoSmog and Armen was wonderful and quick to respond. He was even kind enough to price match a competitor for me! I was liiiterally in and out of there in about 5 minutes and just chilled in my car while he took care of everything with a friendly grin and an unbeatable price. PRO TIP: If you use Google Maps, it'll tell you to go to Boeing HQ as the destination... don't go there, it's wrong! They are located in the 76 Gas Station at the corner of Maple and the 1 PCH. I needed a Smog check and chose this location based on the great Yelp reviews. I am happy to report the reviews did not lie! I was in and out in probably 7 minutes! Armen was very nice and provided GREAT service! If you need a Smog check, look no further! A+ read more

The customer service at ecoSmog is 100% ! This stems from my initial phone call with them to actual service date. They answered my call in a timely matter and provided me with an open schedule as to when they were available for a SMOG. Once scheduled, they took me in early and completed a fast service. Armen greeted me very friendly and took care of my service within minutes of arrival. Fast, easy and very pleasant experience. Will come back read more

Not open at 8:00am as advertised. They rent space for the 76 station and, according to the person working there, the ecoSmog people usually show up around 9:30...ish. I am now having my car smogged at a competitor - which would have happened even if their hours were correctly posted, since 9:30 is too late for me - but they would have at least avoided this one-star review. read more

After searching for a place to get my smog check I stumbled across ecoSmog and was very impressed with all their positive feedback. I was more impressed with the fact that once I got there, all those reviews were accurate! I was greeted right as I came through the doors and was immediately taken care of. Not to mention the very polite friendly staff that always spoke with a smile! I wasn't sure how long it would take because the place was full of cars and I was worried it would take awhile but it was so fast that when the guy told me he was done I said, "seriously?!". I would highly recommend this place for fast, friendly service! read more

After reading all the wonderful reviews about ecoSmog, I decided to try this Smog Station. Armen is very friendly, and professional. The service is fast and location is right by Starbucks, so while I was getting my coffee, the smog check was done. He had my papers already for me, when I got back. I did not use his DMV service, but he informed me that he is certified to take care of DMV needs as well, which would be wonderful if I ever needed it. I definitely recommend ecoSmog. read more

Just moved to California & this was the first time to ever do a smog check! I chose ecoSmog because they were friendly to me over the phone, no appointment necessary, and had the best price in town. Highly recommend this place to anyone. $40 out the door. Alex was professional, courteous and QUICK! He normally doesn't work on Sunday but answered his phone anyway, said he was in the area and would help me out. Now that's service! And did I mention QUICK!!!! I was in and out so fast I couldnt believe it (I wanna say less than 10mins) Smog is usually an expensive headache. But thanks to Alex this was a pleasant experience. Ed is the most caring, knowledgeable and fair mechanic I have ever worked with. He provided me with a quote in advance and there were no additional fees later. He spent time to correctly diagnose the problem and educated me on the issue. I have taken my car for different services there and have been always happy afterwards. Their service is always fast and they are fair and professional. read more

I usually don't leave reviews for smog shops/etc because i think they're all crooks. Well, Alex proved to be the exception. Young, honest, hard working guy! Made me feel comfortable the moment I pulled up, gave me a fair price and explained everything. I really appreciated the fact that he gave all his customers his undivided attention, and answered all questions. I was in and outta there in less than 10 mins!!! Most pain free smog check I've ever gotten, it was a suppppppper hot day but they had a waiting room with A/C and tv playing the soccer game, and COLD water!!!!! I brought both of my cars in for a smog heck here. The service was fast, quick and easy! I didn't even have to get out of my car which is a huge plus for me. As soon as I pulled up in my car, they cleared the area to get started with my smog check. read more
